Driver’s Edge – Leander

I have been very pleased with this shop. Work is done properly and at s reasonable cost. One time when I had run over a box of salsa on IH35 (don’t ask!) they were more than happy to put the car up on the lift to check for damage. A few clips were broken on the bumper, but nothing else. They zip tied them for me and sent me on my way. Thank you!

Awesome place to get your oil changed if you live close by but not a good place for major repairs.
I have been here for couple of oil change and the guys are fantastic but when it came to some bigger repairs they felI short. Had to go back twice for the same issue once, gave them a second chance with another repair, gave me the wrong diagnosis, wrong part number, told me that they could do something and backed out after I had bought the part. The funny part is I called them more that twice to confirm that they can do it when other shops that specializes in the car backed out of the repairs.
To be fair I don’t expect anyone to know everything about all the cars but I would rather have them tell me that they do not know rather than tell me that they can do the repairs and back out.
Again these guys are fantastic for your normal service and small repairs but shop around if you have a bigger repairs.

This is where all my cars will be getting serviced from now on. Fast friendly service that is honest and trustworthy.

I have only used them for inspections so far but they’re always super fast and friendly. Will try them out next time I need something more major done.

Really impressed with this place. Service has always been good, and they’ve been honest to a fault (e.g., they’ve told me to wait to replace a part for which they could have easily charged me $ 900 in the moment). With regard to oil changes, I am so sick of Jiffy Lube’s scams, and I will only be coming to Driver’s Edge from this point on. So far so good! Thanks, DE!

This place is Super Sweet. I was rejected the 5^th time from NTB for an oil change (he rolled his eyes and acted like it would be FOREVER) So I remembered this place down the street from our house plus, I had a coupon BONUS. They were great on the phone very receptive to have me come in. I went. Left came back and had great friendly service. They even took care of my tire light issue and refilled my fluids. I left feeling well taken care of and will definitely be back. We have 3 cars in this family and they will ALL go here. I also had a smile on my face as I watched them take care of a SUPER SWEET old timer who was hard of hearing but, the guys showed no frustration at all! Classy Guys.

Ended up going back to have them figure out what the heck was going on and make it right since it was still smoking and leaking oil. Turns out a seal on the new oil filter had a crack in it. They apologized and cleaned up the smell as much as they could. Giving 3 stars for finally making it right just wish they would have followed thru the first time or even mentioned the oil spill (that the mechanic did confirm happened) originally. Once again they were very friendly so must give them props for that and this time getting in there and working backwards to figure out what was going on.

We have brought our vehicles to EDGE in Leander several times. We prefer them to any other auto service in our area. They get the job done, they fix what needs to be fixed and don’t inflate the bill with excess stuff that is not needed. We consider this a major feat, as other places are always trying to get you to add a half a dozen of this or that when you get a service. The technicians are professional, everyone there is friendly and they provide excellent customer service. What more can you ask for!!’
We will continue to use this location when any of our vehicles need service or are having a problem!

So amazing! Great customer service and communication. He let me know right away it would be a bit because they were busy. I didn’t mind thought with the free wifi and super nice waiting areas. Will be back forever!

I had my fuel pump replaced back in December. No issues and DE did real well.

My 2002 Sequoia would not shift to Park. Normally, I would take to my mechanic all the way on Lamar but I decided to find a local one here in Leander. First, I googled the problem and pretty much knew what broke in the shifter. Anyhow, the tech diagnosed the problem correctly, got the part from Toyota. The car works fine now. The price was reasonable and 3 years 36K miles warranty is a plus. Instead of going to a dealer, I would recommend trying out Driver’s Edge and support your local business

Can’t tell you how much John and Jason made it very easy to get my Jeep fixed. I came in with a check engine light Monday evening and Tuesday morning came in for the repair. Jason knew exactly what was going because John communicated with him! It didnt take long to get the repairs done and before i knew it, I was out the door. Excellent job done by the service advisors and by the tech that worked on my vehicle. They brought up some minor issues that should be looked into. I will definitely be back for those repairs soon. I went by drivers edge for an oil change. They were really fast and very friendly. There is also a DVD player with videos for kids, so that was helpful.

I was fully prepared to write a bad review… but as it turns out, this will be a good one. To begin, I’ve now had the oil changed twice at this establishment. I went yesterday for the 2^nd time with my coupon for an oil change that was mailed to my box for 19.95. The cashier refused to listen to me in that moment and charged my card a total of 37 and change. I finally had him produce the coupon and you could see by the look on his face that he immediately realized his error. He gave me a business card in order to give me a half off discount for my next oil change and dismissed me. The business card meant that I’d get my next oil change for 19.95…but that was really not helpful, as I chose them because I needed the discount this time and could’ve chosen another place if I’d known they wouldn’t honor their own coupon. In any case, I left very upset. Apparently, he thought it over and called the number on our account and refunded us the entire 37 dollars to our card. The actual oil change service was great, and their wait room is very clean and also very kid friendly. The service was fast and very efficient. I can gladly report that even if they commit an error in customer service, they will go to great lengths to remedy the issue. I will continue to bring my vehicle to them for any needed service. Kudos to the staff for not only fixing the issue, but going above and beyond to satisfy their customers! Keep up the great work!

This place is awesome! I called to get information on an oil change, they told me I could come right in without an appointment. They are courteous and friendly, they got the job done very quickly (which I appreciate because I had my 5 year old and my 18 month old kids with me), and gave me the best price around. They have a clean and inviting waiting area, and best of all they are located right in Crystal Falls.

Terrible experience. They refused to make the problem right, and argued with me about it. We paid for work that never got done and they had the car for WEEKS. Not only that, but they outright LIED about it. Take your car somewhere else. These people will cheat you.

Nice facility and great staff. Got a good up front estimate and the work was done well with no surprises.

It’s so nice to go into an auto shop and not be afraid to touch anything. Their friendly service is above and beyond. You are not dealing with a grumpy, dirty, greasy mechanic. They made sure to show me the defective parts and explain in detail what was the problem. And they didn’t go looking for other stuff to repair (like NTB). It’s like going to the dealer, but without the high cost. And they always have discounts going on to save you some bucks.

I trust them! Love the Crystal Falls location and their staff. I will definitely be using them for all future needs with my car and truck.
