Coming to Vegas for only a year, I hated the idea of looking for a totally new place and leaving my old doctor. However when i came here, I fell in love with the Maryann cope. She’s is super quick and thorough. The only thing I didn’t love was waiting for such a long time in the waiting area. Even when I arrive 15mins+ early before appointments and still don’t get called back til after my appointment time. Other than that the experience was great.

The waiting area, rooms, and entire facility are well-​kept and clean. Staff are pleasant enough. The wait isn’t too terrible — in fact, I’ve never really had to wait here. The NPs and doctors are nice and seem knowledgable. Mary Ann Cope is one of the better NPs I’ve experienced. Just don’t ever expect a call back when you call. They will never call you back no matter how many times they notate it. This particular location is easy to find and parking is a breeze — it’s basically part of Southern Hills hospital. They also have other office locations around town. Tip: Being flexible on location will help you get appointments faster, as will seeing an NP as opposed to one of the doctors. Bonus: They are primarily all female staff and doctors.

Being a medical professional myself, I hold providers and their staff up to very high standards. After having to switch OBGYNs due to an insurance update, I scheduled with Dr Gutierrez. Walking in to smiles and pleasant voices made me feel very comfortable. The triage nurse or MA (Natalie or something an N) made personable conversation and friendly banter all the while remaining very professional.
Dr G stepped in and I immediately felt like I was chatting with an old friend. Which says a lot considering none of my old friend have ever put a speculum inside of me… either way. she is great. She asked me what I needed and got to the chase. Nothing unnecessary was offered as many specialists tend to do.
The phlebotomist didn’t bruise my weird tiny veins either.
Also might I add, bravo to whoever chose the wall art.

I am here for an hour and what i hear now when i ask at the reception? That i still have 2 patients ahead …
So just so u know, never come here if u in hurry ! I was told is it’s up to me if i want to leAve … After waiting a month to come, now i have two options: whether to wait for hours until i go in or just go and come back in a month!

This is a qualified 4 stars: I started seeing Dr. Askari within the last year and really, really like him. The practice seems rather well-​run, too. But when I saw him a couple of months ago, he delivered the unfortunate news that he’s leaving and going back to California.
I saw him again a couple of weeks ago for the last time, and he talked up his replacement. But I can’t find any information about her, so I’m not sure I will continue to use the Women’s Specialty Care practice.

Please please stay away from Melissa Gutierrez, I was furious to find out that I got hit with hundreds of dollars bills after she told me the service I received was covered by my insurance 100%, you know what the funny thing is? I totally anticipate things like this would happen, where a doctor just tell you something that’s covered under your insurance when it’s actually not, so I ASKED HER 3 times on that visit to make sure if the lab work is REALLY covered 100% and she said YES. Not beliving her, I asked the front desk cashier, as well as the person who performed the service, they ALL TOLD ME it’s covered 100% by my insurance as it’s part of preventive care. And STUPID me that I asked everyone else in that clinic except my insurance company. I called them and asked why did they submit service that is not covered by my insurance, they just simply refused to be responsible for the bill and left me fighting with my insurance. I’m not going to give up letting everyone know HOW EVIL that clinic is, how can they just assume all the service are covered 100% by the insurance when they later argue with me «well, not all the doctor know what your insurance covered», THEN WHY DIDN’T they just tell me «not all the service are covered by your insurance, so you might want to check with your insurance first», but instead, they just told me «might as well do it because it’s covered by your insurance 100%», PLEASE TAKE MY WORD, NEVER believe anything the doctor told you to do, ALWAYS call and check with your insurance WHEN YOU ARE at the clinic. HOW CROOKED this world has become, SHAME ON YOU!
*I didn’t even ask to perform the service, at the end of my check up, she just randomly asked me «do you want to do this service as it’s covered by your insurance 100%?» I never even know about that service until she mentioned about it and I fell for it, I DID NOT ask for that service initially. I hereby state everything I said are true, and the doctor did word for word say it’s covered by my insurance 100%. Also, they provide fraud statement telling my insurance that during our conversation in doctors office, Doctor feel that addition test are needed which is what result the charge, wow.

This is a great place, I see Maryann Cope APN, she’s great, takes time to explain everything and has a great demeanor. The wait is also minimal here… Ive been called back ahead of schedule or on time every time.

AMAZING!!! After struggling with pain and a possible cyst being the problem, I went to numerous doctors within a month. The pain gets so bad at times that I can’t even walk. I just moved down here and was about ready to give up and move back north just for my health.
The staff is amazing upon check in. The nurse actually listened and looked at my chart. I waited a while for the doctor but she was well worth it. Dr. Cope shook my hand and listened to my struggle the past year. She was very compassionate. When j told her the horrible care I’ve received in Vegas and how everyone just hands me pills, she understood my concern. She asked me if I had any further questions at the end. Explained. Listened. Cared.
I asked about the cyst and she said there is no reason to live with the pain and she would be more than happy to take it out and help me get on with my life.
Needless to say… I will be going back to her forever. She was worth every bad doctor… Funny thing is… All the referrals to other doctors ended up being a waste of time. I found Dr. Cope on my own thanks to Unilocal :)

Came here for my annual on 3÷10÷15.
First off, this location is somewhat connected to Southern Hills Hospital in a separate building, first floor. There is plenty of parking.
The office is very new, so everything is clean and tidy.
Front desk staff were very friendly. There was a lot of laughing going on, which is always nice to hear (they weren’t slacking off, just making conversation with the patients and joking around nicely). There weren’t too many people waiting when I went in at 2:30 pm. I did take about 30 mins to see the Dr., but I’m assuming it’s because I was a new patient.
Maryann Cope is the best! She’s incredibly experienced, knowledgeable, and so friendly. She took the time to make conversation, which makes for a much more comfortable appointment. It was by far the easiest and painless annual I’ve had to date.
