Sandy Van, Esq., managing member of Van Law Firm, graduated from University of Nevada Las Vegas with a B.S. in Managerial Finance in 2001. She was named one of the top attorneys in 2015 by Super Lawyers, 2014 Desert Magazine, 2014 Avvo’s Client Choice Award, and 2013 Nevada Business Legal Elite. She received her Juris Doctor degree from William S. Boyd Law School in 2007. Ms. Van has had the opportunity to extern for Judge Nancy Saitta (currently Justice Nancy Saitta of the Nevada Supreme Court) in the Eight Judicial District Court of Nevada. She also clerked for the Honorable David Barker, District Judge, Clark County, Nevada.

Ms. Van has practiced in Bankruptcy and District Court in areas of civil litigation, business litigation, real estate, deficiency issues, foreclosures, contracts, personal injury, collection, and bankruptcy. In the past she has practiced in Mortgage Banking Law. She also worked against many HOA firms and collection agencies in their collection activities. Ms. Van, is also a licensed Realtor as well as being a licensed attorney, she uses the knowledge that she learned in bankruptcy, collection law, HOA collection law, and foreclosures to assist homeowners in these difficult times. She has assisted homeowners in saving millions of dollars in negative equity and also assisted many homeowners in obtaining waivers of deficiency, and relocation assistance money. She has also assisted some homeowners with saving their credit while short selling their home while current. In addition, to helping the community with debt related issues, Ms. Van assists those who are injured in accidents.
