Laveen Veterinary Center

Never. These people killed my cat last year. It has taken me a year to actually write this review. I actually debated whether to write it at all. But, now, I think it is my obligation to make sure the general public is aware of this business negligence.
I brought in my cat to be spayed. About an hour after I dropped our cat off, I got a call from the clinic. My cat had died under anesthesia (before they even operated). When I came in to pick up my crate, the vet pulled me and my son into a private room. There they admitted that they didn’t run standard blood work prior to the surgery. This is upsetting, because yes, I guess there is always a risk that your animal may die during surgery. But the fact that they didn’t do routine tests — not sure why — upset me greatly.
We have three dogs and I would NEVER trust this outfit with any other animal. Our animals all go to South Point Animal Clinic at 48^th St. and Baseline. Dr. Patty O’Beirn lives in Laveen. We trust her 100% Also, fyi, University Animal Hospital 2500 S Hardy Dr
Tempe, AZ 85 282 is an awesome facility for emergency visits as well as general checkups.

Loved the vet and staff here. They were so good with my dog Beau and took time to talk to us about him and his health. I am so happy we found this place.

This vet office is outstanding! Our Daisy and Twinkie get nothing but amazing care when they go in. Everyone in the office is very professional and they love our girls like we do! We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Clean, friendly, concerned staff. Experience was very positive. We took our 7 year old female dog there, first time. We were able to get an appt same day (wonderful). We went right into an exam room and a tech was there immediately to work with us. It was efficient and professional, caring. The Dr came in immediately after. We were there for shots and a concern for our dog’s back leg that had collapsed.
No pressure to up sell additional services, realistic care and services. We will be back. We are very pleased to find a reputable vet within our community that treats animal owners with respect not shame. prices reasonable.

Doctor Ware and staff are an outstanding crew! Great service and care for our dog. Helps us with diet, shots and routine K9 maintenance. He comes very highly recommended by our family.

If you’re looking for a new vet office, I highly recommend Laveen Vet Center. They are awesome. The staff I’d very friendly and accommodating, their prices are fair. Both Dr. Ware and Dr. Mader are very patient with my dogs and take the time to get to know them and win their trust. I never feel rushed and I know they truly care about the health of my four legged babies.

We brought our Boxers in for a normal exam. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, they made sure to give me a ton of scheduling options and were up front with pricing. Dr. Ware was amazing he did a great job with both of my pups and made sure to give us some good information about stopping some behaviors. I’ll continue going back!

Dr. Mader has been so helpful with my Golden Retriever Lexington. We have been to their office a few times and have been completely satisfied every time. They are very reasonably priced and they don’t try to up sell you with things you don’t need like a lot of offices. They are always very nice and seem concerned with all of your issues, and making both you and your pet a priority. We also have a couple French Bulldogs and she was able to resolve their issues as well. Dr. Mader always follows up personally for big issues and ensures everything is going well and the meds are working, etc…
I would recommend them for all dogs.

I began going to Dr. Ware last Fall 2014, and instantly knew it was the place to bring my girls. Dr. Ware is extremely knowledgeable about the issues my dog has had, and always provides me reading materials to back up his suggestions. He is always very calm and takes a great approach to explaining the best courses of treatment. And my dogs love him. He always gets to their level and gives them hugs and pets before he starts anything, which puts them at ease. Even my older Japanese Chin who can be stand-​offish with strangers wags her tail and loves him. Will continue to take my dogs here!

I’ve been to another vet in Laveen that I shall not go back to again. Dr Ware got down on my dogs level as he was nervous. He gave him so love and he started to warm up to him. We will be going back with our other 2 pugs. They are also very reasonably priced

Great experience! Been there twice now. One for a new kitty we found and one for a cat we have had but hasn’t been to the vet in a while. Saw both vets. The lady dr was awesome and dr ware was great! Both prompt and told us everything we needed to know. And we got a % off of the kitten. Their kitten special!

