History

Established in 2004.

Designs On You was started as an expansion to our sister company, The Button Lady, which had been serving youth athletics in Lake County since 1996. What started as pride in my son quickly blossomed into a business that I never imagined. We are a home-​grown business, developed through the support of football and cheer parents at Warren Township Youth Football (where my son played for 7 years from the mid 90’s thru the early 2000’s). Through local support we were able to grow and rapidly develop into one of Lake County’s leading embroidery and screenprinting providers.

We are a locally owned and operated company and are lifelong residents of Lake County proud to be service providers to our community. We offer a full line of promotional products to complement our apparel lines, and of course, BUTTONS are our first love! Business Owner

Trudy attended Libertyville high school and her husband, Frank Mason, attended Waukegan East. Her first business, The Button Lady, was born out of being a Warren Township football mom. Through support from Warren Township she expanded her business to include embroidery and screenprinting and she hasn’t looked back since.
