Unlike the other reviews I don’t hit from the mats. I like hitting off the grass turf. When I’m done working on my shots I move to the chipping green to work on my short game. Can’t find other places that are much better.

I went here the other day to brush up on my golf swing. When it first opened up, this place was great! The automatic golf tees are an awesome concept. Well, this time, the machine kept back looping and sprouting up two balls as the artificial grass had tears in it and didn’t allow the ball to pop up straight. I moved to another tee and had the same thing occur and the grass had some major divots ripping apart from repetetive swings. The price is decent but the covered tee area definitely needs some work. Next time, I think I’ll try the natural grass tees.

I have to concur with Steve T’s review(although I have seen worse). A lot of hitting stations don’t work, the balls suck, and the place is not cheap at all. The only redeeming quality is it is one of the few places nearby you can hit balls and see ball flight during the interminable winters. Can’t wait for warmer weather so I can stop going here.

When this place first opened, it was fantastic. Now a few years later, deep in the red, this place is awful. Rumor is that the city is trying to sell the place so it seems they’re putting absolutely no money into the maintenance. Only a few of the automatic tees work on a consistent basis, the balls are absolutely unhitable, the mats are worn down to nothing and the heaters don’t really heat. Hopefully when they do sell the place, the new owner will put a little money and effort into the place.
