I loved the results of the threading of eyebrows and upper lip. The price was higher than I expected but It was a great job. I’ll surely come back.

I visited a couple of years back, and the technician barely spoke. I mean, after she finished with another customer, she walked out of the room and essentially said, «Are you coming?» A friend of mine recently had his brows done here and had a similar experience. That’s why I decided to finally take the time to review.

Reading some of the older reviews, I was a bit scared of going to this shop but turns out I had a good experience. The lady was nice and did my eyebrows exactly how I wanted them(I like mine thick). I was in and out fairly quickly, but then again I came in on a Monday morning, other days/time might be different. Overall all went well and I will be back. Ps: cost for eyebrows threading is $ 13

I have been to many places for Brazilian waxing, but this is the worst and most unprofessional place I have ever been to. The lady does not know what she is doing when she can’t even adjust the wax temperature properly. She had the it on high heat causing the wax watery which it wasn’t the right consistency especially when it was running low. It was burning hot the whole time and I kindly request for her to blow on the wax more which she didn’t do so. I used to have the same GiGi waxing kit for years and I am very experience with this product. I was tired of hearing her making excuses and acting stubborn after I stated the facts. The proper way of checking for the right temperature is to place on your own skin before applying on customers which she didn’t do. She also wax the same spot lots of times to remove hair. It makes me question if she is even qualify. Customer service was horrible I gave her a good tip even though I had an unpleasant experience and she didn’t even bother to say thank you. Sorry to say but they would have to pay me to get serviced here. Don’t waste your time and money, you are better off going to a well-known companies like European Wax Center.

I love the results of threading, and they do a great job here. I am used to paying only $ 8 for threading, so it kinda hurt paying more as I always add a tip. The staff doesn’t go out of their way to make you feel good, but they do good at brows. I had an epiphany on this threading visit. Why not learn to thread my own eyebrows? Hmm. I travel too much to keep up the maintenance. So, off I go to buy some thread!

BTW My threading lasted five weeks no plucking in between needed. Awesome!

Absolutely the worst place you could go for eyebrow threading! you’re better off doing it yourself! I walked in and no one greeted me, they just continued to talk as they were… when I finally looked at them they said you hear for eyebrows? I said yes and then they told me to sit in the chair which I did but regardless they continued to speak and ignore me! I said ok whatever as long as they do a good job I don’t care. they lady came, didn’t say anything to me just started threading I said to her«I really like my eyebrows thick so can you leave a line of hair at the bottom to keep them thick?» she said ya ok and continued to do what she was doing… meanwhile the lady next to me continued to speak in her language bashing her mother in law the entire time and cussing away. she thought I didn’t understand what she was saying i understood every last word! when she was done I was horrified what i saw in the mirror she made my eyebrows pencil thin! it took me many months to grow them thick and she left a line of hair! I said Wth I told u I wanted them thick u made them even thinner!!! she just stared at my face with her blank stare and the stupid loudmouth lady next to her just continued speaking her bs even when she saw me complaining and upset!!! I mean I understand you don’t need a degree to thread eyebrows but sheesh have some professionalism some manners, some decency… if someone is saying they want one thing don’t do the COMPLETEOPPOSSITE! Im so disappointed Id rather pluck them myself and will Never ever go back here! save ur 12 bucks and your patience and your eyebrows and STAYAWAY!!! I would give them negative stars if I could!

I really enjoy this establishment. I have been here 4 times for eyebrow threading and each time I am 100% satisfied with the results. They really do a great job and fit the shape to your face. The location is easy find eventhough it’s across from Oak Park Mall, it’s always very clean and they take credit for both services and tips.(I have a pet peeve about only taking cash for tips) They get the 5 stars for service excellence, being kind & polite and always remembering me. (Threading: Practitioners use a pure, thin, twisted cotton thread which is rolled over untidy hairlines, moustaches and so on, plucking the hair at the follicle level. Unlike tweezing where a single hair is pulled out each time, threading can remove an entire row of hair, resulting in a straighter line.)

Went in for my first threading, ever. Even though I told them that, they were not helpful in explaining anything. Didn’t know it would be as uncomfortable as it was. Didn’t know how long the torture would last. It was NOT pleasant. Quality of service was a lower than expectations. They were very fast, but very sloppy. When I got home and looked under the light, they missed a lot of strays. All that discomfort for nothing. One thing I’ll say, they were very good at socializing with each other, while they serve their clients. In other words, if you like being ignored while the focus is supposed to be on you, then this is the place for you. I’m not sure why anyone would go back here after the first experience.

Yes, mom. I did pay $ 12 for eyebrow threading. Sure, I could tweeze on my own for free, but I never tweeze my eyebrows evenly because I’m incapable of taking care of myself, and it bugs my sinuses so I’ll go for months without tweezing and… yeesh. Sure, I could wax but ITHURTSSSSSSSS. Threading is quick and easy. You sit in a chair, the thread… ist…ette takes a thread or several(I was too scared to look) to your face and spends maybe 3 – 5 minutes per brow. It feels like little pinches all over your face. It isn’t painful, but because of my sinuses I teared up a tad. And best of all– it looks amazing. No, the customer service I got wasn’t the best I ever had. No, I’m probably not going to go for a cup of coffee with the girls who do my brows. But she did my brows and she did them right. And that’s good enough for me.

These are the ladies that use to have a booth in Oak Park Mall. They opened up their own salon between a chiropractor and a Chinese buffet. It’s not a salon where you stay and chat, you’re in, you’re out and good to go. Ive had too many experiences with threading where they whittle my brows to almost pin-like arches, they do it just right for your face! I personally love it and you can’t beat the price– $ 12 for brows!

I went in with a Groupon for eyebrow threading. The process was quicker than I expected and the results were fantastic. I am definitely an eyebrow threading fan now; it did seem to last longer and look better than waxing. I will never, ever return to Esthetics Center, though. The women working there are SO rude. They spoke to one another in another language right in front of me the whole time. Of course I felt totally paranoid that they were talking about me, and regardless if they were discussing what to get for lunch that day, it was the rudest thing, ever. If I tried to talk to them, they were obviously put out that I dared to interrupt them. The experience was painfully uncomfortable, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
