4-​STARS Don’t expect too much. Good for stay but don’t expect luxury.

My room number was 2110 and I stayed on June 22^nd 2016.
I gave this Motel 2 stars because it wasn’t completely disgusting. For example, I didn’t find any live bugs. One light bulb was out in the room, my bedding had cigarette burn holes in it, and one of the wall outlets did not work. But I did find was a room in which the air conditioning work great! The problem was, it made so much noise that it was difficult to sleep. They had no maintenance man on duty. It was Tuesday at about 11:30 p.m. Additionally, the shower head just kind of sprayed enough water to get wet. It was difficult to rinse off but possible. The water pressure out of the spigot was great, it was just horrible out of the shower head. The shower walls were old and it looked like the paint was peeling everywhere. The evening staff we’re not friendly, but they did their job. There was a woman in the morning who would not smile and was just downright rude.
There were a couple of positives. The pool seems nice, although I did not swim in it. They do serve a continental breakfast. I went inside and there were waffles, toast, oatmeal, fruit, and things of that nature. No eggs or potatoes or breakfast meat. And again, the air conditioning blow very cool. The only problem that it was very noisy.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. I wasn’t expecting anything special or nice, but at least a clean room not covered in other people’s filth. First off, the room is absolutely disgusting. Dirty floors, dirty toilet, grime and hair in the shower. Our comforter had dried cum on it which was horrifying. The drains do not work. After showering we were left shin deep in filthy water due to the fact the shower has probably never been cleaned. Half of the outlets did not work. We stayed here for 3 days and our room did not get cleaned once! We had to use the same towels for 3 days. I don’t even think the staff here knows how to clean based off of the room when we first arrived. I will never stay here again. $ 500 for 3 nights staying in a filthy hotel, no thanks. I do not even know how this place is open, absolutely no standards. After checking out they did not even ask us how our stay was because I’m assuming they know how vile and disgusting this hotel is. The 2.5 stars on Unilocal says it all along with the other 80 reviews talking about how gross this place is.

I am staying here for 3 nights and already am enjoying my time just because of the room. It’s so comfortable, clean, and the air works great. There’s a pool nearby, a mini refrigerator in our room, a flat screen tv, and a good sized closet. Location is great and is only a few minute walk from the strip. Definitely will be staying here again.

First off I just wanted to say I never complain! So this place is pretty cheap and close to the strip but… I was so disgusted to find my rooms bathtub full of hair and towels that were nicely folded also had hair. I checked in around 6 and notified them immediately. I spoke to the manager and she said she would have someone take care of it but she didn’t. I called again in the morning upset and asked if someone could please clean the bathroom .few minutes go by and room services comes upstairs and literally took under 5 minutes to «clean» the tub. There were long hairs still on the walls and we weren’t given new towels. The only thing that they cleaned with was a bucket and water … So this concerned me do they just throw water to clean these tubs? Do they wash the covers? I don’t understand why they can’t properly clean if someone is paying to stay at there hotel. When we checked out we didn’t get a sorry about your stay or nothing I just know that I’d rather pay the extra now to be taken care of somewhere else.

This hotel dignity that would pay less money. On the third floor in my room, the carpet is very dirty. and a strong smell of urine. I am Quickly change my room number… Some peoples decided to write on the carpet. Naturally this urine does not wash. Or maybe it’s the dog wrote on the carpet? Here are allowed to keep pets? The same way I know. that this Motel does not provide a hairdryer. night manager told me that they could not give me a hair dryer to blow dry my hair. I ask him what would change me old hair dry. Becouse since it broke. but he answered me. that they do not provide a hairdryer in the motel EVER!

Booked due to rating on hotel. Com. For a unexpected one night stay in LV. Do whatever you need to do not stay. See a loan shark, call your mother for money whatever you need to do. The dirtiest room I have ever reserved. We almost left even though non refundable (regretted we did not) Sometimes cheap = disgusting. Not sure what the white substance on the bed spread was or who the long black hairs on the bed sheets belonged
too.

