Just had oil changed and tire rotation. That evening I drove to work and my hubcap flew right off. I also noticed 2 scratches on my door! Next night, the other hubcap came off as I was driving. Now I’m wondering if my tires were put back on correctly!!! Never had a problem with coming here before and now I ain’t ever returning!

If you take your car here for an oil change or smog check, be prepared for them to try to pressure you into other repairs that will cost you at least a few hundred bucks.
They spent 10 minutes trying to tell us we needed to change the transmission fluid right away (among other things) because it smelled burnt. Guess what guys! The dealer replaced the transmission 1 month ago as part of a recall. Nice try though.
Other than that, it took a little longer than I thought it would for an oil change.
Overall, probably will be our last time going here.

I have to say that my experience with this shop this far has been amazing! Went in for a smog knowing that I was going to fail since I had my check engine light on, a mechanic I had taken it to the week before had changed a part only for the light to come back on and said he wasn’t able to get to it til the following Monday. They quoted me a price and told me they can service my car today, so I wouldn’t have to wait they are very straight forward with their business and don’t try and rip you off. Since I hadn’t planned on getting it done and had no ride they even went as far as dropping me to my apartment that was 7 mins away so I wouldn’t have to wait there, talk about going above and beyond for their customers! They found a lot of mistakes the other shops have made with my car and are actually getting to the bottom of this annoyance of continued check engine light fiasco! I will not go anywhere else now that I’ve found such honest, and amazing service!

WOW !!! What a pleasurable experience. Coming from California I needed a good mechanic. I stopped by Purrfect Auto and had a couple things done to my Hyundai.
I can’t say enough how the manager Tomas treated me. He is one of the trustworthy, nicest, manager of a auto repair facility. His brother R.J. and Ron was great as well.
If you need a great auto shop that will treat you like family Purrfect Auto on Washington Street is the place to go!!!

This past Saturday (10/​17/​2015) I was returning home from grocery shopping and my neighbor flagged me down for help. Her 2000 Toyota Camry was having issues. Starter clicking, didn’t want to turn over, when it did start, idled very lopey. I figured battery was dying so we tried to jump it, didn’t help. She told me she used purrfect right nearby as her go-​to repair shop. We managed to limp the car over there where I tried my best to describe the issue to the mechanics, as my neighbor was not the most mechanically inclined not does she speak great English. It was there that I met RJ, and one of the main mechanics (blanking on his name but he drives a nice 80 series landcruiser.) I had pulled up in my 83 toyota pickup and seemed to make friends quickly. My neighbor faired well as they diagnosed the issue with her car as timing related, and changed her belt and water pump for a mere 600 dollars, which, having paid for and done this job myself, is a tremendous deal. So not only did they take care of her, but I managed to find a knowledgable toyota mechanic, who is very offroad savvy. I certainly know where I will be headed for estimates first. Thanks guys, for taking care of my neighbor, and carrying on a passion for toyota 4x4s. I haven’t been able to give you my business yet, and probably don’t want to (because I’m cheap,) but when I have to get something done in the future, I know where to come first for an estimate. Oh, forgot to mention they got my neighbors car back to her same day, on a Saturday. Unreal service from a new friendly staff at purrfect auto. Keep it up!

I recently visited the auto shop.

Very good service! I went there for their smog ($ 9.99), and they did their usual inspection and I found out that the dealership I bought my car at, took some shortcuts with the previous maintenance. They recommended what I needed to have the dealership look at since it is still under warranty. The customer service here was great and their professionalism is on point. I’ve been to other auto shops in the past (Sun auto), and they misdiagnosed and tried to get me to replace things that were brand new just to make money. Not this place, I will be returning to Puurfect Auto! Thanks again

