Two stars only for Michael who did my hair. He did a good job. I had called in 2weeks before to make an appointment. I let them know what services I had needed then they told me it’s not an issue. The day off I go to to confirm my appointment and they tell me it’s 55 dollars. Then I leave and they call me and say they can’t do what I want and to cancel my appointment. After I had made sure prior to coming in to see if they can actually do the service or not and they said they could. Then they told me they could and the price changed. The front desk people have no idea what they are doing and booking appointment for people when the stylists have no idea how to do the task. The manager was very unorganized and very rude and a mess. She seemed like she had a lot going on when I was literally the only person thete. Come on now you aren’t busy. The salon is old and needs a make over fast. Everything is old and needs an upgrade. The stations were a mess and dirty. I was not pleased at all. I will never ever be back. My total went from 55 dollars to 175 $ not worth it at all. My hair fell apart in just a few hours. But Michael was sweet so I feel bad writing this review but he was the only good thing about this place. This spa salon sucks!

Only 1 lounge chair & 3 other Chairs in the whirlpool room. No other lounge chairs in the day spa… what?!
Lack of snacks & beverages… Only Red & Green Apples… Hot coffee & Vanilla Roiboos Tea. Cool beverages: Lemon Water, Bottled Water, Canned OJ, Canned Cranberry Juice. Usually Spas have a larger Tea Selection & more Fruits & Nuts… Another guest was talking about this as well. She said Cesar’s Spa was better & thought since PH spa was a sister property that it’d be similar. No such luck.
The massage I had was good. I’ve had better. The seaweed wrap was put on me haphazardly… but it turned out ok…
+++The shower after the seaweed wrap was awesome!!! Weird, I know, but here’s the thing! It was a Steam Shower… So, as I’m rinsing the seaweed concoction off me, steam comes out from the corner of the shower engulfing me in its warmth! Oh yeah! So nice! Didn’t want to come out of there… but, had to… still had a massage to receive! Nice…
After my treatment & since I booked it early, I enjoyed the day spa after the massage. Ok, so next time I’m booking it later & enjoying the day spa (somewhere else) first…
— 2 showers were «Out of order», that left 3. Plumbing must be weak here too (check my PH review) because my shower backed up. I literally had to stop the shower, backup (cuz who wants to step in that) & wait till it drained. + There are nice soaps in the showers.
Nothing special about the other amenities, brushes, mouthwash, lotion, tampons (haha…poor men reading this! LOL‼), hair gel…
The steam room compares to the one at my gym… No Eucalyptus!!! Really? Ugh! But thanks for the iced cloths! :) Sauna… average. Whirlpool… nice but chlorinated. :/​
Clothing optional. ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ on that… Haha… Want to visit a Korean Spa (many more amenities) but I guess that’s 100% neked hahaha… still not sure about that…
Their products are awesome! I love the Elemis Frangipani! So exotic! That came home with me! See, not everything stays in Vegas! LOL‼
Not a bad thing to do while in Vegas… I guess if you’ve gotten drunk the night before, you could get the detox wrap & have it all sucked from your body! Hahaha

If you’re not a guest at the hotel, and not going for a spa treatment, there is no reason to come here. It’s $ 35 for a day pass, they have a large Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, 5 showers, locker area, lounge with a TV, water, juice and tea. No snow room, no thermal room, no shower jets, etc, nothing special for a major hotel. For the same money you get much more at MGM, and for an extra $ 10 you get much, much more at Qua inside Ceasar’s.

While service is good, pricing is deceptive. Discounts are advertised and offered. I got one from a card in my room. Reception said they would accept it. Due to a computer problem, they said they’ll process it later. A few weeks pass, I call and before I could explain, the lady on the phone said discounts are not applicable on promotions. I said I was promised the discount. After looking at another record by mistake, she said I got a promotion and couldn’t get a discount. When I said I didn’t get what she described, she found another account and said it was a promotion that couldn’t be discounted. It seems everything they offer is a promotion so there is no way to get a discount. Avoid them for false advertising. I hope the good employees find another spa to work because management is deceptive.

