Sudden Impact Auto Body & Collision Repair Specialists

Picked up my 2015 Kia Soul today with $ 7k in damages. Multiple times I asked them if they would please bring it to Kia before doing any work to make sure it was mechanically sound and to make sure it did not qualify as a total loss. They REFUSED. Picked the car up today after it has been in their possession for roughly 30 days. I go to pull out and the car will not shift from first to second gear, third, 4^th, etc… It continually pops out of gear while driving. I call back and complain literally 5 minutes after getting my keys and they say I will have to bring it in so they can bring it to Kia to get it diagnosed and fixed. This is absolutely ridiculous. Brand new these cars are $ 15k and it already has over $ 7k put into it and these additional repairs likely would have made it a total loss but now my insurance will probably just pay the additional costs as they are already invested and I will get stuck with a car that will never drive the same.

I was hit by a drunk driver and needed repairs. Had the car taken to Sudden Impact. They were incredible. Took care of the car as good as new and they were very informing and helpful. Great staff, great service, great repairs.

TOTAL RIP OFF … I’m a prior customer so I went back and asked them for their best price to repair the small dent. Of course I mentioned that I was a returned customer and asked for them to take into consideration that I’m a retired senior with a small VA service connected pension. I’ve had 2 heart attacks and their sky high price was $ 2,795.00, about enough to give me a 3^rd heart attack.
I took my vehicle to another body shop and did not mention my estimate from Sudden Impact.
Are you ready for this $ 600.00 !! A difference of $ 2,195.00 .
The second shop completed the job to my total satisfaction at the $ 600.00 price.

I had to have some repairs and repainting on parts of my car and feel I got the best possible job for a really good price. They were extremely professional and courteous and did a great job (everything I required and more, at no extra charge). And, all done in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Sudden Impact.

We just had a 2014 Mustang convertible repaired by them. The damage was on the passengers side from the front wheel all the to the back wheel, including the rear axel. It took a little longer than we expected not due to the shop but because Ford has no axelsfor that car. We received constant updates from them. Vanessa was our main contact, she was very knowledgeable and courteous. On the day we picked up the vehicle she was off, so the owner assisted us. It is a pretty large place but the owner is there to help. Not like other places that you could never find the owner or get a return call back if there is an issue. I strongly suggest if you need a body shop use them. Word of mouth is the best, they got my word. Hope I feel the same way in a year. We just had my wife’s SUV repaired at Sudden Impact. I was worried about the repainting perfectly matching the existing paint, and was impressed when I picked it up as I could not tell the difference. PERFECT color match. The job was done in the expected time and for the expected cost. I spoke with Vanessa and she was very courteous. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

It is very overpriced, the estimate I was given was basically enough to buy a new car. Although I was never able to take my car to this shop I’m glad I didn’t.

Sudden Impact Auto Body really turned my bad experiences of having a car accident into a great experience of having my car repaired. Customer service was 5 stars, repairs was 5 stars. Everything was 5 stars except they would not accept my credit card, other than that, I will highly recommend the shop to any of my friends if they ever need repairs done on their vehicles. Amazing service!!! The quality of work is fantastic. I have used them for insurance work as well as for my custom vehicle. I’ll never go anywhere else… One of the main reasons is they say what they are going to do and deliver. NO Excuses!!! They get it done. Thanks.

My car was in there shop for almost two month due to my insurance and them going back and forth regarding parts, which I totally get and it wasn’t the shop’s fault. I got my car back today and it is in great condition. One thing that was annoying was that they would not give me my car back until the EFT payment cleared their back which took 3 days! Overall the work on my car is awesome, one thing that does bother me is that they didn’t change the tire where the impact happened, which I will have to change myself as I don’t feel safe driving with a tire that was directly impacted in the crash. Aslo, they didn’t follow up with me or give me any type of status until I called myself. If they followed up with me more and the EFT situation didn’t happen I would be happier.

Outstanding customer service! Friendly and very professional. They did everything they said they would do and was very detailed. One thing I loved was that my car was clean when I picked it.

I had my Nissan towed in after being hit on the right front side. This place was recommended by the Nissan dealership. The first estimate for the car was $ 15,000. I asked if maybe the car should be totaled, it was a 2010, Nissan, valued at 18,500. Sudden Impact said, no it was know where near totaled. My total repair cost was $ 19,000. The insurance company said they would have totaled the car but Sudden Impact had already started repairs. I get the car and 4 months after driving it, I need new tires and brakes, (the car had 40,000 miles on it). I take it to my regular Nissan dealer. They say it’s a bit strange to need tires, but I get the work done. 3 months later I get oil change and the mechanic says I need new tires. They show me the uneven wear patterns on the tires, ask me about getting a front alignment. Sudden Impact had done a front Alignment when my car was in the accident. The mechanic at Nissan tells me I need to take my car back to Sudden Impact that the alignment is off. He says he isn’t going to work on it, but I need to get it to Sudden Impact.
I take it to them and tell them what the mechanic says, they say he’s just trying to sell me tires. Their mechanic finds nothing wrong with it. They keep my car for 4 days and then say that the rear alignment is now messed up and this has nothing to do with the accident. They tell me that the front alignment has nothing to do with the rear alignment. They say they fixed my car and this new stuff is from something else. They suggest I may have had another accident.
I see lots of positive reviews on here, but my experience was horrible. Two independent mechanics, told me that Sudden Impact need to go back and fix my car. Sudden Impact said no they had fixed it. Once things became a problem, the customer service was horrible. Treated me rude and acted like I was a problem.

Knocked my side mirror off and in a week mirror came in drove down and in 20 minutes I was off again. Recommended

The worst! Brought my car in for body damage that was to the rear of my vehicle & after picking it up weeks later, I got it home, went to open the back door to take my baby out of his car seat & the handle fell off. Went to get groceries later in the day and the handle on the other side fell off.
Great job guys! The damage wasn’t even anywhere near the car handles.

I called to see what it would cost to paint my trunk and bumper and was told that it started at $ 4,500.00 yes not $ 450.00 but $ 4,500.00 to paint. Omg it’s almost what my car is worth lol. how do they stay in business?

My vehicle got into a hit & run accident and I was devastated. I didn’t know where to get it fixed and a family member referred me to Jose at Sudden Impact.
Not knowing what to expect, I scheduled a time for an estimate and headed down to the shop. I was greeted by warm smiley faces by the girls up front, a big ‘ol cute dog laying on the floor and a firm hand shake by Jose. The estimate was fast & painless, I left my car and they started the repairs.
Originally my car was supposed to take 5 business days but my insurance company was slow and it ended up taking 10 business days. As long as my car got fixed properly, I didn’t mind. I liked that they took their time and did it right. I also loved the fact that this was a down-​to-​earth family run business. Also, the girls called me every Tuesday & Thursday to keep me in the loop on the status of my vehicle.
When I went to pick up my car I was elated!!! They did an absolutely fantastic job… my car looked brand spankin’ new!!! And they went above and beyond by leaving me a t-​shirt & a coozie, they detailed my car beautifully and they even buffed out my headlights!!!
I am definitely a happy customer and would recommend this shop to anyone looking for repairs. They do awesome body work and paint. I will be a long time customer for sure…
