High Risk Pregnancy Center

I went in today for my 12:15 appointment arrived at 11:55. Filled out paper work & spoke with a counselor. The only great thing about this location was that my family members of 4 adults and 4 kids were allowed to enter in with me. Here’s the bad part. I was sent back to a room at 1pm and the ultrasound tech (which name was Lizzy By The Way, I write this review cause of HER) didn’t come in until 10 minutes after. That’s already an hour after my original appointment. Let alone there was no guests in the waiting room or lobby therefore the employees shouldn’t have felt «busy». Lizzy was a rude Filipina lady. Entered with no smile, rushed everything, did not have a conversation with me. When she spoke to me did not make eye contact, no smiles or grins, she seemed to have hated her job. I reminder her that I requested a quick gender check (im 13w4d). My last pregnancy I was 14w when I found out I was having a girl! She didn’t even alert me to look at screen when she did the «gender check». I was talking to my family while she rushed the process and barged out the room with no eye contact. RUDE RUDE RUDE. I’ve had better service. Not to mention the facility was 30 minutes away from where I live! Scheduled another appointment at their other facility CLOSER! Not going back here again!

The staff here is so friendly, quick and thoughtful. Dr Iriye is amazing try to get him for your doc if you can. He always answers all my questions is calm and reassuring and has a great bedside manner!! m

I saw Dr. Giaccobe throughout my entire pregnancy and she was absolutely amazing. I couldn’t have asked for a better provider. This woman seriously knows what she’s doing. The entire staff here is pretty awesome and super nice. I was incredibly nervous the entire time I was pregnant and everyone I encountered during the ultrasounds, checks & monitoring were just so reassuring and just totally pleasant to be around. I actually miss going every week. For you new mommas wondering what to expect, it was sometimes tiring towards the end going in every week when I was huge, but it was worth it. I have two beautiful, healthy babies (born 36 & 6, we made it!) I never really encountered a long wait time, although it was sometimes crowded when people would bring their entire families (when you bring 8 people with you to an appointment and you see 2 or 3 super prego women standing, you should probably ask your uncle Bob to give up his seat. Just saying.) But thankfully, the staff is pretty darn quick & it’s a good size waiting room. I felt like we were in good hands the entire time. Oh & the front desk gals, you girls are great! I worked up until I went into labor, lol, but these gals were always able to get me in around my crazy schedule. Big high five to you ladies!
Overall, I had a wonderful experience here! Thank you guys for being amazing!

Dr Wold has been great with me, I am about 6 months along now with my first and he is always pleasant and professional with me. The desk girls and the ultrasound girls are always very nice and while it does sometimes get busy they definitely put some pep in their step to get everyone in and out in a timely fashion but while giving you the best service. I have never had any problems with billing but that is probably because I have full coverage Medicaid at the moment so everything is covered. But I’m very happy with my service at this facility

Been here since January 2015 and I’m about to deliver our firstborn. Throughout the journey, I’ve been treated by Dr Pierce and Brandee. Both have been really kind and caring. I always feel comforted whenever I have questions. They answer promptly and are reassuring. The staff in general are such a pleasure to be around. Facilities here are top notch and comfortable. Worth every penny!

I was here for the first time last week, I was referred here due to my twin pregnancy might be mono/​mono, which is extremely high risk. I had only need to wait for about 10 mins, the ultrasound tech was just awesome, you can tell that she’s extremely knowledgeable and she’s the fastest single hand typer I’ve seen. She found the separating membrane between the twins right away, so we are having modi twins, which is much a much less risky pregnancy for me. Doctor Shah was also extremely nice and professional, he also performed an ultrasound on me to take a quick look at the babies. He answered all my questions, seemed a little conservative at times, but I understand after seeing so many women go through complications, he just wants me to be extra careful! I was there for more than an hour, and I was seen by either the ultrasound tech or the doctor the whole time. The longest actual doctor appt I’ve ever had, normally doctor would see me for like 5 minutes.