Pros:
–free amenities include the normal stuff (fancy shampoo and body wash, UV-​sanitized hairbrushes, etc) as well as pre-​pasted toothbrushes and razors. A step up from Qua at Caesar’s in that regard!
–Large relaxation room
–Aesthetic design
–Friendly staff once I arrived
Cons:
–A BIGGIE, due to safety. All Vegas spas are clothing optional. At this location, when you’re at the tea/​refreshments section, an open door had a direct line of sight to the men’s spa. This is absolutely unacceptable, and a staff member seemed taken aback when I asked to close the door. It is fair to have a rule like «robes required everywhere but Jacuzzi», but of course there was no signage or notifications to that effect. This is absolutely not okay.
–Only one hot tub and it was WAY too hot. None of us could go in all the way and sat on the edge, and when the staff member tried to cool it down, nothing seemed to change. Pretty bizarre.
–Only one choice of tea, and it was an herbal blend
–I was never put through on the phone… called twice and put on hold both times. When I arrived, there was certainly no line or high demand. Maybe it’s a call center???
–Not the spa’s fault, but the resort fee is required EVERY DAY at ph, so if you’re a guest, you’d might as well go since you’re paying for this! But there are MUCH better spas in Vegas.
I didn’t do any of the services… WAY too pricey.

I purchased the Groupon, plus 2 as a gift for my 2 sisters. Each Groupon included a body scrub, 50 minute massage and 50 minute facial. I made our appointments for 4:00 pm on Friday, with check in at 3:30 pm. At 3:05 I get a call asking where we were. I explained to her that the appointments were scheduled for 4:00 pm, not 3 because we were driving in from California so I wanted to make sure we made it on time. We were actually walking into the hotel as she called so we were a little early. When we got there the lady commented, «it’s the late-​birds». That pissed me off because we weren’t late, the girl who booked our appointments booked them at the wrong time. However, the place was empty so they were able to accommodate us.
Now while the architecture might be outdated and from the original Aladdin hotel, and therefore not easy to change, the furniture, décor and carpet are easy to change. The carpet was FILTHY as were the cushions on the chaises. They were so dirty the staff covers them with white towels. The ladies locker room is stocked with toothbrushes, feminine products, q-​tips, hair products, combs and hair dryers — everything you need after you shower — so that was nice.
Let’s talk about the actual scrub, massage and facial. I’ve never had a scrub so wasn’t sure what to expect. It was actually pretty neat and even though it was my first one, she seemed to have done a good job. The massage was AMAZING! Best massage I’ve ever had and I made sure to tell her that. The facial? The WORST I’ve ever had. Out of the 50 minutes, I laid there a good 30 of those minutes with steam hitting my face or a mask on my face. She also did a horrible job at removing product before applying another one. She started out with a massage on my face using oil, which I have never experienced before. I hated it! I have oily skin as it clearly stated on the forms I completed when we checked in. Oil is the last thing I want on my face.
My sisters received worse service. I at least had a great massage, while they had horrible facials and a mediocre massage.
The Groupon is not worth it! Listen to these other reviews and don’t be seen here. I can’t justify spending full price at the spas on the strip, so find a spa off the strip where the prices are a little more reasonable.

Omg !!! Ask for Meru when it comes to esthetics, good technique excellent service, I felt like royalty. She even help me pick out some lovely products. Totally made my day !!

Can’t speak for the spa, but with all the money PH appears to have… how is the gym equipment so old and out dated? The elliptical I was on didn’t even turn on. The weight equipment is from late 90s at best. Carpet is worn and stained. Come on! How are you suppose to feel like a rock star when you feel like you are working out in your uncles basement.

Check in was a breeze. Then it all went downhill.
I had a 50 min massage booked so got there early to enjoy the steam room. My one and only vice at the spa. «Oh, it’s out of order mam.» What? «Yes, the one at Paris is out of order too. We are waiting on a part».
Ok this may be a minor nick to some but for me, it’s the whole reason to get there early and stay all day.
Spa didn’t appear well arranged and it was smaller than a matchstick. Do t waste your time or money for such a subpar experience.
I left, and canceled my massage.

