Total Eclipse Window Tinting

I had a wonderful customer service experience with Jason Stilz of total eclipse. The work is always fantastic, but I had to leave a review because the customer service will keep me coming back!

I used Nevada Sun Control &Security Film — A Total Eclipse Company for my home tint and security film and had a horrible experience. My installation was completed in June 2015 and has since started bubbling on the sides and corners.
The owner John is very unprofessional and would only replace one window when all but six Windows had issues. When I was making the decision to purchase he assured the install and film would be covered under a lifetime warranty which was very reassuring and made me choose his company.
When I contacted 3M to handle the issue on my own he hadn’t even registered the warranty to my properties address which he promised and according to 3M should always be done by the certified dealer. Instead he registered the warranty in-​house which has caused issues and delays with me taking advantage of the warranty.
I would not recommend working with this company. John was extremely hard to get a hold of and was consistently late and made me chase him for answers after the sale.

We used Nevada Sun Control and Security Film — A Total Eclipse Company for a house in Las Vegas and the installation job was horrible. The owner John Rana is also someone I would never do business with again.
Hes impossible to get a hold of and does not do a very good job of educating his clients on exactly what they will be receiving.
I uploaded pictures of the installation so you can see for yourselves. The owner John Rana stood behind all of them and didn’t see any issues.

Amazing service. Great quality. For window tinting done on my Range Rover and only took about 20 minutes. Would definitely recommend their service.

I bought a pre-​owned Volvo that had a bad «do-​it-​yourself» hacked tinting job on back windows. Jesse recommeded an appropriate tint color to the back windows and also took off the dark tint to the front windows for an affordable price. I appreciate the professional service and high quality of their work. 5+more stars!

I got a quick appointment and my car was tinted in a couple hours and a great job. Guys that work there were knowledgeable and very nice.

While in Vegas visiting with my Fiancé who purchased a new car. We were recommended to total eclipse by our dealership. We called them and got a same day appointment! Awesome! The shop was very clean and the staff was very friendly and informative. The tint job was very clean and they had us out and on our way in about a hour and half. Great job Total Eclipse!

I forgot to check in last week when I had my second car tinted. These guys do an amazing job. The original tint I had on my car was filled with bubbles and was beginning to fade. My car is a 2010, the tiny shouldn’t have been that horrible.
Thanks to these guys my car tint is nice and dark! I added a uv protection to my windshield as well, best idea ever.
I cannot highly recommend anyone else but this company. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic service and great quality! They are very professional and the quality of the film used to tint my vehicle was excellent. I def recommend this place over any other place around the area. I will be coming back in the future.

This is the third time I used Total Eclipse and couldn’t be more happier!
When i walked in I was greeted and my car was taken back within 20 minutes. The wait is the normal, but the quality of the work and tint is way I keep coming back.
Just like other reviews you pay for what you get and this shop tints for high end dealership, so why not pay the money and get high quality tint.

BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!
Took my 2014 Challenger SRT8 to them, with 1067 miles on the car, to have some upgrades done to the transmission. The shop manager, Jason, said the work would not be a problem for his «transmission mechanic».
My wife dropped me off to pick up the car. I went in and paid for the work. The car was still on the lift and I was unable to drive it home this day because the install was not done correctly. I picked the car up two days later, I had another engagement that precluded me from picking it up the next day, drove it home (13 miles) and put it in my garage. Later that day took the car out and got not even ¾ of a mile from home when there was a loud dull grind and the check engine light came on. I made a u-​turn and took the car back home. I let Jason know right away what happened. He said he would send a tow truck down on Monday morning to pick the car up.
Monday the car was picked up just before noon. I told Jason to have the mechanic drop the transmission pan and check the magnet as I was concerned about the dull grinding and the lack of transmission fluid they put in the car when they had it. He assured me that he would have the mechanic check everything.
I picked the car up two days later and when I did I asked Jason what the pan and magnet looked like. He told me that both were clean. I drove the car home, another 13 miles, and parked it in the garage.
The car sat in my garage for three days before I took it out again. The next time I drove the car I was between 5 & 6 miles from home and the transmission completely died (with 1113 miles on the odometer). Leaving me stranded in traffic, Friday evening, on Blue Diamond highway. While waiting for a tow truck that I called I phoned Jason, leaving him a message, and texted him. Neither were replied to by him. I did the same several more times over the weekend and never heard back from him until he texted me Monday morning. I told him that I would call him right away. He, Jason, would not answer my calls. We went back and forth texting, which will be to my benefit later for court, with him telling me that they installed everything correctly and if something is wrong it is because of the parts installed were faulty. He was saying all this without ever seeing or looking at the car. During these texts he did text me that the mechanic never dropped the pan nor check the magnet, when it was towed there before, he only checked the fluid. Later that afternoon when my wife came home from work I had her call the shop just to get Jason on the phone so that I could speak to him. He continued with the they did everything right and it has to be the parts were bad so it’s between me and the parts manufacturers. Jason texted me, almost at the end of the workday, telling me that he would send a tow truck down in the morning to pick the car up and they would now look at it. I told him that he had his chance, all day, to do this. I was not that stupid to now let them have the car back so they could take it apart and just say that it was the parts fault then leave me to deal with the part manufacturers. I was having it towed to the dealer for an unbiased diagnosis.
Over a week later from when the transmission died, I still do not have a complete diagnosis and am out $ 3000.00 so far.
Take you business elsewhere… anywhere else because this shop certainly does not stand behind their work!