I am 44 years old and due to my age I was told by my regular OB that I needed to have a high risk doc. I chose Dr Wold as my high risk care provider. I am 2 weeks away from my due date and can not say enough about the wonderful care we have received not only from Dr Wold but his entire staff. From the genetic counselor in the beginning to the friendly reception staff to the ultrasound techs to Dr Wold himself we have never walked away disappointed.

Appointment was for 12:46, called to confirm on morning of appointment & was told 12:45 pm but to be here at noon to fill out paper work.
I arrived around 11:30 am, finished paper work and was taken back to see genetic counselor about 1pm. After meeting with the counselor, I was sent back to waiting room. I waited, and waited, watching several people be called back. Finally went to check in desk to ask why I was still waiting. Was told my appointment was not until 2pm. I reminded them that I had called to verify my time & was told to be here at noon for a 12:45pm appointment to fill out paper work. They said that was to meet with genetic counselor… What??? No one ever mentioned that my appointment would be broken into 2, parts. They dropped the ball, over-​scheduled & now tried to blame it on me. Very upset but because I needed to make sure my baby was OK, there was nothing I could do.

I was surprised to read others say the wait was long, we never waited more than 15 – 20 minutes! After being sent here twice during my pregnancy, I found it to be a very comforting place. The doctors were very understanding of my concerns and super sweet. Everything that was done was explained to me in advance and detail! I highly recommend this for anyone who may need a high risk center!

While the wait was very long, I can understand why… Dr. Giaccobe is awesome and willing to answer any and all questions that you have. She’s empathetic and very blunt, which I appreciate greatly.
The ultrasound equipment that is used is top notch and Patty, our u/​s tech explained everything in detail that was going on on the screen.
Additionally, I really liked the front desk staff (they also perform check out) and they kept me aware of what my co-​pay would be ahead of time. I would say that the only downside would be the nurse that called me back. I wish she had been a little friendlier, but still, it was not the worst I’ve experienced.
Overall, I am looking forward to my next visit and wish they did the actual prenatal/​delivery care instead of just side by side with my regular doctor.

I have been referred to this location from Nellis and so far I love it! My daughter is measuring on the small side which has caused some concern. So I am being seen here for weekly monitoring and ultrasounds. I don’t really have a specific doctor just yet since I am still being seen at Nellis, but the staff has been awesome. Everyone is really friendly and makes me feel comfortable. One of the front desk ladies even helped me book a months worth of appointments all at once so that I do not have to worry about driving to a further location.
Another huge plus is that they allow children in the monitoring room. Normally military hospitals do not allow children during appointments especially during ultrasounds. With that being said I am really grateful! I will say though some parents need to learn to keep their children a bit more quite. I say this because their children might ruin it for the rest of us lol.

Dr Stephen Wold is a Dr that far surpasses those in his field! He is now my high risk doc for my THIRD baby & the only reason I have even the first child is thanks to him. He stepped in with his partner & delivered my baby girl, in an emergency c-​section when my regular ob-​gyn failed to show after being paged all day! You can rest assured he will always do what’s best for mom & baby! He’s a Dr who truly cares, in a field where that’s hard to find anymore!

This location for high risk pregnancy is nice. Took awhile to get there since its in the middle of the boon docks. The appointment was very early so we were in and out.
Im glad it was early because when we got out of the room the waiting room was full of people. So maybe go early and leave early.

Very cool place. They use some of the best ultrasound equipment out there (Philips HD-​15s), and they have a pretty nice monitoring area for non-​stress tests. I think that overall, it’s a wonderful office. Wonderfully nice staff too.
I think that the only thing I would probably recommend is that if staff is sick, to not have them work. Pregnant women usually have a lowered immune system and that probably isn’t a good idea (one of the ladies in checkout seemed to be getting over a cold or something).
The other is to have a separate waiting area for sick pregnant women. Again, citing the fact of lower immunity, it’s probably a better idea to have this separation.
