I used to be a regular here but it came under new ownership a couple of years ago. The new staff insisted I didn’t qualify for the cheap oil change. I relented and paid more. It kept getting more expensive every visit so I stopped going a year ago. Not recommended.

Fellow Las Vegas residents! STAY AWAY FAR FAR AWAY!!! This place is a total scam. Check this story out! I took my moms 2006 Nissan Altima in for a smog check and AC recharge. It was time for the regular smog check from DMV so that was cool. The AC started to blow hot air after about 10 mins of driving. So i take it into Super Lube on 7185 W Sahara and these guys tell me it needs AC recharge and it had a leak in the «high pressure» line and new compresser (just like what they told Anne M on 7÷18− see her review too) cost would be $ 1361.54. I said nevermind, just give me the smog. The mechanic and some lady start arguing in the back office for 10 mins speaking in another language (middle eastern i think) Then 5 mins later some lady (possibly the wife) comes and asks me «What if we can do it for $ 900??))) WTF? They are straight ripping people off here left and right! So i take it into the dealer, ALL IT NEEDED was FREON! They charged me $ 59.99 and it works fine now! BEWARE OF THIS SCAM ARTIST FAMILY RUN AUTO REPAIR SHOP!!! You guys should check the recent prior reviews! They are scamming everyone! This business will be closed down in a few months they are TERRIBLE SCAMMERS!

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
It sucks that my opinion of car places is so low, but this company (aka «joke shop) is another shining example of why. All I wanted was an oil change and air filter for my Chevy Sierra — super simple and straight forward. The oil was changed, I drove away, and then noticed on the invoice that there was no air filter. Was I charged for one? Yes I was. Was it in the truck? No it was not.
I call the number and the front desk lady said «We don’t do air filters». Really? At a «Complete Auto Repair Station» like it says on your coupon flier? I turned around, went back, walked right up to the tech, and said «You said you would give me an air filter.» He tried to make some stupid excuse about the lines of communication being crossed between him and the receptionist and that she didn’t mean to say they don’t do air filters. Yeah dude, whatever, just give me the filter I already paid for.
So he’s about to change the filter (with a cylindrical filter — mine is FLAT) when I tell him «Oh I’m going to need the old one too, and I’m going to stand right here while you do it.» All of a sudden he’s like «Oh my mistake, this is the wrong one, I’ll have to order the right one from the parts store…»
He was not going to change my filter at all! Liar! Scam! Cheat! I totally caught him in a lie and he knew it! He then proceeded to show me my air filter and say it doesn’t need to be changed after all, that it’s in good condition. He offered me a credit for a future oil change and I said «Just give me my money back, I’m never coming back here again.»
I got home, checked the truck’s oil to see if it was actually changed at all, and low and behold — it’s LOW. New but way lower than it’s supposed to be.
Lying, loser car guys. If you love your car, don’t go here. Like a former reviewer, I too will be writing the BBB.

I guess my experience was the same as other other Unilocalers in some ways, but in other ways very positive.
I took my car there to get a smog check. Which they are required by law that if there is a mechanical failure of any sort or leak they can mark mechanical failure on the smog check. (I had a similar issue in California so Skip Barstow for a smog check if you have Cali plates). So, I know it wasn’t bs what they were telling me.
What they did say was that I had a leaking radiator. I thought at first they were lying but I saw alot more dried radiator fluid than before. Just seeing fluid on top wasn’t enough to convince me. You have to know your car!
I called around for prices. Which some were 2.5 times as much. I told them my schedule for the rest of the day. Which I got stuck in traffic. They said before that they are gone at 5:30. I kept them informed that I would be a little late and they waited for me. He showed me the new parts (I took pictures of the old ones before they replaced it of certain traits to ensure it was replaced). I know they would have had to replace the thermostat besides it had fresh compressed sealant.
The mechanic took the time with a flashlight to show me everything.
The only thing I am not sure of is one of the fans not running, but I don’t think it ever did.
Of course cleanliness, they could have washed down the engine of the fluid so the engine doesn’t burn it off. ****Reason it is not a 5 star****
I would recommend if being clean is not as important as price.

Decided to try this place for a inexpensive oil change. Had a coupon. After oil change. An Employee wanted to go over issues with my car. Recommended services totaling $ 680.00 after deciding to go to my mechanic. Discovered I needed Less than 50% of these services. The Oil change was a good deal. Beware of extra work. I doubt if i would return.

I signed for them only to do an oil/​filter change. When I left and came back 15 minutes later, they added extra services that I did not ask for and told me I had to pay for them. I told them I only have money for the oil/​filter change, and that I did not approve these services to be done. I asked them to wait for someone to come and help me with the payment, but they closed up shop and kicked me out, threatening to call the cops and press charges for trespassing if I didn’t leave.