The worst places I ever stayed! The hotel might look «ok» from the outside but the inside is horrendous. There’s tape on the carpet. The room smelted moldy. I didn’t even take a shower because of how it look (dirty). The bed was hard and uncomfortable. They mentioned that the room doors use a card system. However there is a gap between the door and the frame when you close it so anyone with another card can force the door to open, in fact someone tried to open the door twice. I called reception twice and no one answered the phone. They charged me taxes twice and they couldn’t even explain why. Overall, awful place to be.

The worst service I’ve ever seen. Firstly i got the keys from the reserved room. after that I got another (smoking) number –not which I’ve booked. No excuse, no discount, no good management service. the worst wifi connection. don’t pity the extra money and book another place.

Ok so I don’t normally like to leave bad reviews butt I feel as though this place deserves one. I reserved a room on
for this motel and there was no mention of the $ 14 per day resort fee! Apparently you need to do some digging into the taxes and fees link to find it even though when I researched other hotels all of them had the resort fees disclosed up front. Had I known about the resort fee I would have stayed on the strip and paid a few more dollars and it would have been worth it. DON’T STAY HERE!!!

Special arrangements for ground floor room not met when we arrived — ended up on 3^rd floor. Room was dingy, carpets not recently cleaned. The bathroom had hairs, soap build up, and actual grunge in shower that was easily wiped away!

Right after i left my post the manager contacted me right away i spoke with him over the phone. Explained my concerns and after talking with him. He made it right and i am very pleased how he handled the situation. I can say customer service was very good.

Super 8 generally allows pets without an extra fee, which is why we booked this place for a Christmas getaway with my wife’s mother and our cats. Nowhere on the website did it say anything contrary to the general policy, yet when we arrived, we were told «no pets.» Not only could we not get our room, but since it was already evening, they kept our deposit for a room we didn’t use. The clerk was rather unsympathetic to our plight as well, and made no attempt to help as I called around for another spot that would take us.
They avoid a one-​star only because they did provide my MIL with a pretty good experience, and the attached casino has a bargain prime rib restaurant.

I needed to book a night at this hotel due to unforeseen circumstances. I had read the reviews by other Unilocaler’s and decided to see for myself.
I called the 1800 number and requested a room for this specific location and was charged a $ 31.00 dollar deposit/​holding fee for my room. By the way there is a ten dollar a day resort fee. Certainly beats paying $ 20 – 30 per day on the strip right?
I arrived the following afternoon around 4:30pm and my room was available for check in. I was greeted by a friendly and efficient clerk by a man named Tony who told me about the Ellis Island coupons etc.
I was assigned to a room on the second floor that wasn’t very spacious, but it was flawless i.e. no bed bugs, everything was in its correct place, and the internet worked.

BEWARE!!!
The added (and only vaguely mentioned) «resort fees» that will be added to your bill can be more than half your total reservation price. This place is not a resort – and the property seems to be (dishonestly) trying to link itself to Eliis Island Casino – which is not really accessible unless you want to drive there.
Based upon a conversation with him, the General Manager is an obnoxious jerk who seems to be operating under the delusion that he works for the Waldorf-​Astoria rather than a Super-​8.
Shame on Super-​8 and Wyndham for not doing a better job of identifying this dishonest practice on their web-​site. There are other Super-8’s on the strip that operate honestly. Go there.

I was leery about going here. We went to Vegas to celebrate my friend’s 40^th birthday. I had gotten us a better room at the Residence Inn just off the strip for about the same price, but one of the ladies wanted to stay closer to the stip.
The check in time was supposed to be at 3:00. We got there about 2:30. It wasn’t ready. We came back at 3. Still wasn’t ready. They said 4:00. We came back then. Still wasn’t ready. We tried to pay for the room and the lady couldn’t figure out that we wanted to split the room cost between 2 people and since they charged us different amounts for Friday and Saturday nights. We had already been charged both rooms for Friday night on one of the cards and fixing this was so difficult it took another half an hour to get to our rooms. The did give us, buy one, get one free beers for next door, but we never used our coupons since we are not beer drinkers.
The floor in the bedroom was stained with maybe fingernail polish as it was bright pink. The floors in the bathroom were disgusting like they had never been mopped. The tub and shower was OK. I refused to walk around barefoot in the room. Beds seemed clean. Hotel staff delivered towels for our friends to our room, but the housekeeping staff was very nice. The hallways smelled of smoke something awful, but at least our rooms didn’t smell that way.
The «continental breakfast» was pitiful. Pre-​packaged cinnamon rolls, oranges and apples, oatmeal, cereal, toast, frozen waffles, and yogurt. We didn’t even go back on the second day.
We weren’t in the room very long and just needed a place to sleep, but I wish my friend had convinced her other friends to stay at the first hotel I found. I won’t be going back to the Super 8.