My son took his car in recently for a smog check. Yes its a 2002 Hyundai with alot of miles etc. We were doubtful that it would pass and of course it didn’t. They said it was the transmission. He was having some issues with it not downshifting out or 4^th but this happened occasionally. The mechanics told us both front axles would need to be changed $ 400.00 Service/​Tune-​up $ 200.00 Diagnostics $ 50.00 Fuel injection cleaning $ 90.00 and a transmission fluid flush $ 90.00. Granted the car is probably not even worth that amount. I’m no mechanic but know enough. Decided to ask friends on suggestions of a shop to get a second opinion and was told to see shop on Sunset and Gibson Aloha Automotive. Guess what it passed smog! He explained that yes there is a «pending» code but it will not stop you from receiving a passing smog check. There was nothing wrong with the axles and yes the transmission will eventually go out and at that point the car should just be junked. To think that we almost threw close to $ 1000.00 down the drain. Beware!

I used to bring my car and my mom’s car in for regular tune ups and services, and there were no issues. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, and like many others have said, they are honest.
However, within the past couple of months, they’ve replaced the old crew with what seems to be an entirely different one, and the management is different too… I came in to fix my brake sensors because my car wouldn’t let me shift out of park without some difficulty, and let me just say this new crew isn’t the same. Not only did they leave my problem unsolved, but they basically charged me to make it worse. If that wasn’t the end of it, they also tried to tell me that I needed to replace my serpentine belt, which would also lead to work on the water pump… which would come out to nearly $ 700 alone without fixing my brake issue.
My car is still stubborn to shift out of park, and now my brake lights only work sometimes. The shop made a mistake by replacing the old team… I’m sad that I’ll have to go hunting again for a shop with mechanics that I can trust.

Thorough service, head mechanic let us know what needed to be fixed .

First time I went in was for a smog check and had a coupon from the Summerlin flyer! The lady at the front desk is very professional and Maurice the manager did the smog test and wrote a few things I needed in the future… He also fixed my husband’s BMW hoses and we will definitely be back to fix a few other things! They are great for women to come to and be assured you will be taken care of NOT taken advantage of…

This place rotated my tires. Next time I was in for an oil change and tire rotation, they said they could not rotate the tires because of broken studs on 2 of the wheels. Guess what? They broke them the last time, but how do you prove it. Also said I needed new front brakes and struts all around. I decided to take my car to the dealership. They fixed the studs and I did not need front brake job or struts. The dealership might be more expensive but you also don’t wait around for 4 hours. They drive you to and from home. Worth the price to go to the dealership.

This Purrfect Auto is top of the line with very honest mechanics. The Manager was so truthful with me and even told me what work I did not need done when other establishments tried to sucker me out of more money for useless work. I’ve been coming here for a while and have never had an issue.
One day I came in for an oil change during my lunch hour and in my work uniform. They were extremely busy so I was going to come back another day. The manager saw the uniform and new I only had a limited amount of time, he went ahead and expedited my oil change right away and I was in and out in record time. To me that is top notch customer service.

I have had very good service from thes location. Maurice is a great mechanic. I agree that any «negative» reviews must have been from YEARS ago. Great place to check out if you have any problems with the car. I drove from California to Nevada for a social visit. I hit a tire piece on the highway. My car started started making noise in the undercarriage. They checked and removed the plastic strip within five minutes. How much? I asked. No charge. Whoa! Great guys and gals to give me 5-​star service even though I had never been there before. Maurice was very professional and courteous. I would go there again if I need any auto service.

Found this auto repair because of oil change and smog test coupons. Went in for my smog test, and they wrote me an oil change coupon so I could get the low price when I came back. This is a big deal to me, because my car takes full synthetic oil which costs WAY more than regular. They also told me I would need new brake pads soon and quoted me a great price.
Yesterday, after digging around to find the oil change coupon, my husband and I took the car in for an oil change. While they were changing the oil, they checked the brakes, and called to let me know I needed new brakes and gave me an amazing deal to do it while I was getting the oil changed! That was enough to sell me on this place, but, even better, they showed me the parts. Actually took me into the bay to let me see the pads and showed me the rotors, so I would understand what they were talking about! Then they put ceramic brake pads on my car and got us out. It did take a while, but, honestly, it was nothing compared to the time it took CarMax just to change my oil. Plus, everyone who works there was friendly. This is my new go-​to auto service place!

