History

Established in 2007.

After settling in Las Vegas in 1995, Donna opened her first dance studio, Desert Shores Dance Academy, which remained successful for over 12 years. In 2007 she decided to move locations and expand her business. She is now proud to present The Pointe Dance Center.

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Donna Frias began her dancing career as a young child. As a teen she became a member of the Fresno Civic Ballet Co. and performed with the Fresno Opera Association.

She went on to receive her Bachelor of Arts from the prestigious California Institute of the Arts. There she was hand picked to be in Bella Lewitzky’s Dance Co. This lead to tours all over the U.S. and abroad. Donna performed for the Civic Light Opera, Dorthy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, Madison Square Gardens in New York City and also performed in several television specials. She traveled all over the world performing with Los Gauchos Latinos with her husband and two beautiful daughters.

Donna is the permanent substitute for The Las Vegas Academy of Performing Arts.