The worst experience ever. The fire alarm was up at 4a in the morning! The bathroom was very dirty, water is not running through in the toilet! Do not stay in this place.

Times like this I wish there was an option for 2 ½ stars, as 3 stars too much.
Notwithstanding a recent review here that said there wasn’t (and I don’t believe the person from Super 8 corrected her who replied to the review), there IS indeed a resort fee, $ 9.99 per night. Funny how these places come up with a list of items that supposedly justify a «resort» fee.
Rooms are ok. Service at the front desk is spotty, some personnel do a good job, others don’t. If you plan on using the airport shuttle, either to be picked up at the airport, or to be taken to the airport, double check, despite what you read or told, what the times are. They have a close relationship with the next door Ellis Island, a Village Pub establishment. The food is cheap, the quality can vary widely (the infamous steak and egg special at breakfast is a «prime» example). The free breakfast that Super 8 provides at the BBQ restaurant in Ellis Island is a total joke… you’d get a better «buffet» at Howard Johnson’s…skip it, totally, yes, ignore that pretty coupon they give you at check-​in.
The prices for the rooms at Super 8 vary widely, depending what site you visit. It is easy to overpay if you don’t do your homework.
All in all, a 2 ½ star experience; the next door inconsistent Ellis Island is not helpful to their rating.

Cheap hotel… therefore, I was expecting something (very) simple but not something so incredibly disgusting.
The grossest room I ever stayed in. The carpet was filthy and stained. Bathroom was discussing, shower head covered in some white grime. Friend stayed there too on that same trip and their room was as filthy as ours.
The «smoking» quarters started where the corridor leading to ours ended. No real separation. The stench was indescribable.
But, luckily, our room came with a «complimentary breakfast»… The homeless people on the street right in front of the hotel probably had a much nicer breakfast than we did!
For those of you who say that it is OK, because it is a «super 8», NO, no it’s not OK, unsanitary rooms are not ok!

I was in town for about a week for various events, including a wedding and friends birthday. I was being budget conscious and was so happy with my experience at the Super 8. Room was a basic hotel room (no fancy upgrades) and served its purpose.
Things I liked:
–My room was on the ground floor but was still quiet.
–I was able to go on a swim at the pool without being bothered by creeps or drunk people. Only mid-​westerners minding their own business.
–Free continental breakfast
–Free wifi.
— 7 Eleven next door
–Free airport shuttle (although hours are limited– call in advance)
–Short 15 – 20 minute walk to the strip or $ 8 cab ride
–friendly staff
— NO resort fees!
The only thing I wasnt crazy about was that the carpet was a little dirty. Its vegas and people are a hot mess inside and outside their rooms so I get it but some extra carpet shampooing wouldnt hurt. Other than that, I was completely happy with my stay and even happier to not be spending all my money on a hotel.

I recommend that no one says at this hotel. Had an incident with someone coming in our room @3 in the morning. Staff gave person wrong key. Staff didn’t nothing about it. Would definitely not stay here again. Also housekeeping forgot to clean our room.

They were very rude to me. I had booked online and I didn’t see that they weren’t pet friendly. So I waited forever to talk to a manager and they threatened to kick me out when I asked if my dogs could come inside to get out of the heat. I was not pleased at all with their customer service skills.

Well, a Super 8 is a Super 8 is a Super 8, cheap and dingy. There was a cricket in my friend’s room keeping her up from 3a on. There was still trash in random places in my room including a giant ball of hair under the bed.
But it was okay. And the front desk people are really nice.
You get what you pay for so being too upset is silly.

Booked this through Wyndham because we like Ellis Island Brewery and they own this property. We stayed 2 days. House keeping didn’t make up our room. Had to go to check in to get coffee for the morning. The free breakfast should be skipped unless you want carbohydrates. Nothing but oatmeal packets. Cold cereal, bread, plastic packaged pastry and extremely small Styrofoam coffee cups. We ate elsewhere. The room was OK. Next time we’ll stay elsewhere.

