We had to make the tough decision to put our cat down and because it was after hours and clear she was suffering, we took her to Blue Pearl because our regular vet was closed.
Everything from my first phone call to the pickup of her ashes today was clear, fair, and most of all compassionate. We had no wait, the staff and doctor were all very kind and respectful, and while it feels odd to say this — it was the best worst experience I’ve ever had.
Yes, it was expensive, but they were very clear and upfront about the costs, offered options, and didn’t push at all. I think it was worth every penny.
I will definitely be recommending this office to my friends and coworkers. While I hope we don’t need to see them again, I’m really, really happy with their work.

Seriously if you care about your pet, check other places for reviews on these corporate scumbags as they are horrific, ex Google reviews. My husband and I took our diabetic cat to them late at night and while they gave him some saline to hydrate him it was only 30 mg and they said he would die if he didn’t stay the night for $ 1,000.00. My husband was off work then and we just did not have it and they were so horrible and nasty to us. They would not tell us how much Karo syrup to give him thru the rest of the night, they wouldn’t sell me a bag of solution even though our vet had done so in the past, and they wanted to euthanize him and charge us for that. We saved him and got him to our vet next morning. My niece took her dog there and they let her die on a table in the back. Alone, while they had her filling out paperwork to get money from her. DO NOT GO TO THESE NAZIS IF YOU LOVE YOUR PET!!!

This should really be a one-​star review. It gets two simply because it is open in the middle of the night.
First off, being a responsible pet owner means doing loads of research and accepting the fact that you are going to end up spending unforeseen amounts of money on your animals. It’s what you’re signing up for when you adopt or buy a fur kid. With that said, let me tell you a story about an emergency vet clinic that tried to rip me off.
Background: On a Monday morning, after my great dane had seemed slightly off the previous two days, he vomited bright yellow bile before breakfast. I called my regular vet, whom I trust beyond words, and got him in right away. He weighed him (he’d lost 15 lbs over the course of a month) and took his temp, which was over 104 degrees. I described the past 48 hours and we decided to run blood work. He also prescribed an antibiotic to immediately address the elevated temperature. Jordan was lethargic, had no appetite, and seemed really weak, but he wasn’t dehydrated. Later that day, when the blood work came back, he called me and I went over to the clinic so we could look at the results together. All the numbers were totally normal; nothing elevated, nothing low. So he handed me Blue Pearl’s business card just in case. We discussed bringing Jordan back the next day to be put on fluids if he got dehydrated overnight.
Fast forward to Monday night. Jordan hasn’t eaten or drunk anything all day. His body is trembling upon inhalation. I am one freaked out mom. I realize I will have to take him back to my vet first thing the next morning for fluids, but I’m aware that I might need to take him to the ER vet during the night if he’s not doing well. Sure enough, I’m waking up every 15 minutes all night because Jordan is so uncomfortable and I’m terrified that I’m going to lose my dog without explanation. So I call Blue Pearl and explain the situation, stating that he’s dehydrated and needs fluids, and that I’m too scared to wait another 4 hours for my vet to open. I put Jordan in the back of my SUV, which he is now too weak to get out of under his own strength, so I am lifting a 115lb dog in and out of my vehicle. I buzz the door and go into the waiting room after filling out the form.
This is where my experience starts pissing me off. The overnight vet walks into the room and gets all the info on what’s going on and takes Jordan’s temp, which has not come down even a full degree. I tell her he needs fluids and that I don’t want to wait until 8am. She then proceeds to tell me that she wants to run full blood work (even though his last panel is less than 24 hours old and NOTHING has changed), wants to do ultrasounds, wants him to wait until morning to see a specialist (so keep him for the rest of the night, charging me to wait until morning), and THEN wants to put him on fluids. She comes back with the cost estimate for all she’s suggested and it’s $ 1500. ARE YOU F*&%%#%*$ KIDDING ME!!! I have paid for two TPLO surgeries for this dog (ACL tears in big dogs require metal plates), so I am not someone who is going to let my dog go without medical necessities, and yet, I had to defend myself to this person after she’s blatantly trying to rip me off. I say no to everything other than IV fluids. She goes and re-​assesses the cost estimate and comes back with charges totaling $ 800. WTF!!! FOR FLUIDS!!! I’m sorry, but I wasn’t born in the back of a barn yesterday. That is ridiculous.
All this time, I’m as nice as can be while this jerk is trying to pull the wool over my eyes. At this point, my vet opens in less than three hours and I tell her I’ll just wait until morning. This is when she mentions that she can do a subcutaneous fluid injection to get some fluids in him. It costs $ 50. FIFTY DOLLARS. THAT’S ALL I NEEDED IN THE FIRST PLACE, YOU CONNIVING PIECE OF DIRT.
I can’t even imagine how many people have trusted this clinic, this person, thinking she’s doing what’s necessary and best for their precious pet, but I’m telling you right now, know your pet. Know what they really need and don’t be taken by this clinic. It’s one thing to take a pet that has experienced sudden trauma, like a car accident, but it’s an entirely different story to show up with a sick kiddo and expect them to do the right thing without ripping you off. FYI, day-​long IV fluids at my vet that morning were less than $ 200.
Whoever you are, you should be ashamed of yourself for trying to take advantage of a concerned parent, all while NOT doing your job of treating a sick animal. You are a disgrace to the veterinary practice and don’t deserve to have your job or your title.

In an effort to escape the back yard to dominate the world my 5 pound Chihuahua Tootsie managed to tear most of her fur/​skin off her front leg. After 6 pm on a sunday you’re only option is an emergency clinic. Thank god for Blue Pearl. they’re ²⁴⁄₇. Their beside manner (for us humans) is gentle and caring. they had to put Tootsie under to stitch her up and she’s made a full recovery!

Our dog was ran over and we rushed to the closest emergency vet hospital, Blue Pearl. They are awesome!!! I thought there was no chance my dog was going to survive… But with the DR and nurses on staff, he did! I am SO thankful for their effort, knowledge and surgery specialities. I highly recommend Blue Pearl!
