The Home Depot

This is for the service members. Came in this morning around 9am, and at least 4 people asked me if I was finding everything okay and if I needed any help. Everyone here is super friendly.

This people are a joke, all of they want is just walk around and don’t be bothered, and the rent a tool guy his name is jeff or josh something like that he is going to do the best to wayyyyyy over charged you for everything possible, and if you ask for a manager hahaha nobody knows who is it or where is it

I’m surprised by a lot of the reviews on here. Not doubting anyone’s back experiences but I’ve always had great luck at this store.

We had a day of getting random odds and ends trying to finish up our new home. A rude woman named Cheryl (?) or Sherry (?) (I only glanced at her name tag) did not help us find what we were looking for.
I asked to speak to a manager and a lovely woman came up to the front and I explained the situation that occurred moments prior and she apologized for our misfortunate experience. I said that I’m not usually one to complain but I thought that the woman’s attitude needed to be addressed. She was very nice and took care of us.
Overall, some items we went for weren’t there but the manager was very nice. :)

My experience couldn’t have been worse. From waiting in line for over an hour, to buying aquatic bathroom supplies, but the door they sold me doesn’t fit. I recommend going absolutely anywhere else. They are ridiculous…

Horrible customer service! Called the tool & truck rental department and got hung up on for inquiring about their truck service. Associate was an ass with an attitude. Don’t shop here. Called the manager and he was an ass too. This location can hold an L.

the only reason it gets 4 stars was due to Mary @ customer service… she was a gem. other wise it would have been 1 star. due to poor service from
Cario on the paint department horrible customer service and because he didn’t mix my paint correct I ended up with 2 different colors out of the same can.

This store is a waste of time. It’s impossible to find any employees on the floor for assistance. In the past I never had a problem at this store or getting help but lately that has changed. My last couple visits I’ve had to hunt down help and even then left empty handed because what I needed wasn’t in stock. I’ll stick to Lowe’s going forward. They may be a slightly higher but the customer service is worth it.

The closest option for things like screws, fuses, and filters I simply cannot deal with the layout of Home Depot — everything where it seems like it should be, but nothing easy to find on first glance… and rarely a clerk in site. Far be it for me to assume knowledge of the hardware world, but it just seems odd to me that it takes 3 dudes to mix a can of paint, cut a key, or anything short of lifting a giant appliance or piece of lumber but it seems as though these folks operate on the buddy system at all times.

This is the most horrible experience I had with the rudeness of a manager I will now only give lowes my business I’m a contractor that spent a lot of time and money at Home Depot I’m sorry I have done that in the past

Best paint department experience in the history of paint department experiences! I didn’t get the name of the man who waited on me (he was an older mustachioed gentleman…) but he was super nice and helpful! Didn’t cringe when I asked him to mix me 6 different paint samples, and he was very knowledgeable and accommodating. This paint dept is sooooo much better than the one closer to my home, so I drive all the way out here for the stellar customer service! Thanks!

I made the mistake of buying some major appliances through Home Depot. It has been nothing but a long series of problems. I won’t bore you with all of the details, but I will sum it up by saying that even getting a hold of someone in customer service is very difficult. I kept getting passed off to GE, the vendor, who could not help either.
There were issues with them trying to substitute a different model without telling, being out of stock for 3 weeks, but not telling me until the day before scheduled delivery. Then pushing it back yet another month. I received phone calls saying one thing that contradicted emails saying another.

I’m not sure about the rest of the year, but for Christmas this place is like Man Disneyland! I’ve been needing to get a few extra tools to carry in my vehicles. The specials they had here were very friendly to my wallet.
Screwdrivers, wrenches, leatherman multitools, Oh my!
The checkout cashier was very friendly and got me checked out quickly. My friends that went with me for some «White Elephant» shopping had a very hard time picking up an item to gift because everyone ended up buying lots of stuff for themselves.
Next time I’m looking for some tools I will be sure to check this store out!

I gave 3 stars, because I at least know my way around Home Depot, but the fact is they don’t acknowledge there customers and I don’t mean when you walk in and are greeted by a person who knows where everything is at and can tell you where to go, I mean by literally you can be in a open isle and standing there waiting for a moment to pass by and not one staff member there will be near the area.
Despite no one being there I had a question, so I went and requested to speak with a staff and another person in a different department said they would send someone over to the isle I was at, so I waited over 15 minutes and went back to the same department and said no one came after 15 minutes, so they called again, well this time I wasn’t going to wait 15 minutes I just waited another 10 minutes then just left.
They have employees sometimes just standing around not doing anything, but there are times when they do help, just not as fluent as they should be.
Yet staff there are polite and help you understand what your buying and which product that should be bought.

Home Depot lost their footing for the average person a long time ago when they obviously started focusing more on the contractor. As usual I could not get any help even though there was staff around talking to each other.
Among other things I bought large bags of potting soil and hefted them onto the cart myself as well as in my car. No offer for help the entire time I was there. At checkout I realized I forget something and I knew it was 2 isles over and there was an extra staff person standing there but did they offer to get it for me? Nope. I had to hold everything and dash for the item.
This is why I primarily shop at Lowe’s. Home depot may be a fraction cheaper but unless Lowe’s doesn’t have what I need… I would just as soon shop some place more welcoming.

Home Depot is the best store if you are involved in home improvments. Home Depot has everything you could need for any project. You can pretty much build a house from the ground up and find all of the material and tools you would need at their store. They also have a great garden center with everything you need for landscaping, gardening, and maintenance.
The best thing I like about Home Depot is that they sell Weber Grills. Weber grills are the best out door grills on the market for the money. I also prefer their Behr brand paint when I need to paint. It covers exceptionally well with one coat.

I am not a huge fan of Home Depot. I came here to get a replacement bulb that Lowes did not have.
I feel like this store is really dirty and they just don’t really take care of it. The people here are not that friendly and are hard to find when you need help.
I am pretty handy and do almost all of the things around my house. I think Home Depot workers like it better when the men come in for help. They always seem to disregard me when I come in and I hate that.
So I only come here if it is absolutely necessary. Today was one of those days.

Probably one of the most friendly Home Depots for sure. Everyone is always asking whether or not you need help and when you do need some help looking for something, they seem very much willing and knowledgeable (or am able to find the right person that has the knowledge base).
I’m more of a Lowe’s fan so this was nice to see from the usual Home Depot staffs in other states where they avoid you and act like they’re completely bored.
The only thing that keeps this place from being a top-​notch place is that they only keep one single register open which is on the far left side (over by the contractors area) and try to get you to use the self-​checkout area. While this is good to keep most of staff helping people in the store, placing the check-​out register so far from the self-​checkouts is a nuisance when you have larger items since the exit is also on the farthest end of the store.

However, on this visit I bought a lock for a side gate and I didn’t notice until I got home that it had already been opened and taped back together! So I opened it up and thought, well, maybe the person that returned it just thought it was too small/​too big. Nope! The keys to the lock were to big and didn’t fit the lock! Had to drive back and return the item. I went back to get another lock and picked up the same lock-​and they all had the same big keys so item was defective.
Why do they put returned items that are clearly unusable back on the shelf? Had to knock stars of this bafoonary!
