My stylist Dawn, is great and I’m following her to her new location at Nina’s in Sun City. Unfortunately, Tangles is in the process of closing. So anyone interested in a great stylist with Dawn, check out her new location at Nina’s. I also recently used Donna as my nail tech — great job! She, too, has relocated to Nina’s. :) I will follow a good stylist ANYWHERE!

I am a brand new junior stylist at tangles hair salon, they make me feel like a family for working there ! They think about growing the business n really care the stylists working for them, no judging for being a new stylist provide with good educational service to make a client feel safe n relaxing by watching under Jennifer’s excellent potential skill n patience, n making the client felt like a million bucks ;) so come to tangles n come out like ur hair have never been so clean! My wife has been coloring her hair at home for years but has been thinking more and more about letting her natural white hair grow out. The problem with that idea would be the ugly two tone as the new color grows out.
«Tangles» to the rescue! We talked to the new owner Melina and asked her opinion. Who knew box color won’t strip out of hair the way salon color does. After much hand holding and a consultation with instructors at a color seminar we had a procedure that would work. Melina introduced us to our new hair stylist/​colorist/​miracle worker Jennifer Colucci.
I can’t say enough about Jennifer. Intelligent, talented, a true magician with hair. Oh did I mention, pretty easy on the eyes as well. Jennifer worked on my wife’s hair for three hours. When she finished the hair color was so much more than we were told. My wife’s hair now goes from her natural white hair and gently transitions to the color she had before she started turning white. This is a color we have been trying to replicate for years with store bought dyes.
My wife’s hair is so beautiful and it looks so natural. Just like its been slowly turning white for years. It is also as silky and soft as it has always been which was important to me.
The new cut is nice too. Jennifer didn’t cut much at all at our request but after having this cut my wife has decided next time she wants Jennifer to cut it short and layered. We saw Jennifer do some amazing styles while this process was going on and during our consultations.
We are now in love with «Tangles», Jennifer and all the girls. Apparently what we asked for is not easy and all the girls were coming over as much as their time would allow to pick up pointers, now that going grey is so in vogue with the young trend setters this is being asked for more and more.
By the way Unilocal says «Tangles» is closed. It most definitely is not.

If you want the best color and cut in Las Vegas, ask for Elle! My son is a high school senior and also likes the way she cuts his hair. Elle is very talented and not overpriced! I promise that you won’t be sorry, but will instead find that you need to look no further! Elle will be your hairstylist for life!

So, I went back to Dawn for a cut and went much shorter. She did the best job, I love it! I have gotten SO many compliments on it. My mom is going to see Dawn for a haircut because she loves mine so much.

Tangles is a nice mid-​range neighborhood salon — not ultra-​fancy, very high end and snooty, but not the haircare equivalent of Burger King. It’s modern and comfortable.
Gigi is my hairdresser, and she does a great job cutting and coloring my hair. Her prices are reasonable, and she’s quick to return calls so that I can schedule appointments. I tried a number of other hairdressers at other salons before finding Gigi, and now I’m here for the long haul.
Tangles has a good number of hairdressers of both sexes to choose from, and the shop caters to both women and men.
Good work, good prices, good availability. What more could I want?