Here’s the complaint I sent to the BBB (Better Business Bureau)
The manager is mixing 1 problem with another on different occasions. I had all my fluids changed and at that particular visit I asked about why my car was always shaking and that it had been shaking a very long time I just never had the issue looked into. It was inspected and I was told that I needed a FRONT engine mount. I specifically asked about the other mounts and I was told they are fine and I do not need them replaced. I said are you sure? He said yes. He gave me an estimate for the engine mount and I told him I think I can get it cheaper and is it ok if I bring in the part myself. He said yes no problem. I brought it in about 2 months later. It was installed and when I got in the car (before driving off the property) it was still shaking. I asked why? This time the manager/​owner looked at it and said I need the other mounts changed too? I got upset and said that’s NOT what I was told and I could’ve bought the whole set the first time, and why did I have to ask about the car still shaking? It seemed to me that he wasn’t going to tell me that the problem hadn’t been fixed. I was also told I needed a belt tensioner and it was ON MY PAPERWORK that it was recommended. So I bought a set of all 4 mounts (since this way he couldn’t say I now put stress on just the new front engine mount) and I bought a tensioner as well. I had it all installed paid for extra labor AGAIN that I could’ve basically done just the first time. When finished the shaking was completely gone. However over the course of the next few days I had now noticed a high pitch squeal that increased the more I accelerated. When returning to the shop, the same gentlemen that did my fluid change and installed my mounts, drove me with and said it sounded like a pully or possibly a belt. The manager again this time decided to inquire about my car and he too test drove it and didn’t continue to look at any pully or belt and started to inquire about transmission, and then saying I had specs of metal in it and recommended I goto a transmission specialist. When I got home I looked up how serious an issue is with metal flakes and found it’s quite normal. After taking my car to another shop to have the squeal looked at, I was told I need a new serpentine belt and that even though I have a new belt tensioner installed, it’s a bad one. (which I know things like that can happen) I told him where I got my work done and he said yea you can see that the belt is flapping. Gee if he had actually spent a few minutes letting the original guy continue to inspect the belt or pulley he might’ve found the issue instead of jumping over to a transmission issue. The ONLY thing I looked up online was the prices for the parts that I were told to get (which the manager didn’t like that I did and it’s not up to him on where I find my parts for the prices I want) and I looked up how serious an issue metal flakes are in transmission fluid based on HIS comments. I never diagnosed anything on my car, that’s why I brought it to super lube to look at. This shop used to never be like this with the old owner/​manager and it’s unfortunate that it’s like this now. Why let me pay and find out for myself that the car is still shaking and then having him take a 2^nd look at it and tell me oh the other mounts need replacing. Wouldn’t you notice this while you’re installing the 1 engine mount and stop and say hey, it’s probably not a good idea to take the time to just install 1 because you now need all 4 and you’re probabaly gonna still have the shaking. NO THEY DID NOT DO THIS!!! They installed it anyways and didn’t even test the car to see if it was still shaking and gave it to me to drive away with the original problem left unfixed. Thanks but no thanks. That IS bad business practices.

Terrible service, total scammers.
Alright, so my car has a small coolant leak — I know this, I’ve known since Big O told me back in June. They explained that it should be fixed eventually, but other than that, would be okay I would just have to add coolant ever now and then.
So towards the end of September I need a smog, I go to Super Lube Tune with the cheap coupon they have, everything seems to be going well, and then the guy who seems like the manager tries to explain that because the coolant is leaking, it’s heating my car up to excessive amounts, causing the rpms to go to high to pass the smog check, and that I need to replace the thermostat, the thermostat housing and so on.
So then I go to Auto Tech, somewhere I’ve been to before, and ask them to do a smog — they tell me the DMV system for doing smog tests is down across the valley! I go back to Auto Tech and pass the smog test without a problem.

My Honda needed an oil change, so I took it to Super Lube, Tune & Brake at the 7185 West Sahara Ave location. Depending on your luck, you may or may not have to wait long. For my last visit, I had to wait for one other car to be done before they did the oil change for me.
I think they did a solid job on the car. And with the promotional coupon they send out in the mail, which is only $ 9.98 + tax+ $ 2 hazardous waste fee. Not too bad on the wallet.
After the service, the mechanic that performed the service on my car also went over a list of services & maintenace that I might to consider: timing belt replacement, replace original hoses in the car, etc. I said I will consider that in the future, so I can check with my mechanic friend about their recommendations, which he said were valid.
The only grip I have is that they left greasy hand prints on my car, which is like a cook or chef that leaves a trail of mess i the kitchen. The skills to execute the job is there, but needs obvious refinement and attention to detail.
Overall, for the type of service I received and the price I paid I will give it a 4 stars.
Have not had other type of services performed here, so I can’t comment on that.