The negative reviews on this place are all based on the previous owner/​manager. The new owner is great. There is nothing negative you could say about him.
This is the Purffect Auto Service in the same shopping center as K-​Mart and Trader Joe’s.
Tomas the owner is 1 of only 2 completely honest mechanics I have met in Las Vegas, and he will give you expert advice as well as «insider» advice. When I speak about insider advice, I’m talking about advice which will help you score giant deals on parts. For example, he informed me about a trick you can use to avoid the mounting costs at tire shops, and save like $ 200 on the total price of your tire installation. I tried it today at the tire shop, and it worked like a charm. Like I said, Tomas is one cool guy who is looking out for customers.
No matter how busy it is here, they always get me in and out in less than 30 – 35 minutes. I’m always impressed at his efficiency.
This is one of those places where they change your oil for less than it would cost if you did it at home. For around $ 13.00 they give you 5 quarts of conventional oil, a new filter, rotate your tires, top your fluids (transmission, engine coolant), check and fill your air pressure, and much more. And guess what else??? For this low price they give you 5w-​30 or 5w-​20, which is far more particular for your vehicle. Most «cheap» oil change places will give you 10w-​30, which is a «once size fit all» oil that does not work well in cold climates. Not here at Purrfect Auto, they only use the highest quality materials.
The shop itself is one of the most state of the art shops in the world. And with all their high tech equipment, they can return your car to you in less than an hour in most cases.
Because I do all my own car maintenance, I’m pretty good at spotting dishonest mechanics. Not many people can pull a fast one on me, and dishonest mechanics can’t rip me off. So, I’m a good judge of character. So that tells you a lot when I vouch for this business. You will have a great experience here at this Purrfect Auto.

I’m surprised that this place got such low ratings. Every time me and the boyfriend have come here we’ve had no problems whatsoever. The guy who works at the register is such an honest and friendly person (I can’t quite remember his name) but everytime I had a question he was able to answer it as best as he could.
We needed an oil change and went to a few places to check their prices. a bunch of them tried to charge us $ 30+ even though we have an old Honda civic. Didn’t sound right to us and so my boyfriend remembered his mom had a coupon for Purrfect Auto so we were like screw that! I cant remember if the coupon was for $ 14.99 or $ 10, either or it was less than $ 20. They changed our oil and we’ve had no problems since.
Just the other day we had to come back here because our Honda civic got broken into while my bf was at work. Some d-​bag messed up something in our hood but thank god they didn’t steal it, because our car HAS been stolen before.(but that’s another story)
Anyways, the jerk did something to our car and it started making rattling and screeching noises. We couldn’t figure out what it was so we took the car here to see if the mechanics could figure it out.
It JUST so happened that our car broke down as soon as we got there! Lucky, or else we would have had to call a tow truck, phew. The same awesome register guy was there and he was straight up about it, he said we would have to replace our starter because the car wouldn’t even turn on for them to figure out that rattling and screeching problem we were talking about. We said okay, and so off they went to work on it.
My only complaint was that it was freaking hot and their lobby is so small that they don’t have many seats for everyone whose waiting on their cars. Me and the boyfriend had to stand and walk around until a seat became available. However they did have AC inside so that’s ok. Another complaint would be time, I think it took about 2 hours for them to get to our car, but I can’t blame them because they had a bunch of cars that were before us to work on.
Anyway! Apparently after changing our old crappy starter to a brand spanking new one, the car was able to turn on! Yay! And magically the rattling and screeching noise disappeared! So there was nothing else we needed to do. Thank god, we thought we’d have to pay like thousands of dollars to fix our old Honda. Thanks again awesome register guy and Purrfect Auto!
