I have seen signification changes over the years. With many new gated communities springing up in the city (think pool and exercise center), where strip malls and outdoor recreation flourish. Summerlin, Red Rock Country Club, Anthem and Henderson (all just minutes away from the Strip), all are major hot spots. Also the year-​round sun makes it like a vacation every weekend. In other words, Las Vegas isn’t just nightlife, and it isn’t that different from other cities with young professionals. Its popularity is due in large part to the good weather and the cheap cost of living. Did we mention there’s no personal or corporate state income tax in Nevada?
