Rabbi Shai Specht-Sandler

We found Rabbi Shai online looking for a reformed Rabbi who would marry us as my husband is Jewish and I am not. He met with us a couple times before the wedding and we knew that he was a perfect fit. He has a wonderful personality, a beautiful voice, and was a huge hit at our wedding. He worked with us for exactly what we wanted and fit our personalities and relationship the best. All of our guests, and especially those from Israel loved him. He provided us a beautiful ketubah for our wedding as well. We would definitely recommend him to everyone!

I can’t speak highly enough about Rabbi Shai Specht-​Sandler. He married us in 2014. Prior to the wedding, he led us in several pre-​marriage counseling sessions. His sessions were insightful and meaningful without being too lengthy! As we lived across the country from Rabbi Specht-​Sandler, he held the sessions virtually via Skype which was perfect for our busy schedules. The service he created was meaningful and special, taking into consideration our preferences. He truly listens to what you want and incorporates it. Rabbi Specht-​Sandler has an AMAZING singing voice — it is truly beautiful and added a special touch to our ceremony that I was not expecting! In addition to the pre-​marriage counseling and officiating our wedding, I sought advice from the Rabbi regarding my relationship with my husband prior to our engagement. He gave me sound and thoughtful advice that helped me reflect on my relationship and make it stronger going into our engagement. Overall Rabbi Specht-​Sandler is not only an amazing Rabbi and coach — he’s just an outstanding person. I feel privileged and lucky to know him and would highly recommend him to anyone whether it’s in coaching/​counseling or creating a meaningful and special wedding ceremony!
