Very good selection in this state for craft brew and very convenient if staying at one of the many hotels around like I

This is a liquor store where a woman doesn’t mind shopping. You can find everything, well lighted, clean, orderly. Most of all the sales people, Pete C. in particular, is a really nice guy and great help. He made sure I got what I needed within a day, which was a more cost effective solution for me since it was for a fondue. This is a convenient well-stocked, excellent small business that you can feel comfortable supporting. I highly recommend you visit and make it your store.

This place is great if you don’t want anyone to really help you with anything without asking. I’m not being facetious, it’s just the truth. I have had to find people at the counter every time I’ve needed something, but this isn’t a huge deal for me. I very rarely need advice from an employee at a liquor store. The prices are above average for the area, but not terrible. In general, the place is great for the area, and super convenient in terms of location. All this being said, if you enjoy being greeted, served, coddled or helped without having to track someone down, this place probably isn’t for you. They don’t go out of their way. But, if you prefer to avoid being pestered, that might be a plus! For me, I like to go here after a trip to Sam’s to knock all my needs out in one fell swoop. They have some good deals from time to time, and are usually very well stocked. I’m a fan!

Very close to my house but I generally don’t go here. I drink beer exclusively, which they don’t have the widest selection of, but there is a decent amount for the casual drinker. A lot of wine. Never really noticed the liquor section. Prices are a bit above average on beer. It’s a good place to go if something is in high demand because I’ve never seen a ton of traffic going through. Level of service is great for me as someone who doesn’t want to be talked to unless I have a question or I’m paying.

This store is conveniently located in the same shopping center as the Sam’s Club on 95th St. near I-35. It’s the closest liquor store to where I used to live, so I’ve shopped there reasonably often. My experience has been different, evidently, than the other reviewers. I’m far from being young and cute, and being male I don’t have breasts to speak of! Yet the service has been fine, whenever I’ve needed it.(I’m reasonably knowledgeable about wine and liquor, so I don’t need a lot of help choosing things most of the time.) When I moved last year the staff was very nice about saving me boxes to use for packing. I haven’t really checked out the beer selection extensively. However, I recall that they had several choices in hard ciders, when I was looking for some. They do have a pretty wide selection of wines and spirits, and the prices seem reasonable. I’ve always been able to find a good bottle of wine here, and they’ve also had what I was looking for when I was buying liquor. Gomer’s probably has a somewhat larger selection, and Lukas Liquors certainly does, but Jack’s is fine and definitely convenient if you’re also shopping at Sam’s Club or the Costco across I-35.

Been shopping at Jacks for a long time… great wine selection, so it’s hard to say good-by, but staff is only friendly and helpful to the young, good-looking, etc., etc., so, if that fits you… you will no doubt have a great shopping experience, but if you’re more like me… old and not so sexy… just drive to Gomers. They also have good prices, but much more friendly to ALL customers! And I’ve heard that Rhyno Liquor is also worth trying. I’ll try them both… so long Jack’s!

If my wife were to write this review, she would give Jack’s at least 4 stars. She came home one day raving about how helpful they were to her when she was shopping for wine. When I went in, on her recommendation, I found a staff that was unwilling to help me as I wandered aimlessly through the wines. They also had a horrible beer selection. She went in again and got wonderful service again. I went in again and was ignored. I think the service at Jack’s is entirely dependent on the customer’s breast size. That being said, Jack’s is a crowded little liquor store with wine taking up most of the room. The beer selection is there simply because it has to be, but nothing out of the ordinary beerwise is stocked there. We’ve found some good wine bargains at Jacks from time to time, so if you’re an oenophile it’s definitely worth a shot. But if you’re interested in beer and without breasts you should just skip Jack’s.
