Sky Point Landing

Sky Pointe Landing is THE WORST apartments ever. They let under aged punks that are tenants of the apartments also terrorize the tenants & do nothing about it. The assistant manager JJ is no help at all. He actually helps the delinquents with information. I have never been able to talk to the manager. I’ve been harassed 23 times in the last 8 months. My front door has been peed on, spit on, egged twice, food thrown on, dirty socks left on the door handle, pee in baggy left on door, door hit with basketball, etc… A metro detective Barbara Morgan is now handling this horrible situation. Please share my story & NEVER let any friend or relative try to move in here for the «good move in deal».

Oh boy where do I start? This place is so horrible I was more than happy to pay the $ 2,000 to break my lease. For starters the units are over priced considering how out dated they are. Whenever there’s an issue and you need to get a hold of someone in the office they never pick up the phone! And when you finally DO get a hold of someone in the office they always have an attitude. Specifically JJ & Harry. JJ always has a SASSY arrogant attitude, and thats putting it in a VERY nice professional way haha fortunately they have one staff member that is always helpful, Jesse. He is always concerned and polite and more than willing to help out. Other than that, the location is convenient and close to the highway which makes my commute easier. The maintenance people are friendly and efficient. So other than that, i would advise NOT TO SIGN A LEASE HERE. This review would have been written differently if I’ve had better experiences in the office and they fired more than half the staff.

These guys are rude jerks, wont even accept a package on behalf of a resident thats not home. Most complexes will out of courtesy to their residents. What a joke

Everything in my apartment is pretty much broken and I just moved in 2 months ago. I literally mean everything. It’s almost as if I jack leg put the apartment together. If I could go back and not sign my lease I would. it’s quiet the parking sucks. and I’m convinced they’re in cahoots with the towing company but the good news is the towing company has a class action lawsuit against them for illegally towing people. How ironic? I love my neighbors they’re really nice people and laid back.

The area is charming and right across the bridge and within walking distance from a major shopping area. Very convenient. The apartment complex is great and people are usually friendly. Lots of kids. The classic apartment that we have is a deluxe classic and it’s very quaint. The kitchen appliances are a bit outdated but we work with them just fine. The buildings themselves though are a in need of repair in my honest opinion. Every soft step our new neighbors make above us makes the most horrible creaking noises and at times sounds like they’re coming through the ceiling. Unnerving indeed. The pet deposit is way too expensive, so we have to have someone watch our cat until we can save up enough just to bring her in. My children really love the area and their bus stop is right around the corner. The complex is absolutely amazing with all it’s features. Maintenance is really good about getting things fixed for us, so that’s a plus. There are only very minor issues that bother me. All in all, we’re pleased with this place.

They assured me that I would qualify for a low deposit, then came back with the highest possible deposit required. No big deal, I’ll just go somewhere else. Except, they told me I could «hold» my chosen apartment for a $ 200 fee, but I can’t seem to get them to send me a refund when I decided to live elsewhere. It’s been over two weeks and no one will give me my refund or return my calls or respond to my emails. I just want my $ 200 back.

I don’t know how I managed to finish my lease here but all of a sudden I owe you guys $ 1200? This is ridiculous. I contacted the office and your whole staff is nice but don’t know who I would talk to about this. I know one of your managers were fired from stealing. I’m guessing she probably took my last months rent with her to because you guys had no problem taking it. Don’t move here, it’s a trap. If I could post 0 stars I Would but it leaves me no choice

I moved in two weeks ago and I find the staff very helpful. I see most of these reviews are old. I didn’t have any of the problems the other people did. I rented one of the renovated units and it is beautiful. New appliances and nice cabinets. I love the wood look floors too. I have a dog and they made it very easy for me to move in. Everyone in the office is nice and called me by name. They told me they have only been here a short time, but they really helped me with everything. They even gave me all the stuff I needed to get my utilities on too. I think I will call this place home for a while, very happy.

Wow. Went to look at this place this morning and I can’t believe that they can rent anything. Thank the lord that I Unilocal everything first then go and look. I would not have believed all these bad reviews if I had not seen this for myself. How do they rent any apartments here at all?

