Everything on their website looked beautiful WRONG!!! dirty floors in lobby /​dirty elevators full of trash HELLO HOUSEKEEPING /​hallways dirty trash on the floor walls banged up and dirty /​walked in room aw man where do I start !!! Dirty carpet dirty bathroom everything outdated furniture scratched and old. Never will I stay here again writing this review as I’m getting ready to check out (checked out sake day I checked in that’s how horrible these rooms are)

Nice casino with huge mall attached! Casino has latest slots. Didn’t pay much –that happens. Lots of restaurants. Tons of designer stores.

This review is for the location, casino, restaurants/​eateries, and other services/​attractions only – not the rooms. Like Paris Las Vegas and Bally’s, which are a short 5 to 10 minute walk to the left of the Miracle Mile Shops, Planet Hollywood (PH) has a great location. Aside from the aforementioned hotels, Las Vegas’ Hard Rock Café, the Signature (of MGM), and Grand Château among others are also near by. The hotel is on the corner of Harmon and S Las Vegas Blvd., so it’s right behind the overpass/​bridge that allows you to easily and quickly reach other nearby hotels located on the other side; The Bellagio, the Cosmopolitan, ARIA, Vdara, the Monte Carlo, and the Mandarin Oriental are the closest.
Planet Hollywood’s casino is probably one of my favorites. It is a larger floor with many poker tables located in the middle (including the Pleasure Pit, featuring sexy dancers around the tables), while the slot machines are wrapped around the entire area. There are a handful of ATMs and bill breakers scattered around the floor, and a cashier’s cage near the 1-​cent slots. I also noticed many cocktail waitresses walking around, which is great (and needed) given the number of people who walk in and out throughout the day.
One of the best qualities of this hotel is that it already has plenty of shopping and dining options in its immediate area or a few yards away. The hotel owns the Miracle Mile Shops, which is conveniently right next to the casino (and accessible from inside it as well); there are take out spots, a food court, ‘frozen’ daiquiri vendors, a couple sports bars, and sit-​in restaurants scattered around this large shopping complex. Just outside the mall and PH casino is an open area where you can see impersonators, costumed characters (dressed sexy, not dressed at all/​body paint only, cartoons, etc.), artists, musicians, and more.
As mentioned earlier, I cannot speak on what the rooms are like – hence the 3-​star review. However, given the reviews and pictures left by other Unilocalers along with my own experience in and around the hotel, I’d consider staying here the next time I’m visiting.

1– you have to walk for a bit from the parking garage to the check in area. As mentioned by one of the Unilocalers, you literally have to walk half the mall to get to the lobby. Also, it took us about half hour to get a parking.
2– check in line was very long. Apparently no one was at the desk until one lady complained. Apparently she had to argue with one of the staff to get the check in started. While waiting for our turn, there were people that cut lines and the receptionist allowed it. No, they were not VIPs because we were at the general check ins. Shame on you!
3– No fridge, no kettle, no water bottle, no microwave here. You could probably request one and pay for it coz i saw one mini fridge outside one of the rooms on my floor.
4– the resort fee is double from the Venetian. This resort fee is mandatory and it includes gym & day spa and wifi for two. However, wifi is VERY weak. Only works in my room. Not any other places within the hotel. Sucks. Fitness center is pretty big. Day spa is lovely but lack of lounge chairs. Oh, to get to the spa it is really awkward to walk between people who are gambling in the middle of the area on M floor (if you are from North elevators).
5– we got two queen beds and one of the queen bed’s headboard is dusty. So obviously we chose to sleep on the other bed. Water pressure was low.
6– our entrance light in the room does not work. The room is dark and depressing.
7– somebody must have kicked or pushed the toilet door really hard before us because there is a hole on the wall.
8– had to ride on the lift in total darkness at one time. Dont know what happened.
9– if u are traveling from outside the US, shopping would be fun for you here especially with sales going on.
All in all, if it weren’t for an event for hubs, we wouldnt be here. I was totally spoiled from my stay at the Venetian 2 weeks ago.

Beautiful room, nice amenities and good rates!
This is my second time staying at Planet Hollywood and I think it is a really nice hotel.
The room is pretty spacious with comfortable pillow top mattress and beautiful bathroom with soaker tub, shower and granite vanity. There is a separate celebrity theme for each room and each room has ample closet space.
The amenities are pretty comprehensive with pools, gym, wedding chapel and spa. They have a new surfing pool as well and guests can go in with a surfing board.
The cost of my hotel room is $ 69 a night, plus resort fee. The hotel is on the strip and walking distance to Bellagio hotel. There is free parking in the garage but it is quite a bit of walk between rooms and garage.
A great hotel for Vegas fun!