When I wrote this review, I was in tears. It was my birthday and I was crying from frustration and exhaustion. This is more like the Section 8 Motel. We’ve never been treated with such sleaziness by management of any hotel or establishment with customer service.
My husband booked Super 8 Ellis Island through Hotwire two weeks ahead, specifically because it claimed, «Pet-​Friendly — 15 dollars per pet per day.» (As of today, these claims are still up on Super 8’s website in the amenities section (

So, we brought our mellow 12-​pound Poodle mix. But when we arrived at 2:45 a.m. after driving 300 miles, we were turned away. Management claimed they do not allow pets. Mind you, neither their website nor Hotwire was updated with their new («five-​month old}) policy; and their own Lobby sign clearly stated as Policy No. 1, «Please do not leave pets unattended.»
What kind of business won’t honor its own advertising when they’ve misled a customer?
Their own GM, Mike Galatte, wouldn’t do the right thing and honor our reservation based on their false advertising. Instead, he acted like he was doing us a favor by allowing us to stay from 4am — 11am, during which time we were scrambling to find a new hotel in an overbooked Vegas. Of course, they charged us for the privilege.
And their wannabe operations manager, «Ricardo,» was the RUDEST flunky we’d ever met. This guy was born to work at a one star hotel. When management treats you like this, it filters down to the people who clean your room, which was filthy.
The only people with any integrity here were the security staff and «Tasha,» whose skills would be of much better use at an upper scale venue.
Do not take your wives or girlfriends here if you want to enjoy them, and definitely don’t take your kids here. You’re not important enough for them to address your complaints and there’s no refund once you’re in. You are much better off paying $ 15 more per night for a decent place to stay where they won’t ruin your getaway.

Tasha runs that lobby extremely well. She is bilingual, well spoken and has a great sense of humor. We came in very tired and Tasha was busy but made sure that each customer was handled. Super 8 gets stars for her. Give her a raise or something, lawd knows she works for it.

Booked a room here through Park Sleep Fly for 12÷17÷14 so we could leave the car for our 10 day trip to Michigan and Indiana. Had a little trouble getting checked in but it was a computer error on the site we booked on. Ken was great getting us all taken care of and was able to print out our boarding passes for the next day. We were also able to weigh our luggage and pay our baggage fees. Also recommended eating at the Ellis Island casino. Food was Great!
The shuttle the next morning was right on time and our driver (injured security guy) was excellent getting us to the airport. Perfect place if you need to park sleep and fly!

This is was one of the worst motel experiences I had. The hotel smell and run down. I know it’s motel but in Vegas, they should do better. I dot recommend staying here

This was a hiking trip to Vegas to summit Mt Charleston with my girl; my girl being a loveable 70 pound Pit Bull. And yes, there are people who come to Vegas… just to Hike!
I started by calling Vegas Insider to help me find a pet friendly hotel, and they called 3 places to verify the pet restrictions. After being on hold for quite awhile, they found 2 places that had a 30 pound pet limit and the other was 50 pounds… really, 30 pounds is not a dog!
So I turned to Super 8, and found no hassle here. I was a little worried about some of the negative reviews, but I found that this was a great place to stay… along with a great bargain. It was nice not having to pay a resort fee.
All the staff members were extremely friendly. Even when my pooch Sammy locked me out of our room without the room key or any ID. The staff member at the reception desk just asked me a couple of questions and then made me a new key.
My room was very quiet and clean. The tub drained like it should, the air conditioner worked great and the ice machine down the hall had ice. I couldn’t have asked for any more.
And yes, Sammy and I hiked the 17.4 mile round trip up to the 11,918 foot Mt Charleston summit!