My boyfriend and I are so pleased with the care our dog Myron received here. The whole staff is so friendly and welcoming. They didn’t hesitate to become friends with our pup and call him by his name when we came in. We had to go back twice since our initial visit and they always seem excited to see him. Dr. Mader helped Myron for his initial visit and Dr. Ware did his surgery. Everything was great. We hope we don’t have to take Myron back any time soon but I’m happy to know he will be in good hands! :)

We just moved here from Utah and our dog was having some skin problems. We called and got in the same day. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. They got us right in and were super sweet to our Ozzie. Dr. Mader came in and was super gentle with our buddy. He seemed worried when she left the room, but, when she came back he was happy to see her. She gave us pricing and reccomendations to help our boy get better. Thank you!

I am so happy this hospital opened in Laveen and am so glad I took my puppy here. She had been suffering from allergies around her eyes (itch/​rash) for most of the summer. The treatment from her previous vet didn’t help her and it was only getting worse to the point where my pup was wearing an E-​collar ²⁴⁄₇ for itching the skin to bleed. She was also due for a rabies shot. I decided to call Laveen Vet Center to see their availability and they had an opening an hour later! We went in and was so impressed with how clean and spacious the office is and how sweet the front desk girl was. It wasn’t long before we were roomed, seen by the tech (who, also was SO sweet and gentle with Lucy) and Dr. Mader. This vet was unlike any other I’ve met. The appointment didn’t feel rushed. When I told her I just noticed how Lucy’s ears needed cleaning and tips on how to, she didn’t hesitate to get materials and show me — she cleaned her ears! She was so informative, answered all my questions and knew exactly what would be best for Lucy. She was so good with her, Lucy didn’t squeal during her shot which she usually does. It has been a little over a week since we went in and Lucy’s allergies have cleared completely! I am so happy!
5 deserving stars for this new center! My Lucy will definitely be coming here for all her veterinary care needs. So happy I don’t have to drive across the valley anymore for quality vet care. Also, if you’re a new patient, don’t forget to show the Doctor your Unilocal Check-​In deal; they will honor it!

I brang my 4 month old pittie who was showing signs of parvovirus to Laveen Vet on Tuesday ¹⁰⁄₇ at first i called to see if they took walkins didnt want to get an extra fee for walk ins like other vets do i called about 5 and they let me know they could see my pup & i at 530.
When i arrived i was impressed by how clean their office was and how fast they took us back they even held the door for us when they saw us walking in.
The vet tech was quickly in the room and took temps and did a basic check up & asked questions so she can note it and let the vet know. A few minutes later i was introduced to the amazing Dr. Mader! She did a parvo test which came back positive she gave me estimates of how much everything would cost i had 3 options i of coarse took the cheapest since i was on a budget she asked what my price range was and could work something out. I ended up applying for carecredit which was done immediately by a very nice lady upfront named Jennifer, and was approved! :)
Long story short, Dr Mader called everyday to check up on my Bainey he was still showing no progress and was getting worse by today Thursday i called Dr. Mader about 11am and let her know i needed other cheap options because my baby wasnt responding well to the meds (not her fault) she then suggested i bring him in for about 5hrs to receive treatment i did just that right away i picked up my bainey a few hours ago and he was ALMOST like new he actually ate and drank water! she reccomended i take him back atleast one more time tomorrow morning and i definately will. I am so happy i came here. after trying 3 different vets and not being impressed i found the one. i definately will be back here.

I brought my french bulldog Phoebe to see Dr. Ware and was pleasantly surprised at how quickly I was taken into a room and even more surprised at how quickly Dr. Ware joined us. Dr. Ware is one of the best, most attentive, and «loving» veterinarians I have ever been to with any animal I’ve ever had. He actually sat on the floor to get to know my dog, which was a first, but since she’s little, was a great way to gain her trust.
During the examination both he and the assistant pointed out some issues I had never noticed before and that none of the other vets I have been to have mentioned. And it turned out that none of those things were issues to worry about and didn’t raise the price of the exam.
Dr. Ware went above and beyond, even helping with some less desirable things I assumed he would get an assistant to take care of. And when I asked for a prescription for a generic version of a name brand medicine they sold in the office, he was happy to do it, which was also a nice change.
Overall, I was extremely impressed and pleased with my visit, and I will absolutely be taking Phoebe back to see Dr. Ware for all her check-​ups in the future!