You can call Planet Hollywood hotel the men in the middle; every pool or club that I went in Vegas was a 15 – 20 minute walk from this hotel, with is not bad.
With a great staff and great mall with a lot variety of stores and restaurant this have to be, on of the best hotel in Vegas Blvd. Love this casino. They have tons and great of slots machine (and more when you win), quite a lot of penny slots, a lot of roulette, 21 tables and poker as well. You also can find a nice bar with the name ‘Heart Bar’, with is a great spot to get your crew together.
The rooms are nice and very clean with above average décor, with a bathtub and shower to those that like to take a bath or shower one great thing is that the toilet is in a extra room, so you have some privacy while you are sitdown in the throne one bad thing is that they don’t have fridge.

The casino and location are one of my favs. After numerous trips I choose to stay here seeing as again, location and casino are outstanding .
HOWEVER– so many issues with the actual room I won’t be staying here again.
1) did the online check in. Email stated I could check my bags and wait for an email/​call saying my room was ready. After many hours of not getting a call, I had to go to the lobby, stand in line and wait. I was told when I gift p a clerk my room was ready and they don’t know why I had never received an email. So much for the connivence they promised me
2) got to the room and it was 80+ degrees. Cranked the A/​C way down — left the room for a few hours l, got back and still warm. Didn’t get the room to cool down till the next morning
3) beds were comfortable but the pillows were lumpy and hard in places.
4) the rooms are extremely dated and the furniture is in rough shape, looks like they got it at a flea market
5) tvs were horrible
6) one ply toilet paper??? Really?
7) bathrooms remind me of my local gym
Having said this– views were outstanding
This place reminded me of going to spring break in college and having to get a cheap room at a motel 6 or something. If places like these exist on the strip I can’t imagine what’s off the strip

I was here on business. Can’t complain. This hotel isn’t terrible, like everyone is making it out to be. I do have high-​expectations, especially when it comes to hotel cleanliness and I was not disappointed.
I requested a room with the strip-​view. They put me on the 37^th floor. Great views. My room was clean and was updated.
Everything was close (or on-​site) and convenient.

We are not staying here by choice; I am only simply attending a conference here and want to be close; If I had my choice — we would have been across the street.
From the minute you arrive, the whole scene is chaos; Nobody is there to help you with your bags — you must fend for yourself.
Large glass doors are heavy and annoying. Staff does not care. Things are dark, dingy and filthy. Room are very outdated and lack basic amenities such as USB /​appropriate electrical outlet.
Housekeeping is very basic; those folks are friendly.
Pool was filthy. I was stunned @ the garbage strewn all over the pool; things floating in the water.
We won’t be back; in fact — we’ve organized an escape plan already!

I go to PH each and every time I’m in Vegas because I must have Garrett’s popcorn while I’m there. I finally decided to stay there Monday night.
The hotel is pretty awesome. Plenty to do all in one place. I’d say that this is an excellent place for tourists. Especially those without transportation. Everything you really need for a good time is here at this hotel. You have a nice shopping mall here, tons of food choices, gambling for high rollers and low rollers, lots of entertainment options and more. Their offerings meet every price range.
The service was good from my first call to book until the time I left. Valet is a slow, though. It’s always been that way.
Early check in will cost you if you want to check in before 2pm. I did not get the fee because I refused service.
The room was incredibly large. The bathroom was humongous! Large oversized tub. Separate shower.(uninspiring, looks like a public shower… I’ll mention now… low water pressure, water didn’t get hot enough). Two separate vanities. Loved that… the floor is quite slippery. be careful!
The room was a «hip king» as described. Purple velour chairs, purple, velour headboard. Super comfy bed and pillows. The view from our room was incredible! We had an awesome view of the strip and pool area. We got a kick out of watching people on the surf machine and the night view of the strip. a really nice room overall. (I went with upgraded hip king room)
The room was not pristine clean but it was passable. The linens and carpet were very clean but there were parts of the room and bathroom that could have been more tidy to be perfectly honest. Especially for the price. My husband’s lamp didn’t work. Nice tv– great picture. Room had Robin Williams décor. memorabilia from Dead Poet’s society. It was pretty cool!
Elevators move quickly and are equipped with televisions. The hotel is noisy, fast paced and geared towards a younger crowd, which I didn’t mind too much as I already knew what I was getting into.
Overall, I enjoyed my stay. We got an opportunity to be connected with Caesars, platinum, total rewards program which offers some pretty good perks. Definitely worth looking into. They have my interest and attention to look into staying at some of their other properties for future visits.
I would recommend this hotel for sure.

