The Crossing Christian Church

Here tonight for part 1 of 2 for Mark Gungor’s seminar. Great date night so far. So insightful and funny! The staff at this church is very well organized and they provided complimentary snacks and coffee. Our toddler had movie night in their section and the little one we have now from the nursery, because she started to cry too much. They were short staffed. Regular Sunday service here is similar for the kids and Sunday school. The message is very good and easy to understand.

Oh My!!! Where should I start??? This is so terrible and sad… The guy who runs the teenage ministry at Crossing Church is Phil Hoover and he has no business being around young girls as he is a pervert. He is known at the AVN convention (the so-​called «Oscars» of the Porn Industry) because his wife Joy Hoover has an outreach program to porn stars at the AVN. According to accounts from various porn actresses, Phil Hoover had a suite at the AVN hotel every January for the past several years and paid porn stars to ‘entertain’ and ‘service’ him. Even worse, he paid them with money from Cupcake Girls which is the nonprofit run by his wife. The donations are supposed to go to help needy women in the adult entertainment industry and instead Phil takes the money and gets his jollies from porn stars using the charity’s revenue. This is awful indeed!

Pastor Lee gave a great sermon on ADOPTION yesterday, 27 February 2016. We visit The Crossing every time we are on Vegas.

What a wonderful church!!! When you define yourself based on being a child of God, saved through the Grace and Love of Christ, God will truly work in you and there are no limits! When you define yourself through the egotistic ways of the world, it will be very very hard to experience God’s grace. That was the message today from Pastor Lee. Doesn’t get any better than this. (sorry for comparing pastor Lee)

If you are looking for a place to worship & praise Jesus, The Crossing Church is for you. They say «come as you are!» It truly is a wonderful & friendly church. I love going there. It’s got a small church feeling with big church activities & groups. Just give it a try!!!

The Crossings is great. My wife and I really enjoy the atmosphere. They really know how to keep people paying attention. The people here are so welcoming and they pass no judgment. We always dress up to go to church but some people choose not to. If someone wears a hat or shorts no one turns their nose up at them. I love going to a church that accepts all Gods people as they are.
The only suggestion I would make to people thinking about attending is to arrive early so that you can get a seat on ground level.

Best church hands down! I have been attending the Crossing for over 5 years now. I always feel a aura of welcoming and peace. The messages are insightful and touching. We get LIFE lesson’s along with being taught the word of God.
Even if Christianity is not your choice, you cannot deny the powerful life lessons that Pastor Shane and Pastor Lee teach. How to be a better person, how to take turn your life to a more positive light. How to deal with hardships. A feeling of you are not alone.
Anyway, if you are looking for a welcoming church, or you need to just feel something, check it out for yourself.

LOVE this church! From the first time I walked into the door– The Crossings just felt different.
I wasn’t looking for a new church but when a friend mentioned to me that I should try The Crossings it was the best invitation.

I really love this church! I felt very welcomed and comfortable the first time I attended a service 4 months ago. Now I attend weekly, volunteer as guest services and get involved with the small groups.
I started reading the Bible 9 months ago and started listening to SOS radio, I heard that it was good to become part of a church community. I knew some people talking about The Crossing and just decide to go one day. I’m bumping into many people I know; many who had great values with their family and business. And I can see why, this church has a great mission and vision and they say «come as you are» because God seeks what’s in our hearts and not what we are wearing. Even if this church is 20 miles from my house and it takes me 25 minutes, it was one of the best decision I made. I find myself looking forward to attending the services and meeting like minded Christian people and friends. I was born Catholic and never had this same feeling of home at any church before.

FinaLLy opened my heart to The Crossing! God spoke to me thru Pastor Shane. Thank you for your boLdness and courage to speak the truth, by saying the things we don’t necessarily want to hear.

This Church is humongous! Plenty of seats to accommodate everybody. It was as if I was at a concert venue. Everybody around me was very nice. When the music played, I could feel the great spiritual vibe of the audience. The sermon was very uplifting and definitely something I can relate to.

Went here for the first time while on vacation and felt God the first song through. It’s only 15 minutes from the strip and so worth it. Have never felt God’s presence so greatly and would recommend to everyone.

I have been attending this church for the past 4 to 5 months and really enjoyed it till today. In fact today I have decided to longer attend this church. After the Supreme Court ruling on marriage I expected church’s to rise and support God teachings on marriage. For what ever reason today not a single word was spoken by pastor Lee in supporting God teaching at such needed time. I can’t support a church who apparently is more to staying PC than gods word

This church is amazing! Coming from a church that I was really no longer comfortable at, this place made me feel super accepted. The church continues to grow, so there are always new people! Their coffee shop is way cute and the drinks are really reasonably priced, too. Also, their services are very direct and modern– lots of music, videos & relatable topics. I love Pastor Shane and the whole congregation is very welcoming.