If I could pick a zero I would!!! They offer great move in specials and have low rent for the nice centennial hills area. And you will find out why!!! This place is garbage the carpets were extremely dirty walls had awful patch work done upon move in. We had Bug EVERYWHERE, they claim to have a bug a bug guy although I’ve never seen him once. I had to spay out own place. In two months we found 57 Roaches dead on our patio alone. The staff is rude and acts like you’re a burden if you need help. My water heater broke twice and took them 5 days each time to replace it. DO NOT MOVE HERE!!! And like everyone else has said regardless of how your apartment looks when you move out they will try to fuck you with crazy charges.

If I could give this place a 0, I would. Where do I begin. The place smelled like dirty dog when I moved in. The people who live there don’t clean up dog poop. My children stepped in it multiple times while walking to the car or playing. There was even dog poop on the wall around the play area. My child put her hand in it while climbing out. My friends apartment was broken into, my boyfriends car was broken into, my daughters scooter was stolen off of the patio, and my neighbors garage was broken into. Lots of cockroaches and ants. I know another women who lived here and moved at right when I was moving in and they nickle and dimed her. I thought, «If I take care of the place and clean it when I move out, I won’t get charged all that money.» I spent two days cleaning and touching up paint. I was told on the move out, I wouldn’t owe anything above my deposit. A year later, I got a letter from a collection agency for an unpaid move-​out bill from this place. Never once did they call or send a letter to my home. I didn’t have the move out sheet any longer, and I had to pay. Don’t bother cleaning or touching up paint, they will still charge you. Also, keep your final walk through form. This place is the worst place I have lived in 3 different states and over the last 2 decades. There are other, nicer apartments for cheaper or the same price. Try Broadstone Montecito on Grand Teton. I wish I would have gone back to live there rather than here. Terrible! Terrible! Terrible!

May daughter lived there for a year. Cute apartment and nice view from her patio. That is why the stars at all. The management is terrible. There was an incident where a office worker stole rent money orders. My daughter had to jump through ridicules hoops to get the matter settled (thank goodness she had insisted upon a copy of her money orders each month). The entire time being bullied by management that threatened late fee, recharge for the month, legal action etc. NEVER could get a return call from anyone of authority. Finally after 4 months that was settled. Then time for a new lease. They kept telling her «about» figures on how much rent would go up at new lease things like «I don’t know anywhere from $ 40 to$ 75» nothing she could plan on or make decision on to stay or go. She chose to find a new apartment, gave notice they tried to get her on $ 900 for extra month rent. When they couldn’t get that to go after she moved they sent her a cleaning deposit bill for $ 900 for things that were not at all dirty/​broke/​etc… cute complex but beware of the management if you chose this place.

So, you are thinking of moving to Sky Pointe Landing? You better think twice. I’ve lived here for 4 years, and it was great as Eagle Crest. The new management (Sky Pointe Landing) is an absolute joke!
It’s great they renovated the leasing office, it looks beautiful. Now, they have to pay for it. How do they pay for it? By letting anyone live here. New tenants bothering you? Call the office and complain 6 times in a month and nothing is resolved. Homeless people digging through the dumpster at 6am making all kinds of noise bother you while you are trying to sleep? Call the office another 6 times and nothing happens.
If you like hip hop music, Sky Pointe Landing is the place for you. Here, you will hear it shaking you walls from both tenants and cars in the parking lot. And it’s played at all hours of the day and night. I leave here on 5 days and I absolutely can’t wait.

Staff here is horrible. Apartments are in dire need of repairs. The staff rather put money into a club house then make necessary repairs to units. Large majority of units have no heat and maintenance crew can’t even do basic repairs yet alone repair heaters for freezing families. Go elsewhere!

I moved out and left it clean! They charged me $ 1200 on stuff that dosnt make sense like stove bowls they charged me $ 100 on that! Then told me i ahould of gone to dollar tree and could of goten them for $ 1! Wtf! Bad service all the tjme and there maintnance sucked ass and slow! My car got broken into thr first week there im sure security had some influence on that too! Worst apartments ever dont ever move in! Pool is never open and only have 2 guest in their pool wtf! Worst apartments ever?