Planet Hollywood reached out to us and actually refunded our stay. a+ for customer service. They said they are in the process of remodeling.
Still, the pictures were not the same as the actual room and parking for hotel guests really was a nightmare.

Literally the worst room I have ever stayed in Las Vegas. Booked last minute for a quick weekend trip and from check-​in to check-​out. Two words «Murphy’s Law»
We checked in after waiting 30 minutes in line (the longest Check-​in line ever) and arrived to our room which was rundown (am I at motel 6?)…nope I’m not… carry on. The room was so dusty and clearly not cleaned. I called down to have someone (a rude someone to be specific) dust the room. We waited over three hours (until 930pm) at which point we were getting ready to go out so I told them to come back in the morning and do it when they make the beds etc… it never happened!
This was just the beginning, I could go on for light years… like Lambchop!
Other issues included:
Bathtub handle falls off
Sulfur smell in sink
No hot water in shower
Sink broken… lipgloss fell down drain
Ice machine broken for 3 days
No valet available to guests staying at hotel (frequently full)
Tub drains slow… clogged
Lamp in room-​bulb blew
Dim lighting
Remote broken
Bed shams dirty
Takes 1hr for extra towels.
Pillows break your neck (uncomfortable)

No frills hotel, what you see is what you get. Not as over the top as the other hotels, but it was clean, the beds were comfortable and I would recommend this hotel to someone not looking to spend too much on a Vegas hotel.
Good:
–Location on the middle of the strip was great.
–You could walk right into the mall from your room
–Tons of stores within walking distance
–Room service cleaned the suite well, no problems
–Our rooms were spread out throughout the floor initially but we were able to upgrade to the Boulevard Suite
–Grab a late night sandwich or early morning coffee nearby
–Register for a Total Rewards card to earn points on your hotel stay and anything you charge to your room
–I booked through a 3^rd party website and it made things difficult, please book directly through Planet Hollywood
Bad:
–if you need extra towels, it’s easier to find housekeeping in the hallways and ask in person rather than call down for it
–there was an issue with the sound system in the suite and they did not show up until after the next day
–checking into the hotel takes a solid half hour at minimum
–The Boulevard Suite has a great common room, but only a single queen size bed in each of the adjoining bedrooms
–wi-​fi was complimentary for only 2 devices per room

This review is a true testament that every place is worth a second chance and Planet Hollywood was one of those spots for me.
The first time I stayed here the experience failed on all levels and I swore up and down I would never return. However, when looking for a weeks stay I found a heck of a deal and was (to the penny) $ 1200 less than the MGM side for the same duration of visit. That had me feeling like I was a VIP or getting away with murder.
One major plus for PH is the location as it’s in the heart of the strip and smack dab in the middle of where I usually inhabit. I split my gambling between Planet Hollywood and MGM so with close access to Bellagio and the tram from PH ease of getting around was a breeze. If I ever did decide to do it someday I know there is the monorail behind PH to maneuver up through that end of the strip as well.
Beyond that, I loved how the elevators were strategically placed away from the action and rarely had 15 million people trying to pack into it at one time. Also there is enough assortment of food choices to keep you on the premises so kudos to that as well. There were only a handful of times we ventured out to our regular joints, but for the most part we were content with getting food and eating it in the confines of the room.
For the fashionista inside all of us being so close to the miracle mile was nice as well. I know having things like the ABC store for quick beverage runs added convenience to the trip and the vast array of stores was able to subdue the wife’s shopping itch for hours on end during our stay as well.
The room itself was spaced out better this time around and looks like the décor got an upgrade since the last stay as well. The bed was very comfortable and the side chair was a joy to have as well to do my normal staring out the window at the Vegas life (don’t worry I don’t mean that to sound so creepy).
On the Caesar’s side I can say by far that this is my favorite hotel experience at this point and when a good deal presents itself a desired destination. I’m glad that it was a few bad apples the first time here who ruined my stay and it was not a direction reflection of what truly is Planet Hollywood. I admit I still miss it as the Aladdin (so much for time stamping myself), but with hospitality as I was shown I’d say the genie will continue to grant wishes for many years to come!

