The Prince George’s County Memorial Library System provides materials and information for study and personal enrichment. We offer strategies for lifelong learning through access to varied media and professional guidance by our staff. We focus all resources on the needs of our customers.
History
Established in 1947.
The Laurel Library became the first branch to join the newly created Prince George’s County Memorial Library System. A new building opened in 1967. Construction of the newest Laurel Branch Library, which will be almost double the size of the current edifice, is ongoing.