I came here to have my windows tinted for my Optima and had a wonderful experience. Jason was extremely friendly and knowledgable. The price was right and the tint only took about 45 minutes to get done! They turned out great! The place was also very nice and tidy (which is oddly important to me) and I felt very comfortable while waiting. I would definitely recommend Total Eclipse to any of my friends and family looking to get their tint done.

Got my tint done a few months back, and they did an amazing job. Now, decided I need a glare strip put on to help eliminate the sun from my eyes when driving during the days. Can’t imagine ever driving a car without tint, the most worst thing ever. The amount of heat it rejects. This company uses a great grade of film, not the $ 99 cheap film. They give a reasonable price and now I see they do oil changes next door. Awesome, one stop shop!!!

These guys didn’t just do an awesome job they also got me in early and finished early!

BEWARE!!!
I used Total Eclipse to have a window re-​tinted because the tint had been on the car for 7 years and was peeling.
They did the work quickly, and within about 45 minutes I was out of there with a freshly tinted window on my Lexus. They told me to wait at least 3 days before I rolled down the window. To be safe, it was more than a week before I rolled down the window.
About three weeks later I rolled the widow down and hear a crunching noise, and when I rolled it back up there was about a 4 square inch area that was peeled and folded up and would clearly get worse.
I took it back in immediately and the guy at the counter recognized me immediately. I told him I was just there and he said «Ya the Lexus right?» so they clearly knew I had been there. He had one of the managers come out and look at it.
The manager took a look and said it needed to be replaced and asked me for my receipt. I looked around and couldn’t find it but told him I was just there a few weeks ago and the guy at the counter remembered me. He said that without a receipt he won’t fix the window because I can’t prove that I had the work done there!
So I told him that the guy inside remembered me and that they had to have a copy of the receipt inside and he again said if I didn’t have «my copy» he wouldn’t warranty the work.
So I drove away with a damaged window tint and the crappy job that they did will now have to be redone by someone else, who will hopefully stand by their work.

Great place! Got me in immediately to get my two front windows tinted on a new car I just bought. Wasn’t even there for a half an hour before they finished my tint. Only $ 80, and looks perfect. Friendly guys, all around great company. Definitely recommend!

First time dealing with Total Eclipse, called to find out their prices for 5 windows. They told me to come down and I did with no appointment. Overall work time came out to be just a little under 45 min. Found the work to be pretty good. I’ve gotten my vehicles tinted at other places and found this one to be the most pleasant. Good job total eclipse.

I am so happy with the tint job that I received from the folks at Total Eclipse! I got my 4 door sedan windows tinted in the summer months of 2008 and I am happy to report that it looks just as beautiful as the day it was done! No bubbles or discoloration, which a lot of my friends have experienced going to other places. It was an easy, quick, and an affordable process that I STILL remember, that’s how awesome it was.

Had a couple tint jobs done here. Results very mediocre both times. Numerous small bubbles in all windows and at least one scratch/​gouge (visible from five feet away) in all windows. Had one redone by them and results were basically more of the same. Price was ok. Therefore the rating for these guys is «ok.» They did have a wide selection of tints which was nice.

The VW looks good and I’ve posted some pictures, 15% Llumar. Only reason for 4 stars is it took them from 11 — 5 to complete a 2 hour job otherwise the job quality gets 5 stars!