The twenty dollar tip trick works here. My room was upgraded for four days from a standard cheapest rate room to a corner suite overlooking the bellagio fountains and Paris for only twenty dollars extra overall
Check in staff gave me free water at check in to make sure I was hydrated and treated me no differently even though I had booked my super cheap room rate on Hotwire

Came here for the JLo show.
Doors were to open at 7:30, it was 8:30, doors to the arena was still closed, the area to stand and wait to get in is a narrow dark hall no room to walk past to your particular area. So uncomfortable, and disorganized. Once we finally got in, no ushers around to guide you, it’s a good thing I knew exactly where we needed to sit prior to by studying the layout. The arena is beautiful, lots of room, love the stairs are not steep, steps are wide easy to walk. Our seats were next to the walk isle, which we happen to like, but it was so distracting with the VIP section close by and the servers walking up and down the stairs getting drinks to service the VIP’s. Seems so odd, they need a different set-​up or close by kitchen/​bar instead of the help having to walk up the stairs to the bar, and down the stairs to the VIP’s. Not very practical, I felt bad for them.
Anyway, it was an awesome concert, no restriction, allowed to record and take pictures. The stage effects, and set was mind blowing.

I thought the first tell-​tale sign of my hotel room was when it featured an «As Good As It Gets» theme, y’know the movie with Jack Nicholson, Helen Hunt, Greg Kinnear and an adorable puppy named Verdell. I’m not sure if they were real, but there were movie props behind glass in our room. Unfortunately, our room felt like it was «the worst it could get.»
On first impression, we thought we entered someone else’s room since the TV was on and the luggage rack was standing open. The second thing I noticed was stains on the curtains from what I can only imagine as a ghost of someone’s projectile vomit. Ugh…
The bathroom seemed spacious since there was a fancy tub, but the shower looked no better than a community shower. I spied a random pubic hair on the tile missed by housekeeping and there was virtually no water pressure in the shower. I had to endure an additional 10 minutes to get clean. While doing so, I kept hoping this was a bad dream. The bedsheets were scratchy, the bath towels were the strangest dimensions that I thought I could wrap myself twice in them. Overall, the room just felt dirty.
For the price of the room and location of the hotel, I hoped it would be decent, but it really wasn’t. The hotel hallways felt like we had taken a walk inside Britney Spears with the pink/​black décor. Lastly, our toilet stopped flushing and we decided this was a sign that we needed to check out 2 days early. I don’t think I could endure the living situation for what seems like poor maintenance or the aftermath of someone else’s hard-​partying in Vegas. I’d like to think that we just got a bad room, but it was bad enough that I would not want to come back not even to gamble in their casino. I’ve had better stays at Holiday Inns.

Ehh PH was average. Not terrible but it could be better. It’s located in the middle of the strip which is very convenient.
First thing is the obvious self parking. The valet parking for the hotel was always full every day. So no choice to self park. If you’re lucky you’ll get a spot near by the mall entrance.
Then walk through the miracle mile, Then into the casino to find the elevator to the room is a long walk. For this reason I won’t return to this hotel. I love the miracle shops which is a huge plus but the layout of the entire setup it so stupid. Why didn’t they put an easy entrance to the casino?
Next thing that was annoying was this hotel doesn’t have free wifi. I figured well, that’s okay, we can use our phone data. Wrong. There’s NO service in our room lmao. Don’t know if that’s just bad luck or the hotel it’s self.
The room window view we had was the pool area lol. Ehhh.
The décor of the room was average. Basic. A frame of wheel of fortune. The table was cool though with a clear glass and décor inside. The lighting is very dim though. The bathroom is well lit and very spacious. Very clean. Maybe some signs of wear and tear on the shower. Spacious closet with a lockable safe. Dual sinks in bathroom. Toilet door separate from the tub and shower.
The TV is a little old but nice.
The casino is good, but some slot machines were out of service. The drinks were good. The process to sign up for total rewards is very quick and easy. If you don’t mind hauling luggage to and from the mall, don’t care about wifi, and parking then you can get by fine with this hotel because of its location.

