History

Established in 2004.

I started driving a taxi in Nassau County in 2000. I drove for 5 different taxi companies between 2000 and 2004. I was not happy with the vehicles provided, the disrespect toward the drivers or the absolute lack of concern for the customer. How many times have you called a cab and the dispatcher told you 10 minutes, 40 minutes later you’re still waiting for a cab. The filthy cab shows up with a nutjob driving it. The problems here are: A.) the dispatcher left your ticket on his desk for 30 minutes BEFORE dispatching the call to the driver; B.) the company does’nt care who drives their cars or the shape of the vehicles and C.) the Owners are ONLY concerned with how much MONEY their cabs are making. THAT will not happen with Taxi Jax Car Service! First, I’m a mechanic/​owner/​operator. I fix my own cars and I know what’s happening out there. I’ve been in the auto business for over 40 years as a mechanic/​builder/​driver/​owner in one form or another. My dad was a truck driver/​mechanic and taught me from an early age. I’ve built most of the vehicles I’ve owned over the years. I’ve driven cars, tow-​trucks, trucks and bikes all my life. I’m also an accomplished Salesman and focus on the needs of my customers in regards to the service or products I’m selling. I’ve been in the Taxi Business for 12 years, 3 years out-​of-​state and 9 years in NY. I’ve built up a good and reliable reputation in Nassau County and I go to lenghts to preserve it. The Customer is ALWAYS right.