While the service I received from my massage therapist was great, my experience with the front desk was not that impressive.
I called on Monday to make an appointment for both me and my friend. We made 2 appointments at the same time and we each booked the appointment under our own names using our own credit card to hold the spot.
We arrived early as we wanted to spend time using the facilities. Upon check in, we were asked how we wanted to pay. I told the staff I wanted to use my debit card to pay (different from the card I reserved with) while my friend wanted to use cash (no card at all). They said this would be fine and could be done. We would be charged at the end of our service. As far as facilities go, there is a jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, not too many facilities to choose from. I know that there are some other spas at other strip hotels with more options but we were getting a good price and this was my first time at any spa so I was excited to try it.
My service was great and the lady who performed my massage did an excellent job. We went back to use the facilities for a while longer and detox from our vegas trip. The real trouble began when we went to check out.
Lucia checked us out. She ran my card before confirming it with me. In addition, they used my credit card that I had gave them the number for to hold the reservation for my service, and MY debit card for my FRIEND’S SERVICE. I was double charged and she had wanted to pay cash for her service anyway. I am not sure why they would charge a card before you come out (what if I had wanted to leave more tip for my massage therapist? The poor girl would have been missing out because they had already charged my card) and seeing how my service went. Lucia had to bring her manager, Gianni, over to fix the problem. I was asking him a few questions but he kept not letting me finish my questions and trying to soothe me by answering before I was done talking/​asking my questions. When a customer is unhappy, you should really hear them out.
I do not think it is acceptable for a company to charge a card without the cardholder being present. They need to ensure that their customers are approving transactions and happy with their services. They really need to rethink their policies and improve their customer service.
UPDATE: It is now the Monday following my service. I was assured by Gianni that the charge would not go through on my credit card as he cancelled the charge before closing his receipts for the day, but there is a POSTED, not pending, transaction to both my credit card and my debit card. My friend has also been charged so there are 3 charges for 2 services. I have called and they are trying to resolve but this is a mess. I wish I had never come here and had spent a bit more money to go somewhere where I would not have had this problem.

I just walked out of here $ 550 dollars poorer for a subpar massage and the worst facial to date. Granted, I don’t particularly care for facials. I don’t see the point in paying someone to repeatedly wipe on and wipe off various creams from your face. But after an hour of that, my face should be smooth, however fleeting the sensation. It wasn’t. I paid extra for «add-​ons» to the massage: an oil scalp treatment and a conditioning foot treatment. I made a point of asking the person at the front desk if these treatments added to the time of the appointment or merely took away from the massage. He had a really roundabout way of answering what I now know: that I paid extra for less massage. My feet are not particularly conditioned and I really could have done without the scalp nonsense. Oh, and the gratuity was mandatory. I certainly would not have given 20% for this. What a joke.

Spa is old and run down, but still as expensive as the nicer ones. Front desk is not helpful. Amenities are old and look like an old gym locker room.
Do not waste your time!

Compared to any other spas on the strip and even local spas like M and GVR this is WAY sub par on all fronts… For a Las Vegas Strip Spa in a nice Casino/​Hotel this was not a good experience at all. It’s extremely pricey, which is expected on the strip, but the spa better be NICE and the front desk and therapists better be ON POINT for those prices. No wonder why they have a Groupon deal, because even with that deal you will be highly disappointed. I wish I would’ve read these other reviews before purchasing the Groupon. The spa is VERY old (I think it was from when it was the Aladdin Casino, they never updated it!). It’s not only old… It was dirty! Dust bunnies in the corners in locker room, stained shower curtains, filthy black carpet and strings and crumbs and fuzz on it (I didn’t even want to step barefoot while getting changed!)… The spa robes were terrible, extremely itchy! I actually just wore my sundress because I couldn’t stand being that uncomfortable in a spa. The front desk staff is not on the same page with anything. They all need to be trained. The massage was not good. I won’t call the person out, but it was like they were making a stir fry with the amount of oil she «squirted» on me! And she squirted it right from the bottle like she was making an omelet. She didn’t put it in her hand and rub it on. At one point it was dripping down my neck onto my face when she was squirting it on my back :(Just not good. I’ve NEVER had a massage like that and I’ve had a ton of different massages. I left feeling disgusting. The facial by Cherisse was AWESOME! She was really good and she made the experience better. But other than her, the spa itself is really disappointing and I won’t go back. There are too many nice choices in Vegas. Oh and let’s not talk about how they «FORCE» you to give 20%. The manager has to call me back to «approve» the 15 percent I want to give the massage therapist instead. Gratuity shouldn’t be an automatic amount if the service was not up to standards. If they don’t remodel and take pride in their establishment I don’t know how they would stay in business. They can’t be doing well right now. Hopefully they step it up in the future! I’ve never wanted to leave a spa so fast or think it was a waste of a day ever :(