Of all the options on the strip in vegas, planet hollywood has become my home away from home. It’s in the old Aladdin building and its age is evident in parts.
Rooms: 3.7÷5.0
Honestly a hit or miss on the rooms. As I stated, the age of the building is apparent and its the rooms that show it the most. Over the last several years I have noticed an improvement in the plumbing issues I encountered years prior. Depending on your budget and use for the room, PH does offer a variety of option which is nice! I have stayed in most of them and the Panorama Suite has been my favorite. This last trip I stayed in a smaller room but on one of the renovated floors. Very nice! Clean, white tones and practical amenities. And the Bellagio view was awesome.
Food:
No rating as the individual restaurants earn their own.
Ramsey’s BUGR… ehh.
I do recommend YOLOs with the guac they make in from of you.
Strip house steakhouse: must try! Get chocolate cake. Separate review done.
Buffet: one of the best (value and selection.). Sometime I go just because the soft serve and desserts.
Casino: 4.2÷5.0
Dealers are pretty nice. Some are downers which really sucks, but noticed an improvement in this problem lately. Never had long waits for cocktails, and the pit bosses never gave me problems when I ask them to call for one. Slot attendants are available and are friendly. Loose slots? Sometimes, just never for me. It seems anytime I play a slot game, everyone else playing is hitting bonuses and my machine sucks me dry. Ohhhh! And they have dancers in the «pleasure pit.» So half naked chicks dancing on poles I’m evening.

A great spot on the strip. Right across from Cosmo and Bellagio. It’s got a good balance of age. The younger crowd loves the louder and fun atmosphere. And the baby boomers love it too… still trying to figure it out but I think it’s because they want to feel like they are of the younger crowd.

My boyfriend and I spent our five year anniversary at Planet Hollywood this weekend and had an unpleasant stay. We purchased the hip room, non-​smoking with views of the Bellagio fountains. The pictures online showed a vibrant, hip room but what we found was the complete opposite. Although we paid for a non-​smoking room, the entire hallway reeked of cigarettes. Once we actually got to the room, we were stunned. Our jaws dropped at the fact that we paid a hefty amount for a room that was old and dirty. The furniture was dinged and some of it was unhinged. The beds were squeaky and uncomfortable. The whole room just looked antiquated and we could just not wrap our heads around on the fact that we paid so much money for this.
Our flight was cancelled and on our last night they rebooked us to stay at La Quinta Inn near the airport and we were more stunned with their accommodations. Their rooms were actually clean and looked pretty modern. Not to mention, la quinta inn charges way less than planet hollywood.
When a motel meets your needs better than a «5-​star» hotel, there is a problem.
Self-​parking for hotel guests at planet hollywood was also a giant dilemma.
This place is so gross, would give it zero stars if I could.
NEVER.AGAIN!

Dated hotel, but the suites aren’t too bad. I booked last minute and got an upgrade to a suite for another $ 100 a night or something. The suite had a big round bathtub, and some old addams family stuff on the wall (dated anyone?). It’s close to some other good properties to hang out it. I stayed here only two nights, no major complaints.

My husband and I attended Jlo’s concert in Planet Hollywood Axis. We had a blast, Jlo is a true performer who really showcases her whole talent. Great energy level from the stage to the crowd. I’m glad that I got to see her in Vegas. I want to see her again one more time here. I’m definitely coming back for her summer show.

Have stayed here many times.
Most recent was on 1/23/16…strip view, two queen beds, 20^th floor.
Check in took almost 30 minutes, after a walk from basically the roof for self-​parking.
Room was as-​requested, with «resort access fee» cost was about $ 200.00…which is really stupid. The only reason I booked this room was an event at Caesar’s which cost over $ 300.00 a night and is easily reached after a 10 minute walk.
Carpets are stained, worn and torn in spots.
Elevator (1 of 6) was out of order and stuck open.
Short of the Gordon Ramsey Burger restaurant, choices are played out and expensive or not very good.
While I hate staying here, do enjoy the convenience. That would be the only reason to chose PH, and probably why I’ll stay here again… that said, it is an overblown, expensive and unpleasant accommodation.

stayed in march 2015– the hotel staff was EXTREMELY friendly and helpful. i asked for several random things when i booked (robes, higher floor #) all of which were obliged. when given the hotel key, we even asked if we could have the «britney/​piece of me» one as a momento instead of the one we were given. (we flew in specifically to see her concert) the concierge gave us a couple of them «one to use in the room and one to keep for your scrapbook» hah.
the room itself was nice. as PH goes, each room has a theme: our room was jurassic park. the bathroom was spotless and the room looked relatively clean. however, the cleaning staff could do a little better. i dropped something on the floor and it went under the bed, when i reached to get it i found a can of chewing tabacco (EW!) and tossed it. i probably wouldn’t have even noticed had i not dropped something, but the cleaning staff could have at least taken a look under the bed. unlike some hotels i’ve been to i can say that the room itself is quiet. you can’t hear much, if anything, from the hallways.
the convenience of this hotel was the selling point for me. couldn’t beat that we were staying in the same building as our show, so that was a great bonus. the location is also perfect since the mile shops are located within. only stayed for 3 days, but almost felt like i didn’t have to leave the hotel. everything i needed was inside. (for the record, i DID leave to experience vegas lol)– but all in all i was pleased with my stay here.

