Mixed feelings about this place. We ordered a recliner about 10 or so years ago. It still works perfectly well and has really held up — no sagging, all mechanicals working properly. I gave it to my children when they moved out as I want a power recliner and that one had the bar on the side. They had a 30% off power and leather sale recently. Since the chair I wanted now was both power and leather, I went in to see if I could get what I wanted. The power chairs with the different motors for adjusting lumbar and head as well as legs and back are wonderful and this is the only place I know that has those options. But you will pay dearly for that comfort. The chair I ended up with was over $ 2000, tax and delivery included, even with the 30% off sale! I’m waiting for it to be delivered because it is semi-​custom but I anticipate it being comfortable. However, the reasons for the lesser star rating is some of their wacky policies. Since this is a chair, we were going to save money ($ 70) by picking it up in my husband’s truck. If you go that route, they will still charge you $ 39 to have it delivered to the store. What? Why? That is ridiculous. When you discuss (argue) these silly policies, they pretty much just shrug their shoulders and say «company policy» as if they have absolutely no control — and maybe they don’t. Because they are corporate owned now (changed over two years ago according to store manager), they will not (cannot?) negotiate costs for anything. I asked if they had a warehouse where we could pick it up for free. No. Also, even if I paid the $ 39 and picked it up myself, I’d have to sign off on it (after inspecting it in the store). If I bring it home and put it together myself and then have a problem, I’m out of luck since I signed off that it was perfectly fine. Um no, not doing that so I paid the money for delivery. Very bad business practice and nothing to be done about it! The next reason for the lower star rating is their policy for custom orders. Their pricing policies are really arcane! I really wanted a bright red leather for my new chair and they offered it in a lower grade leather than the standard one on the chair I ordered. But even though it was a lower grade leather, it wasn’t an included leather option for this chair so the custom price was $ 500 more for a lesser quality leather. Huh? They really make it almost impossible to make your order custom without paying through the nose (which I’m already doing — $ 2000 for a CHAIR?)! Apparently there’s a set of fabrics/​leathers for each model chair that you can choose as semi-​custom for that chair without changing the price much. But go outside that standard set and you’re going to pay A LOT for the privilege. I decided on the wine colored red that didn’t cost me any more money. Definitely NOT what I wanted but acceptable. The staff was friendly. Because they don’t work on commission, they don’t hassle you but they also aren’t running to meet you at the door to help you out. Overall, I’m hoping I’ll be happy with this purchase because I’ll be able to make adjustments to my chair to make it most comfortable for me but I’m paying a lot for that and not getting everything that I wanted. Hence my mixed feelings and 3 stars instead of 5.

Horrible store policy. I wanted to get a power recliner chair for my 88-​year-​old dad.
He is too disabled to go into the store and try one out so I looked online and found what I thought was one of their top-​of-​the-​line chairs; The Clayton Luxury Lift power recliner with massage and heat. (It had one good review and now I’m thinking it must’ve been an employee that reviewed it.) I called the Centennial store and she agreed that I was buying the right one for a man his size; 6 feet tall. I ordered the chair and it was delivered within a few days. It was very uncomfortable for him. The arms are very low and the chair sits up very high; it’s hard to explain but he didn’t sink down into it or look comfortable. We all took turns trying it and it was NOT a comfortable chair; my elbows wouldn’t even touch the arms. So within three days of the delivery, my husband went back to the store to make arrangements to have it picked up and get a refund. –By the way, the tags are still on it and it is in brand-​new condition since we all just sat in it to try it out. They told us they would have to charge him a 30% restocking fee! I thought that was very unreasonable. I was expecting a 10 to 15% restocking fee but 30%! That amounts to over $ 690! She said it is store policy with NO exceptions! No exceptions? Not even for an elderly senior on a limited income? Shame on you La-​Z-​Boy

store was quick to take our money and sell us the stuff. However when it comes down to customer service it sucks and the people there refused to help. Trying to contact customer service was impossible, when calling the store back and informing them of the problem we were told that they use the same number we do and that she calls it everyday and gets through. Well asked her to leave our info when she makes one of those calls she refused claiming she dosent have time to wait on hold. think about that. go figure. Had other prior chairs and noticed that the metal etc has become lighter and bends when it should not. Looks like company that purchased them us cutting costs hence the extreme wait times on hold. Time to look elsewhere folks if you want a decent product and some reasonable customer care. They are not cheap and in the past almost no problem with their chairs but my new chair is the one and i have 3 new ones so here we go. my advise is to find a different product and inspect before u buy and compare just good sense we relied on our previous goods and that was a mistake. hope this helps you

I found a reclining couch and a chair that I really liked. The sales team was great but the manager killed the deal. If you want to pick up the furniture instead of having it delivered, they charge $ 39. That’s right, the customer pays to have the merchandise delivered to the store! When I questioned it, the store manager said people pay it (he was very smug about it). Anyway, we decided to have it delivered and I questioned the $ 99 delivery fee. I said it was more than his competitors (RC Willey). He told me to shop at RC Willey! Okay! No problem!!! I left the store. First time in that store too. Before leaving, he offered to pay ½ the delivery charge. Not sure if I’m doing the deal or not. I don’t like rude people and he was pretty rude. I gave 2 stars because the sales team was good.

Since we stream a movie almost every night, we wanted to be comfortable. We were looking for quality and were willing to pay extra for it. We bought their overpriced recliner sofa and recliner loveseat.
After a few days we found the point of a staple sticking out a had to get some down to deal with it. I also complained that the armrest cushioning seemed to be compress. He said it was from packing & shipping, and that it would pop up over the next couple of weeks.
Well it’s 2 years old now & it looks great, but the compressed arm rests have yet to puff up. And they when you recline there is a rear area of the arm rest that is totally uncushioned and has sharp wood edges & metal pieces that constantly hurt my elbow!
I previously had a $ 99 recliner that was more comfortable than these Lazy Boys! We wasted $ 1000s on this crap. Be warned that you will be buying a name, not comfort!

