History

Established in 2003.

z Barber Shop in San Diego, California. Leonard grew up in Stockton California. He attended church on Sundays and got his hair cut every Saturday. He enjoyed the barber shop until it was time for him to sit in the chair; then the crying began. His father opted to cut his hair to keep him calm.

As Leonard got a little older he decided to do his first cut in 1994 at the age of 11 years old. He came down stairs with a jagged hair line with no words to say. Needless to say his mother was upset because church was the next day. His grandma was proud and said let him practice. He practiced on himself and his grandma paid him five dollars a week to cut his younger cousin’s hair. By 1997 he was cutting his classmates hair and anyone in the neighborhood that would let him. His home was always full of young men waiting in line for a haircut and listening to his beats from his key board. He got so good his mother encouraged him to attend barber college.
