I thought I reviewed this place and posted pics but I guess I didn’t. We came here because my friend told me about the Surf and turf sliders.(lobster, filet and mushrooms) so delish. They have a unique menu. Various cocktails. The servers were very friendly. It’s located in the vdara, the hotel looked pretty cool. And I also saw the bartenders serving up some cool mules.

Always excellent service here, and they have a fabulous wine list encompassing many labels and varietals you won’t see in most other Vegas bars. Great bar snacks, and the bites menu is super delicious and satisfying(see pics).

Pretty decent drink prices for Vegas and their seasonal signature cocktail wasn’t bad either. Staff is pretty attentive as well. My friend had the chicken and waffle sliders with Gouda and bacon and really enjoyed them. I opted for the bacon wrapped dates, stuffed with blue cheese. Perfect mix of savory and sweet. 7 bucks a piece for each during happy hour made this a cheap and delicious spot when we needed a quick bite and drink before heading out.

Either I had a really bad luck or I have a very bad taste in cocktails, because not even one out of four drinks I tried there seemed good to me. The lounge itself is very nice. It’s located just off the lobby, so it’s easy to spot and a great place for before party prior to going to the clubs. You can seat in a dimly lit room or on a large patio. The staff was nice and attentive, prices mediocre for Vegas and the wait time not overly long. The sofas seemed comfortable and we had a pleasant time sitting there and drinking. If only my Cherry Bomb or Gin Berry were any good…

Dessert only review. We were staying at the Vdara and passed by this lounge for a quick drink. I happen to get dessert. It was decent but I wished some of the donut holes were not filled. Oh, these were also called beignets on the menu but it was NOTHING like a beignet! They are donut holes with chocolate filling! It was alright. Not what I was expecting at all. Service is great though!

This is the bar I’ve been looking for in Vegas! I go to Sin City frequently(3 times this summer) and I often just want to be able to have a cocktail and appetizers without all the smokers. Yes, I realize I am in the wrong city for a smoke-free experience, but I love everything else about Vegas. My friends and I made it a point to grab a drink from Vice Versa since we were staying at Vdara and I loved every minute of it. Our server was awesome! She had great recommendations from the menu and I couldn’t be more pleased with my selections of the Sunset in Moscow, Lobster Tacos and Surf & Turf Sliders. Everything was delicious and I can’t wait to stay at Vdara and enjoy some drinks here again on my next trip to Vegas.

the quality of food is not that great and most of the dishes are fatten, greasy, clogged artery type. they do not offer liposuction. since they are under staff, it took a while to get order and hot food arrived cold. they need to retrained managers. there is nothing to do at this hotel. they need to add a high end restaurant or bigger bar lounge for night events. the current bar is so, so, so small. the best part of this place is no, smelly smokers!!! hurray!!!

I ordered my first legal drink here and it was delicious! We stayed at the Vdara for my 21st birthday and the Vice Versa Lounge is conveniently located in the lobby of the hotel. The bartender was very nice and made me a delicious Sunset in Moscow. The menu featured cocktails that will suit anyone’s taste. My brother, a whiskey on the rocks kind of guy, ordered the V Espresso Martini and said it was his new favorite cocktail. My mom tasted a few wines and settled on a nice Chardonnay. My friends ordered and enjoyed a classic Moscow Mule, Texas Mule, and Rosés are Red. The décor inside the lounge and on the patio is very clean and elegant looking, but not pretentious. At midnight early Thursday morning, there were only five or six other groups. About 22 hours later, on Thursday evening around 10pm, the place was packed. It’s seems like a popular but casual place for groups to meet up before hitting the strip. It also serves as a quiet nightcap location for Vdara guests later in the evening.

Super chill environment between the hotel and the circular driveway blockaded by ficus trees… I enjoyed the ambiance and loved the acoustic music being played. The TEXASMULE is the drink of the night!!!