My mom bought a sectional sofa from them after sitting on the display that was in the store which was soft. After six months the cushions were still way too hard and when she called they told her just put the cushions on the floor and walk around on them. A little more than six months later the cushions are still as hard as a rock and so she calls back and is told she has to call the warranty people. So she calls and they tell her it is out of the manufacturer warranty. When she explains that she called six months ago and what she was told they don’t care the answer is the same. So she’s like OK I need to order new cushions then. Even though they know the exact couch she ordered and the dimensions they insist that they have to send someone out to measure which costs $ 130 and then the only density of cushion they will give her is what she already has on the couch. No one in my family is ever going to purchase from them again. This is not the first problem she has had with them.

I would give this place no stars if I could. I walked in looking to purchase a bedroom set and the employees looked at me and just ignored me. Not one out of the 3 acknowledged us we browsed a little to see if they would approach is but nothing so we left. I would rather buy from anywhere else.

Came in late on a Monday and worked with Jason. He was patient and explained all the features and made sure our measurements fit what we wanted. Quick and efficient delivery on Thursday.
CJ was helpful in writing out a diagram of our configuration and gave us the easements for making sure the reclining ends didn’t hit our walls.
I’m so glad this was our first and last stop in finding a sectional. We also got quite a deal on the entire purchase and my sectional is super comfy and fits my décor perfectly.
Between measurements, choosing a sectional, checking inventory and getting us set for delivery it took two hours max. Jason is an awesome salesman and wasn’t a hard sell at all. I will definitely let my friends know about this store.

Walked around the whole store and nobody approached me, not even once! Obviously they don’t wan’t my business. I’m even writing this review as I try one of their couches and after this I am walking right out.

The finishing touch on my visit and purchase was the delivery and set up. Alex and his crew were so professional. They called about 30 min out and arrived on time. They set up the furniture like it was their own.
Nancy from the design team arrived exactly when the delivery crew arrived and made sure everything was correct and placed properly.
The overall experience with this company has been outstanding. I hope more people remember that Lazy Boy has been around for many years, sells made in America furniture and has a team of employees that really know how to do their job.
Thanks again and we will see you when it is time to work on the next room in our home.

If you do find yourself at this store, run! They promise the world but don’t keep their word! If you buy insurance as we did, they don’t honor it! If you like feeling like you have been taken advantage of, then by all means — go there!

We have purchased La-​Z-​Boy for many years. We always found the quality to be excellent. Until now. We purchased a full living room of furniture; custom chairs,
couch, & tables. We are very disappointed with the tables. Two of the three were damaged. We waited nearly a month and a half for the repairs. The lift top table is still not working properly. Although the sales staff was very good, the best experience was with NANCY, the decorator. She is awesome.
Unhappily, the next furniture purchase will not be with La-​Z-​Boy. Although I like the traditional look, the product is not what is used to be. I am sure I can get the same
quality for much less money. In addition, the wait for both the furniture and the repairs was annoying. The repair service seems very unorganized. They do not return calls.

We went there wanting furniture for a sitting room in our new house. We weren’t really sure what we wanted… That’s when we got lucky.
We talked to the manager and told him our situation and he set us up with Nancy. She was a God send! She came and measured our space, put together some great layout ideas and fabric ideas. She was very patient with us (we aren’t the quickest decision makers) and we couldn’t be happier with the room. She got us to step outside of our normal style choices a little and we’re so glad she did. She even came when they delivered and helped set up the room the way we discussed. Pictures on the wall and everything.
It was a great experience, one we wouldn’t mind doing again.

The BF and I wanted to browse furniture stores and see what we can find nearby our house before spreading out through the valley. This isn’t a spot known to have contemporary style, but ranges from traditional/​old fashioned to classic. I’m okay with classic so long as it’s quality which La-​Z seems to have a reputation of. I can give the room some flair through accessorizing it.
We are in the market for a couch and found a leather sectional that could work well for us. The guy helping us was non pushy about the way they were selling and describing items, gave us some space to browse too and wrote up a sheet for us with all the info in case it was what we went for. I cannot remember his name because I’m horrible at them, but it’s a guy with a southern accent from Florida. He definitely has good customer service and answered all our questions.
They were having a 36 hour sale that ended the next day at noon and with it being one of our first stops we were not ready to jump the gun on something having seen only this store.

Hubs and I went in there to check out what they had. I felt like the lady who approached us was judging us and kept saying if we really wanted to look around, since we can order online. After I told her that I’d still like to walk around, she asked what I needed. When I said I was looking for a bedroom set, she told us that it would cost about $ 5000 and if we still wanted to look around. Excuse me? Who are you to judge if I can afford it or not. I felt unwelcome and didn’t feel like this place was worth my money or time.

We got one reclining lounge seat and loved it so much went to get another. We were devastated to find out the color was discontinued with in 8 months. We were told they could order it since someone found some left over material. The new couch was financed even though it wouldn’t be here for 8 weeks. Then the next day lazy boy said we needed to put down ¹⁄₃ in cash (600) for a guarantee or we couldn’t have the coach. I explained that I don’t think that’s fair because we are getting a discontinued product. So we didn’t order a new coach

Mmm, thumbs down. Furniture has traditional look and kind of old fashion. Not much contemprorary/​modern stuff here. Sales staff is pushy and a little rude. But hey, you can customize the fabric on most pieces of furniture.
