Laurel 4th of July Celebration

Want to celebrate the 4^th without having to camp out all day like at the National Mall ?! If that’s the case, then drive up to Laurel, MD to celebrate the 4^th on the 5^th of July! This annual event provides plenty of food and free parking with a live band ! The Oracle Band performed from 4pm to 9pm singing some old and new school lyrics !
The fireworks started at 915pm and lasted until 10pm. The choreographed firework show was amazing with the lights reflecting off of Laurel Lake. The community in Laurel truly appreciates this family event as the entire firework show was funded by donors.
1. Arrive two hours early to stake your seating
2. Park half at least half a mile away if you plan to stay for the entire fireworks show otherwise you’ll be stuck in traffic inside a parking lot for 1 to 2 hours
3. Bring plenty of food and snacks but no alcohol
4. Last but not least, have a Happy 5^th of July in Laurel !