Pretty simple review here. Just another lounge lost in the sea of lounges In Vegas. Came here pretty much because I was staying at the Vdara. Just a low key lobby bar where you can grab a drink. Prices were pretty standard($ 14 for a cocktail)…although drinks were good. Overall, nice place to have a drink but not one I’d go out of my way to go to…

New menu is amazing! I went 4⁄2015 and our server was great! Everything we tried was great! Atmosphere was great! I can’t recommend this place enough! And the spicy margarita was the best I’ve ever had. The unique cocktails were my favorite. When I go back to Vegas it will definitely be my go to spot, even if I don’t have myvegas points!

This is a good bar with interesting cocktails. I had the Moscow Sunset and it was great, served in their«Mule» copper mug chuck full of ice and tasty grapefruit vodka.

This is just for the bar it self at Vdara and not the hotel itself. Came to bar Vdara on Valentines day since we’re staying at the hotel and decided to just come for appetizers and small eats. My boyfriend and I sat outside and we ordered the flat pita bread with cheese and the calamari. The flat bread was very delicious but as for the calamari it was a disgrace. I don’t even know what it was actually. My first bite I took out of the calamari was rubbery and chewy of some sort. I can’t believe they serve that and nobody has complained! As for the service here at bar Vdara it sucked. The only time we got service is when they took our order and gave us our crappy appetizers. When we finished our water we waited for about 10 minutes to see if any of the girls would come by to see how we were doing but nobody came to check on us. After 20 minutes of waiting we had to go up to the girls that were just talking and asked if we can please have a refill on the water and then we were told someone would come by and bring it to us. Yah they brought it over 15 minutes later. This place is a joke. Don’t come here. Just stay at the hotel for the rooms and go anywhere else for food.

«Thank God Keanu Reeves was there to get us out!» — Will & Grace: Season 4, Episode 18 So many hotels and casinos and bars in Vegas — so take your pick. But for me, being in a bar and hotel with NO smoking was truly refreshing. But beyond that, an actual bar and Vegas that did not look at me like I had two heads when I asked for a cocktail that contained Ginger Beer. So I met with some friends who were staying at the Vdara and this is currently the only open bar at the hotel. It is just off the lobby and then they have a large patio(which I did not realize initially) and a good sized indoor area. I was just hanging out until the bartender, Michael, asked me what he could get for me — he said he could make anything. I laughed and asked if he had Ginger Beer and he held up a bottle. Doing his best Keanu Reeves impression(no seriously, he looks just like him), I asked for a Moscow Mule. He told me he had a version of one they feature using muddle strawberries and I said«sign me up.» I watched Keanu muddle the strawberries, a housemade simple syrup, Ginger Beer and Grapefruit Vodka all over crushed ice. They were so refreshing and delightful, I had two. I needed to head back over to my hotel for a bit to make a delivery, so after I came back and had 4 more(but who is counting?) When one of them did not taste right, Keanu took it back and remade it immediately and it was never on my bill. He apologized saying that the citrus bottles must have gotten switched. He tasted the offending cocktail and agreed it was too sweet — but the fact that they fixed it so quickly made for a better experience. We ended our night spending a few hours on the patio and our waitress took excellent care of us — keeping the bar snacks and drinks coming — all expertly craft by Michael(aka Keanu). I tried to call him Michael, but what can I say, the guy preferred his new nickname. I do love a bar that knows how to craft a quality cocktail and treat its patrons with respect and great service.