I lived here for 3 years. It’s cheap and too far from everything to do in Vegas. Except mount charleston. The maintenance staff are too slow and hate their jobs. The office are cunts and don’t care about their tenets. We got our cars egged by some teenagers. Lots and lots of bugs. The mail room is a joke! Gym? What gym?!! Pool? A pee pool for the many kids! Too many damn cats! It’s like the lion king. Walls are too thin, you can hear everybody!!! Oh and how they bill you for water is ridiculous! Also we bought a house and just renewed our lease and the office was like sucks to be you! We had to pay rent for not even living there!

I have to put at least one star to post this, but it’s more like a zero. I am so happy to be leaving this place next week. The people who «work» in the office are jokes. They are a bunch of PMS’ing women who never forget to put sticks up their butts each morning. They always make you, the tenant, feel like you’re a bother. I hate going up there or even calling. They lose papers, don’t call if they have packages for you, etc. And don’t be surprised if you’re out of water for hours! The complex has had several issues with valves this year. All in all, don’t bother living here if you can help it.

I do not live here. However I am apartment hunting and passed by this place and here is what I saw. Buildings are swamp green, terrible color. Office is so outdated its ridiculous. Staff is nice, and they make it seem like its the best place on earth to live at when its far from true. The apartments inside are large, so much room, but the issue is everything is old and outdated. Also it honestly does not look like the safest place.

Oh Eagle Crest Apartments. . the memories! I lives here when I first moved to Vegas back in 2008 and I had completely no idea that this was not the best part of town to live in. I’m glad I soon realized that the Southwest was the place for me!
I didn’t have a job in Vegas yet but I had decent credit and money to put down on a deposit so I was quickly approved and ready to move in within 15 minutes of my first visit. It appeared clean and safe and the price was right for a 2 bedroom at $ 795 a month.
What I learned in my 2 months at Eagle Crest:
*It’s not the safest neighborhood with a lot of loitering Mexicans and gangster teenagers.
*Maintenance is slow or doesn’t really care if the plumbing is jacked and causing a flood in the kitchen or the washer doesn’t work or the electrical outlet shocks the hell out of you! EEK!
*You can’t have a nice car, it will be vandalized
*You don’t want wander around at night if you are a woman
*The pool is not available half the time
*The office staff is less than knowledgeable and not really helpful at all
Needless to say I only stayed until I got a job and got out of there ASAP!

This place is a joke. I really don’t want to write this lengthy review because it will just get me all worked up and I don’t want to spend a Sunday like that.
Here’s the deal: we rented from them for around 2 – 3 years, in that time the following happened:
–The front desk lady tried to steal a cell phone that was sent there (due to insurance on the phone… it said what it was on the outside of the package). She acted like it wasn’t delivered, then I actually kicked it under her desk.
–Bugs. Bugs and more bugs. We would ask to get sprayed and they acted like it was a massive inconvience for their staff.
–Maintence staff was horrible. They ALWAYS smelled like stale cigarettes and were NEVER friendly. My dishwasher broke 3 times, and flooded the kitchen all 3 times, apparently that was my fault. It was never fixed in 3 years.
–Final straw: move out. Long story short, we moved out and they told us we did not need to do a final walk-​thru since the Mgr was busy; but to leave the keys with her and check our contact info. We did. If there was any discrepencies they would contact us. The wife and I spent 5 days (8 hours a piece) cleaning, painting, shampooing carpet, etc. Almost 8 months later we receive a letter from an attorney’s office saying that we owe the apartment complex almost $ 3,000 in damages-​having never contacted us.
When we contacted the apartment complex, they said they were not legally allowed to talk to us, but assured me that if it had been turned over to a lawyer that they had attempted to contact us at LEAST 3 times (2 phone calls and 1 by US Mail), none were received. They had wrote down our address in-​correctly (2890 instead of 2809, even though it WAS correct on the sheet). They also ASSUMED my cell phone area code was 702, but it is not and never was (also on the sheet).
We settled with a collection agency in the long run…
This place is horrible, do not treat people like people, and were never ever friendly.
I will always let people know to not rent here due to the way I was treated.