Driving past The Crossing on multiple occasions when we are on this side of town, we made it a point to come here one day, and Easter Sunday was the perfect time.
People in attendance were very friendly and inviting which made a great first impression.
The worship team led a great opening service that powerfully praised Jesus with each song which ultimately moved me to tears. The message that followed by the lead pastor was also great, remembering the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus, which is the true meaning of Easter Sunday, not about a bunny, candies, and Easter egg hunt, a part of another hidden «sugar coated» Osteen style Easter message we had heard the day before at another local church.
«Come as you are» is the motto here. Doesn’t matter what you’ve done, how you’re dressed, how much money you’ve got, or where you come from. Everyone is welcome through these doors. Tithing happens at the end of every service and we took communion in one of the neighboring buildings afterwards.
Another great thing to witness was the live baptismals that were taking place outside for those willing to take that bold step and surrender their lives to God. Even if you decide at the last moment you wanted to get baptized and didn’t come prepared, The Crossing has got it all covered for you from a towel and a dry change of clothes, they are ready and waiting for you!
Great first impression, and looking forward to attending another great service… ALOHA!!!

I knew from the moment I stepped into this church that it would be my home. Previous to the Crossing, I had attended the Calvary Chapel Spring Valley and although I enjoyed it, I didn’t truly FEEL it there. Every Sunday service I have attended at The Crossing, I have felt chills and have been moved to tears. It is a large comfortable space. The services are modern, stimulating, and are very enjoyable. My thirteen-​year old daughter has no complaint that there is not a youth service specifically for her age category as she is very comfortable attending service with me. I have not always been a religious person. The Crossing has helped me find my way without being pushy and without making me feel judged. I turned in a prayer request for a friend in dire need and I was taken aside immediately and was led in prayer. I love everything about this church and I love being a part of its growth.

We came here for the first time during their Easter Program.
It was a little confusing at first glance as to where the main entrance to the building was, as it is not a typical church building, but once inside, we found it to our liking and it’s another «come as you are» type of congregation which I am a fan of.
Thankfully we were on time because this place gets packed quick with the multitude of attendees and I can see why.
The service started with great music and the impressive team is composed of a couple of singers, violin, drums, piano and electric guitars which sounded amazing without loosing the nice worship sound. Great first impression!
The Pastor gave an amazing service and kept you interested from start to finish. He also adds humor without it being too much fluff.
We also witnessed baptismals out in the open and participated in communion which still impresses me and can’t wrap my head around how they prepare for so many people and several services in the same day, and make it look so effortless. Kudos to the volunteers and staff.
I came here simply by curiosity and because I consider myself to be open minded, and thankfully left wanting to come back.

The Crossing is my favorite place to spend a Sunday morning. Great message, music, and people. Come check it out… we’ll save you a seat!

1. Mission Trips: local and global
2. Singles ministry — just cool people living life together (not like «Hey baaabyy» more like, Christians in a healthy community).
3. Men’s Ministry: breakfast 1x/​month, men’s retreat, men’s events/​bible study etc.

The main reason we stay and love Vegas so much! Such a great church to be a part of for many reasons.
* It’s come as you are, I like how they acknowledge that nobody is perfect, we are all going through something, broken in some way so let’s join together and learn how to do life together the way God intended us to do
*Messages are from the bible and even though many many years ago, it still pertains to us now and they explain the stories in an easy way for us to understand how we can relate it to today’s world
*A place to go and feel refreshed and fed spiritually to help you get through the next week
*Great Kids programs, my kids love it! They do fun songs, activities and lessons. So thankful for the Wed night middle school and up session where they cover real life issues that teens go through. Blown away by how much they cover and offer these kids a safe place to open up and deal with struggles at that age.
*So cool you can get coffee and breakfast there before service starts… the church is very up to speed technically and socially wanting to make things as convenient as possible while intentionally having spaces for people to fellowship.
*Music is amazing! I always tell people it like your at a concert but it’s not over the top where you don’t feel like your at church. Good mix of upbeat and slow songs. When you feel like crying and don’t know why? Music can get you :)
*Even as big as it is, the pastors and other leaders are good about remembering who you are and as long as you stay connected, there are ways to feel apart of a big church. The women’s group annual Cookie Exchange and Spring Tea are pretty fun!
*It’s also great to be part of a church that does so much locally and all over the world. Also nice to know that if you ever fell into hardship they would be there to support you. On the flip side also there to support the happy times as well. They celebrate with you!
I just love this church and all the people that are in it. Has changed our lives and continues to teach us!