Okay here’s the deal, this place is gross. I have no appetite because of the hotel itself.
The staff are okay, nice enough, but don’t expect anyone to go above and beyond for you. Upon checking in I was told there wasn’t anymore non smoking King sized rooms available, so I was placed in a non smoking queen room, however I was promised that at 11am I would be moved to a king sized room facing the strip, this never happened.
The hotel itself looks miserable, it’s cold, old and dirty. I am a haven seeker, meaning when I want hotel accommodations, I want to receive what I paid for.
Las Vegas isn’t my thing, I’m here for work, because I wouldn’t come here on my own especially after staying at Planet Hollywood.
The resort fee is charged, when the wifi sucks and the pools are closed. What am I paying for exactly.
I’m ready to go and PH obviously isn’t in the hospitality business.

First impression of the hotel online was decent. I had never stayed here before so my friends and I wanted to try a new hotel. The rooms looked nice for a decent price, so we figured we’d give it a try.
No problems with staff, although we didn’t need much so it was very minimal communication. We needed a connecting room and the front desk was able to accommodate us.
Great location on the strip with many shopping and food options within the hotel, as well as easy access to other hotels near by.
Now for the rooms… we stayed on the 24^th floor. Off hand the rooms look okay. Truly nothing fancy or special. Beds are fitted with plain white comforters and pillows, and room is decorated with with movie themed items. Ours was Jurassic Park. The furniture was very outdated. A lot of scratches and dings that were pretty obvious. The display for the movie poster seemed pointless. It took up a lot of unnecessary space and held no closet room.
Beds…horrible. They sink in and squeak! I’ve never stayed in a hotel with beds this bad! The bathroom was… okay. But the shower… gross. The floor of the shower had mildew stains as the drain was rusted. The shower itself is really small and our door happened to be coming off the rubber that secured it to the wall. And the towels had a weird smell on one of the days of ur stay :(
Overall the room just seems old and dirty. Dust in places and cleanliness was disappointing. If you’re looking for a decently priced hotel, and nothing too fancy, this might be of interest to you. BUT I have stayed at another hotel, even cheaper, located in a very good place on the strip… that was definitely much cleaner and well kept.
So no, I probably would not stay here again.

This was a bit of a shocker. Initially stayed here for the good rates, but it was super convenient to be here. It’s at the middle of the strip and allows for access to many different casinos.
The rooms were pretty spacious and the hotel staff were accommodating to all of our needs. And we were kinda needy… Yikes.
As an added bonus, the hotel has a place called Earl’s sandwiches. Omg. Probably went there 4 times in 2 days.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Lisa, Front Desk Representative, she had asked to see my photo I.D. along with my method of payment. Verified all of the information. Since I was checking in before the check in time, she advised me of the $ 20 early fee. No problem. Lisa was very friendly and such as great way to begin my stay at the hotel. She had directed me to the elevators.
My room was located on the 16^th floor. The displayed floor plan is very easy to read. Upon entering the room, you walk into into a spacious entry area. To the right is the very spacious bathroom. There’s two sink/​vanity areas, great soaking tub with a separate shower and a private toilet area. Some people may think the double doors are a little strange, however, the doorway is wider than a normal doorway.
The bedroom area, to me, is large with two queen size beds, couple of lounging chairs, desk and a table with some movie memorabilia. Great view. Sure some of the furniture had couple of dings/​knicks in them. Did it ruin my stay — No. Everything was fine.
The housekeeping staff/​houseman are friendly. They would acknowledge you as walking past them. Please remember to tip them accordingly. They have a hard job.
As far as the casino… typical casino. Very well lit and fresh air. Sure, people were smoking but due to the air system, you didn’t smell the smoke.
The location is great. You are basically in the middle of the strip. Plenty of public transportation and taxis.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel and would return to the hotel.

The location is awesome but the rooms are dated. The rooms are dark and they have creepy props in them. My room had a puppet of a dog and it felt like it was staring at me while I slept. My other friend had Beetlejuice, so I can’t imagine what that was like. I would come back for the location and service but not for the rooms themselves.

