Dr. Shiva K.

Business Owner

Dr. Shiva Keshmiri studied Biochemistry at the University of California at Northridge before attending UCLA School of Dentistry in 1991. Dr. «K» received her DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in June 1995 and spent a further year at UCLA to complete her residency as a General Practitioner. As part of her continuing education, she has since completed special training in Orthodontics (three years), Implantology (9 months at USC), Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Pediatric (children) dentistry, care for gums and numerous infection control programs.

Dr. K has been working in private practices concentrating on family dentistry in Southern California and in Las Vegas since 1996. She particularly enjoys working with children and young adults which is reflected in her professional qualification.

Dr. K is now a resident of Las Vegas and is the president and owner of Sahara Dental Center.

Best dental office … Everyone is friendly and helpful… Dr Keshmiri started me on invisalign in no time at all, the staff is always friendly makes my visits so much more pleasant knowing she is my doctor

I was so nervous about my visit but the front desk lady, i think her name was Daniella, was very welcoming. The dentist talked me all the way through it and made me feel very comfortable!!! Thank you Sahara Dental

Disappointing experience and expensive. After billing my insurance plus charging me the same amount out of pocket I continue to have the same problem I saw them for. My co-​workers with the same insurance paid one half as much at other dental offices for same procedure.
Temporary crowns were put on my two front teeth on a Friday. One fell off that night and the other fell off the next day. I phoned the office Saturday morning and was told to use toothpaste to secure the temps. No one would see me, I went without front teeth until Monday morning. When the temporary crowns were reapplied they were stained with dental glue and were now buck teeth. It was a great two weeks at work looking like a freak. But «its only temporary» said the office.
On a positive note the Dental tech that performed my deep cleaning was wonderful.

The in house WHITENING PRO is just a myth and you will never get it. They always bring a reason for not doing it and postpone it. NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE!

Waited an hour after my appointment time for Dr Greg Welsh. The price for the initial visit double from what I was told before I came in. Staff was not helpful nor did Dr. Welsh care. I left and went to another dentist.

I’m very lucky to have come across this office! The staff made me feel very comfortable given the fact that dental offices make me nervous. The prices are very reasonable especially with the wonderful service you receive. I appreciate how informative the staff were with walking me through my entire visit. I will definitely be returning!

5 stars isn’t enough for how amazing Sahara dental is. Not only was my procedure ENTIRELY pain free, but the staff was also so friendly and professional. Honestly, I’ve been to so many dentists in my life, but they’re the only office I truly felt like they listened to all my concerns and kept my health as priority #1. I highly recommend Dr. Keshmiri to anyone, most especially if you’re looking for a permanent dentist! I live in LA but I have made the drive to Vegas just for them! Seriously, they are one in a million!

My experience with Sahara Dental is simply unparalleled to any other experience I’ve had with a different dental care provider. From the moment I stepped foot through their doors I was greeted with absolute care and welcomed with warm smiles and genuine assurance by the outstanding staff who cater at the front desk. I was consumed with great conversation with the front desk, they treated me like family.
As soon as I was called by the technician, she was very pleasant as well and talked me through what to expect. After a very short wait, the doctor came in and asked if I had any concerns. She assured me that my concerns will be put to ease. I will not go into details but to sum up my visit, it was outstanding from start to a complete and satisfied end. Definitely coming back here for my future dental care as well as the care of my family. Because my family only deserves the best!

I am normally very scared of the dentist but after going to Sahara Dental I was treated like a queen. Dr. K & her staff were GREAT very helpful & informative. The fees were very reasonable. Sahara Dental will be my dentist for life.