Oh Super 8. I get it — you get what you pay for, especially in a town like Vegas. And sure, you’re not too far from a lot of the major venues on the Strip (it’s about a 30 minute walk to the MGM or a 15 minute walk to the Cromwell). And hey, free WiFi is always a plus. But my experience was not particularly great even for that price where my complaints stem from here.
Firstly, when I got there, I was unable to get a non-​smoking room with the best effort being a spray to try and get rid of the smell. I instead spent a lot of time turning on the fan and keeping the door open to try to get rid of it. Second, expect little customer service at peak hours as the small staff tries to try to both accommodate the influx of guests and hotel room needs. Finally, there are a bunch of smaller cons like really smoky hallways, a weird outer area around the hotel and a very barebones continental breakfast.
You get what you pay for and although it may be one of the better ‘budget’ hotels, my experience was not great for any hotel experience.

Unschlagbares Preis/​Leistungs-​Verhältnis. Ein Hotel eine Straße und 5 Minuten Fußweg vom Strip entfernt. Das Hotel hat ein eigenes Casion und eine Brauerei. Das Bier dort kann ich wärmsten empfehlen, fast so gut wie unser deutsches Bier. Auch das Essen dort ist sehr gut und besonders günstig. Das im Preis enthaltene Frühstück ist nicht das Beste, aber bei dem Preis kann man einfach nichts sagen! Es gibt einen Pool und einen beheizten Jakuzzi. An der Rezeption gibt es durchgehend freien Kaffee, heiße Schokolade und kaltes Wasser. Das Zimmer ist gut ausgestattet und sauber, es wird täglich gereinigt.

Let me preface my review by saying I’m pretty low maintenance– a clean bed and shower works for me but if you kick in a free paper or breakfast, I’m sold. I travel a lot on business so on my own time, I don’t need all the bells and whistles. The breakfast had everything but bacon and eggs. If you want that, go next door and get it for cheap. It was a bit chaotic because there was a line and someone had to share the table with me.
I only stayed for a night so I was looking for a place that offered an airport shuttle such as this. It offers an airport shuttle which is a plus and it’s on demand. It was there when I called. A lot of people were checking in and I heard the same speech from the people working the counter which was great Bc sometimes they cut it short.
There is a computer with a printer in the large lobby but the minimum charge is $ 5.00. There are elevators, a small bathroom but how many people need to be in there at once. When I’m doing my business, wait your turn.
I had a view of the pool and jacuzzi and there are vending machines on each floor unlike most places. The plus for me is being next to Ellis Island which is the best thing going in Vegas for food.
The location is great and you’re a block from the monorail and the strip. There’s a sports book in the casino, a gas station at the corner and a decent souvenir shop 5 minutes away. Unlike most places, there is no resort fee or a deposit.
I’ll be back.

Vegas pas cher! On a payé 66 $ pour deux nuits en chambre pour deux personnes avec lit king size, petit dej inclus. Alors ce n’est pas le hilton ou le césar palace mais à ce prix là on né peut pas demander la lune!
La chambre est très correcte, tv, bureau, fer a repasser, clim, baignoire. La moquette a vécue et est un peu taché mais propre. Le lit est très confortable.
Le petit dej est simple mais gratuit. De 6 à 9, pain, cereales, gateaux, café, thé, lait, jus d’orange et de pomme.
Le personnel est aussi gentil.
La localisation de l’hôtel est a environ 20mn a pied du centre de vegas. Donc pour aller au strip mieux vaut prendre la voiture et aller se garer au parking mais ce n’est pas gênant car rapide et il y a tjs des places. C’est aussi un peu agréable d’être en retrait sans embouteillage et bruit non stop!
Pas vraiment de bémol sur cet hotel. Très correct.

Este hotel de Las Vegas es, posiblemente, el mejor de la zona en relación calidad/​precio. Es MUY barato, su ubicación es estupenda (al lado del Strip) y tiene unos servicios geniales: te recogen gratis en el aeropuerto, hay una piscina abierta 24 horas con jacuzzi, las habitaciones son grandes y con camas enormes y muy cómodas, hay servicio de lavandería por un precio muy bajo…
Al lado hay un casino/​restaurante muy barato donde se puede comer por menos de 5 dólares, y todos los hoteles del Strip están muy cerca.
Una muy buena elección si se quiere un hotel asequible y en la zona más visitada de Las Vegas.

Motel pratique et pas cher par rapport aux hotels de luxe de Las Vegas. Mais par contre c’est un peu glauque et il faut une voiture pour se rendre dans les casinos.
Attention si vous y prenez une chambre à vérifier que c’est une non fumeur.