Poor customer service at front desk. Demanded tip up front prior to service, would not provide service without groupon printed out, although voucher on phone. Was forced to wander around Paris shops to business office to print voucher as spa refused to print there.
I was also forced to prepay my tip. Brittany up front kept saying ‘you should have read your groupon’ about the 20% tip, not realizing that some people prefer to tip after depending on customer service. (When I did read the fine print, tip is added at check out, not forced on check in.) I guess Brittany didn’t read the groupon herself.
Once in the service was great. Too bad the front desk ruined the whole thing. Oh. And I left an extra tip (another $ 40) for the masseuse and esthetician Laurie because they were super professional and funny. I would go back and pay full price if I didn’t have to deal with the chumps up front.

The spa is beautiful, serene and beautifully run. I called and got an appointment right sway. I got a quick wash and blow out by Cindy, who was wonderful. We connected right away and spent the time easily chatting away. By the time I realized it, my hair which was in terrible condition from all the chlorine from swimming, was shiny, manageable and flowing. Awesome, I was then wished away by an eyebrow technician who took me to this lovely quite room which smelled amazing. After a quick consultation, she gave me the most amazing eyebrow waxing I’ve had in a long time… The hair was 49.00 and with the eyebrows and a twenty percent tip for both Cindy and the eyebrow technician my total was 101.00. Terrific. Will definitely be doing it again. I got a massage yesterday which was spectacular, heck I even fell asleep, that’s how good it was.

Been here twice, it’s a decent spa for a hotel on the strip. Not the best but the price is affordable compared to the cosmo, aria, cesears and Wynn. They have great customer service though. Everyone was very helpful. The décor and the spa lounge was just not impressive. They need to do some remodeling. They are the same spa as the one in Paris and tropicana. Everything was average. I would come back if there was a good deal.

I have to say for a Las Vegas Resort spa this spa did not meet my expectations! I booked a 1hr facial and 1hr massage package for a Friday evening at 5pm. The spa closed at 7pm, which is when my last service would have ended. The massage was just okay, but the facial was horrible. She basically left a mask on my face for 25 minutes, with no facial massage, after she took the mask off she rubbed some cream on my face and left the room. That was it, the service was over. I look up to see what time it was and it was only 6:45pm. She finished up 15 minutes early. I guess she really wanted to get out of there. The worst part about the whole experience is they had an automatic gratuity of 20%. If it was up to me I would not have tipped 20% on the facial. Will not be back to this spa ever again!

Skip the spa here and go to a real spa. Aria, Qua (at Caesars), Sahra (Cosmo), really any other spa on strip.
I had a $ 99 groupon for an 80 min massage (automatic 20% gratuity on reg. price of $ 200, which added $ 40), and still feel like I got ripped off and the time spent was a waste. So anyone thinking about paying full price please take that into consideration.
My therapist was a guy and he LOVED using oil. I felt like a luke warm piece of fried chicken during and a cold piece after the treatment. I’m not kidding. While dressing back into my robe, I looked at the sheets and saw huge oil spots. I think massage oil can be a crutch for an unskilled therapist.
The amenities are OLD, no other way to describe. Carpet in women’s spa was frayed a bit and dirty/​old looking. Even the toilet and sink area looked really dated. I mentioned the women’s area to reception and they said its original to the Aladdin Hotel. I said believe me I can tell, I had been here a couple times back then (~10 years ago). Scary that nothing has changed. She didn’t say anything. I mean what can you say?
I do not consider myself high maintenance. I feel like anyone who seeks out a spa wants to pampered in a nice environment. This is not that place.

Review for the gym:
I don’t understand the point of planet Hollywood charging you resort fees when you book your room & you still get charged for only using the gym. For the free weights, cardio equipment, & weight machines the gym is decent but being ripped off for 25 bucks when every other hotel doesn’t charge to use the gym since its included in the resort fee is BS.
