History

Established in 1982.

Cromwell Environmental & Solar specializes in the relationship between people and the buildings and environment in which they live and work. Our expertise encompasses indoor air quality, green construction, and solar design and installation (photovoltaic and solar hot water).

Cromwell Environmental & Solar employees boast an incredible wealth of knowledge, training, and commitment.

Our solar division is set apart from many solar firms in that we precisely design, engineer and install custom solar arrays using our own NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professionals who direct each project from initial design through final commissioning and ensure that each system meets our customer’s economic, environmental, and aesthetic goals.

Our Environmental division is comprised of Microbiologists, Industrial Hygienists, Civil Engineers, Electrical Engineers, and Construction Managers who understand the relationship between building design, construction and environmental challenges.

Aron C.

Business Owner

Aron Cromwell holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of Kansas and a Master’s degree in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Michigan Technological University. He is NABCEP certified (North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners). Prior to owning Cromwell Environmental, Mr. Cromwell spent several years building Energy Star homes and focusing on green construction strategies. He is committed to making a difference in his community by contributing to many local committees and governing boards and has served the people of Lawrence, Kansas as a City Commissioner, Vice-​Mayor and Mayor during which time he helped achieve many environmental victories including the establishment of a city wide curbside recycling program.