So this was probably the worst hotel room at this price level I’ve ever had. Period.
I’ve booked fairly last minute (a day ahead) to spend a weekend with friends in Vegas and PH was the only available hotel close to my friends with a reasonable price (~$ 100). When I checked in, I ended up with a room on the 22^nd floor that looked okay at first glance. Just super dark. Minutes later I knew why: half the lights weren’t working anymore. The dresser door was partly unhinged and was missing some of its doors altogether.
Unable to reach the front desk after spending 15 minutes on the phone, I gave up, telling myself it’s just for sleeping and showers, it’ll do.
When I’ve started filling the bathtub, you could tell it wasn’t cleaned in a while. Dust and all kinds of things started floating as the water rushed in. Before it was too dark to see it.
Worst of all was the so called resort fee. Wifi was really bad and the pools were closed for winter. Yet they keep charging $ 32 per night even though.
Never again!

Stayed here for my younger brother’s 21^st birthday weekend celebration.
Positives:
+ Conveniently located on the Strip. Everything is either directly in front of you, to the left, or to the right.
+ Fat Tuesday, BurGr, Miracle Mile shops, and Earl of Sandwich are all on the first floor!
+ Trendy?
Things I Wish Could Be Better:
— Rooms. The rooms are cramped. We stayed in a two queen bed room and their was a huge coffee table and chair in front of the TV and one of the beds. To take a glance at the view from the window, you nearly had to climb over the armchair and squish by the coffee table. Too much work.
— Insufficient number of outlets. I had to hunt around the room to find outlets to plug my electronics. Outlets should be clearly visible and accessible.
— Wi-​fi. Logging onto the wi-​fi was too complicated. Why can’t it be like the Hilton? Complimentary access for one day for the public. Take notes, Planet Hollywood.
— Bathroom doors. The double doors were weird. Just keep it simple and all would be gravy.
— Small shower space. It was literally like standing in a box.

Awe, Planet Hollywood, the sweet memories of bad decisions, past.
This is one of your cheaper options in Vegas if you’re looking to stay on the Strip and be near enough touristy Vegas things.
The rooms are all themed with movie stuff. They feature (B-​rated) movies and put prints up on the walls and have some props in glass tables and such. My suite was Showgirls suite (nothing but class for my 30^th birthday!!), and featured a very creepy jumpsuit. But really, how much time do you spend in the room?
I would like to note that there was no mini bar and no fridge, which was a bummer. And seriously guys– get some locks for those bathroom doors!
The casino is within stumbling distance to the flamingos at the Flamingo and lots of restaurants and shops on the strip and is connected to the Miracle Mile Mall.
The casino itself is just like any other– not a lot of interest other than gambling. They also have the Gordon Ramsey restaurant, BRGER, which, predictably, only serves burgers.
We spent a surprising amount of time inter Mexican restaurant– YOLOs. I think enough is said about that!

* When Reception upgraded our King Size bed room for to a room with a view, they FAILED to mention that we were getting downsized a bed size. So, we slept less comfortably on a queen bed. :-(
* Memorabilia Company is supposedly responsible for maintaining the memorabilia in the rooms… so, that meant, inoperable lights, round display table, & wires everywhere (until housekeeping tucked it away)
* Drains: Sink/​Shower has a weird smell when water went down it. Like bleach/​egg/​sulfur… Couldn’t pin it down…
* Weak plumbing! (I noticed that this was mentioned in another review too)
* Parking is far away. You have to walk thru the mall to get to the hotel, to get to the elevators, etc (but, it’s free!)

What happened here??? This used to be my favorite casino to stay at and the hotel has gotten totally run down, the rooms are full of useless furniture that takes up so much space in the room. The only thing I liked about the room was the bed was comfortable and my room was quiet. They really need to gut out all the huge furniture and a light remodel to get back on par with what they are charging. Two stars because I still enjoyed the casino, but the room was not an enjoyable place to have friends come over.

The fitness center, located in the Spa on the mezzanine, is above average. A good variety of machines, and included closed caption TV, towels, fruit, and iced lemon water. I mention the location because I couldn’t find it in the information book, nor the website. Hours are 6a-​7p. Also, bring your ID to check in to work out.
Our room was okay, but little things bothered me.
— Housekeeping didn’t replace the coffee packets when cleaning room.
— Not enough towels, so the 3^rd day I left a tip and a note to please bring extra towels and more coffee. They left the coffee, but not the towels.
— Did not bring clean water glasses at all in the three days we stayed.
— Wifi is free with the resort fee, but only for two devices. Two phones and a laptop cost an additional $ 11.99 on top of the Resort Fee.

