We are a reformed congregation in Las Vegas, Nevada. We exist for the purpose of preaching the Gospel, believing the Gospel, and living with one another and the world by the implications of the Gospel.

History

Established in 1980.

In spite of a 7% annual population growth, the first megaresort soon to be under construction, and scores of relocating families now calling Las Vegas their home, the preaching of the historic Christian faith was conspicuously absent from the Vegas Valley. The Holy Spirit was not absent however, and He moved powerfully. A few of these Vegas Valley families began to ask the Lord to send a church planter into the desert metropolis where many others feared to tread: The glamorous Las Vegas, Nevada. The Lord answered their prayers, and Spring Meadows Presbyterian Church was brought into existence by the preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

By God’s grace it has remained faithful to the historic preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and continues to this day to equip Christians to know, love, serve, and worship the Lord Jesus.. Today, the Lord is in the process of calling his people together to worship Him, and we are blessed to share in this Great Commission by His grace.

Church Planter and Founding Pastor at SMPC. Tim received his Master’s Degree in Divinity from Reformed Theological Seminary, Jackson and has been in the pastoral ministry for over 30 years.