********************* 1248 ********************** This was my first time step in the Vdara hotel. The reason, they have no casino :-) If it wasn’t for a client meeting, I wouldn’t come here and know about this bar at all. Bar Vdara was small and casual, I like the outdoor sitting, outdoor swings, light-enhancing sculptural screens and a curved reflecting pool, make it all somehow special and romantic in a way. They have this Happy Afternoon Hour, which offers featured seasonal cocktails, small plates for $ 8, craft beers and fine wines are $ 7. Monday — Thursday from 11:00 a.m. — 3:30 p. m, I know odd hour right! Tried the Housemade Risotto Arancini-Sautéed Mushrooms, Slow-Roasted Meatballs, Jalapeño Bacon-Wrapped Chicken Bites were all quite nice. Try their cocktails: FRENCH«RED» 75 Bombay Gin, Fresh Lemon, Aperol, Pomegranate Juice and Brut Champagne and SUNSETINMOSCOW Belvedere Pink Grapefruit Vodka, Fresh Strawberry and Ginger Beer Served Over Crushed Ice, both were very good and strong. Since Vdara doesn’t have a casino, it’s a smoke free hotel. I finally enjoyed breathing fresh air for a change in Las Vegas.

Great spot to enjoy a quieter vibe and the patio, which has a pleasant water feature! I’ve attended a few events here, with sponsored drinks, and some are featured on the bar’s menu. They offer a nice variety of speciality drinks, and my faves have been the more martini style drinks versus the fruity, sweeter varieties. But they have something for everyone! There are a few different seating areas and some very comfy couches/love seats. Although I prefer to enjoy their drinks & atmosphere along with a sponsored bar, I wouldn’t be against stopping here with visitors while touring CityCenter.

After arriving at Vdara, we decided to explore the bar and drink menu. Good selections of vodka, gin, bourbon and whiskey. But if you are in the mood of a sweet drink, definitely a must try is the Black Dragon. The berry rum with the blackberries is such a guilty pleasure. The Strawberry Splash was another drink of choice. Hands down very freshly made given the muddled strawberries, yet not as sweet as the Black Dragon, but a good contender. Any drink with muddled fruit deserves a try, given the extra effort put into making the drink. As for service, the waitress was very attentive and assured that are our glasses did not run empty.

After a weekend involving Hakkasan and two visits to Marquee, my girlfriend and I were on the hunt for a bar that focused less on the«untz-untz» factor and more on a sort of laidback, breezy vibe. We were quite fortunate to find our into Bar Vdara while taking a stroll through CityCenter! Tucked away near the front lobby of the hotel from which it takes its name, this bar offers plenty of comfortable seating and a solid selection of the day’s sporting events on a number of TVs(sadly, without any sound — but that’s to be expected due to Bar Vdara’s centralized location in the lobby). Coolest of all is the trendy, contemporarily-styled outdoor area attached to the bar, where fans spin lazily overhead and cozy, Bond villain-style seating cushions may just lull you into a drunken snooze if you’re not careful. The extended happy hour at Bar Vdara(11am — 4pm, Monday through Friday) is just as convenient as it is practical. We wandered in with the intent of browsing through the drink menu… and ended up walking out pretty hammered. Our server was helpful and informative with her descriptions of the variety of beers on hand. It definitely seemed as though she could’ve used some help — at times it seemed as though she was serving every guest in the bar on her own — but she made sure to check on us regularly, even just to say that she’d be getting back to us as quickly as she could. It is worth noting that we dropped by pretty early in the day, so that may have had a great deal to do with the delays that we experienced. Although I can’t remember what craft beer I ordered, I do recall the relatively modest $ 7 price tag(especially considering just how dark of a beer I had requested) as being quite the deal in terms of Las Vegas drink pricing. Although only a handful of craft beers are made available at happy hour pricing, they’re served by the bottle, and you don’t feel like you’re being skimped on. In the interest of maintaining my buzz, I also ordered a Jack & Coke(also at discounted happy hour pricing!), which was served to me in a deconstructed, unexpectedly hip fashion(see photo). The fact that the drink hadn’t been mixed was a welcome surprise, as it allowed me to measure my own ideal ratio of liquor versus soda. Much like the way in which my drink was served, the sheer state of drunkenness that I experienced(thanks to guzzling on a near-empty stomach) came somewhat out of left field. Good stuff. I’d definitely come back to this bar again if I was looking to enjoy a more mellow environment to down a drink or two. My advice: don’t sleep on that extended happy hour — it’s just another Vegas excuse to be drunk before noontime.