Took a last minute trip to Vegas for the weekend and needed something central that allowed pets, so we ended up at Planet Hollywood. First time staying here and overall it was fine for a quick trip.
Pros:
— Lots of dining options (Strip House, Koi, Earl of Sandwich, P.F. Chang’s, Pink’s Hot Dogs, Starbucks)
— Miracle Mile Shops and Restaurants
— Central location on the strip
— Rooms are large with spacious bathroom
— Pet friendly
Cons:
— Valet fills up quickly and self parking is far (have to walk through mall)
— Lack of desktop power outlets
— Rooms are showing their wear
— Elevators can be slow (only bank of 6 at each end)
— The resort fee includes free wifi, but limits
you to two devices
— No mini bar

I am kind of getting tired of of this place. The casino itself is still pretty great, but the hotel seems to be getting worse and worse. The entertainment center in the rooms have chips, rug coming up and places, wallpaper peeling some, just to list a few things. I’m not really too picky when it comes to stuff like this but it just seems like laziness. I love the location of the hotel because it is pretty central, but the room quality seems to get worse each time I come.
On the positive side though we stayed in suite with a fountain view and the view was spectacular. The suite is also a lot better then a regular room, very nice tub, the vanities with windows over looking the strip. So it’s really too bad, I may look around at other options next time I come because of the decreasing quality.

This unfortunately did not feel like a 4* hotel at all. The room was really dusty and wasn’t cleaned properly so had to change rooms (and this wasn’t any better). There was no kettle/​complimentary tea & coffee (basic amenity in my books — even 3* hotels provide that). No fridge/​mini bar. Only one wardrobe which I had to share with my friend. The hinge on the bathroom door was broken and hanging off, the tap on the bath was also broken. To top things off the shower was non adjustable and definitely needed de-​scaling as water was spraying everywhere. Just generally not what I expect for 4*. It seems very glamorous in the lobby however — lots of lights and pazazz — but it ends there. No tourist information section/​map/​leaflets etc either.
The only positives — very comfy bed and the room had a safe.
I would definitely not stay here again as I was really disappointed.

So happy that my first hotel on the Vegas strip and my stay here were both a success! I scored a great deal off Expedia for a two-​night stay and everything from the booking, check-​in, and check-​out was a smooth process. The staff was super courteous in taking care of us, the housekeepers were always happy and greeted us in the hallways, and the front desk was even kind enough to accommodate an early check-​in and automatic check-​out coordinated for us too!
We had a hip room with a view of the back side of the hotel with the theme of Les Miserables movie memorabilia showcased around the room. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable space. Our king size bed was very comfy, although my pillows were a bit stiff for my taste. We had both a bathtub and a shower in our room, with enough towels to last us our stay. Large screen t. v and armoire, however our armoire in our room had a broken door hinge. Nonetheless, I loved our room.
If shopping is your thing PH is home to the Miracle Mile shops, which boast shopping outlets and restaurants for all tastes, desires and budgets. The hotel’s location is quite convenient as well. Situated near many of the other well-​known hotels, such as Bally’s, Paris, The Cosmopolitan, and the Bellagio– it makes explore during the day a breeze and not too far of a walk either.
PH’s casino caters to the younger crowd with their hip and cool layout and music ambiance. Even taking a ride in the elevator felt like a party from the music they kept booming overhead. Many good places to eat at this hotel. I recommend Earl of Sandwich as a great on-​the-​go, budget friendly yet delicious stop to curb your hunger cravings.
If you’re in the mood for taking in a spa day, I recommend making an in-​person reservation at the Mandara Spa on the Mezzanine level. The services and pricing are pretty much the same as most hotels in the area, but for me it was the convenience and saved me time, and I had a great massage as well so… no regrets :) I would definitely stay here again next Vegas trip.

Hotel war in Ordnung. Einzig: Zusatz Kosten für 3 Tage 75 $ für Internet und Fitnessraum, sogenannte Ressort Fees, muss man extra nehrmen auch wenn man es nicht will, (wer braucht Fitnessroom in Vegas) :-) Hotel sauber, Safe, Empfehlenswert Earl of Sandwich zum essen. Hotelzimmer mit Blick zum Bellagio Fontänes. Lage am Strip.
