* In 1903, Hilldrup Transfer opens in Fredericksburg, VA

* In 1940, Charles B. McDaniel purchases the company

* In 1976, Charles G. McDaniel becomes the third President and CEO

* In 2005, Charles W. McDaniel becomes the fourth president

* In 2007, Hilldrup opens an office in Atlanta, GA

* In 2011, Hilldrup moves into new facilities in Atlanta

Charles has been President and CEO of Hilldrup since 2005, taking over from his father, Charlie. Charles is the third generation to lead the company.
