ESPA at VDARA

I went here to get a acrylic full set and received mediocre service. The full set I got was messy and didn’t last long. Overall, the spa is beautiful, but don’t go here if you want acrylics. I asked if they supply their own products and I was told the company supplies it. Therefore, if you know your nail info. It’s better when they have their own products because they can buy expensive professional supplies. This makes ALL the difference when getting a full set. The powder, nail file, cuticle cutters, oil, and more were cheap and not efficient. Also, the square nail full set was $ 115 in all and I didn’t get a massage, cuticles cut, or anything like that. If you’re seeking a natural manicure and pedicure then this would work well for you! Very spacious and clean, but not the place for acrylics.

I constantly think of my experience at this salon, which was about a few months ago. I’ve been itching to go back and have my hair done again ever since! My boyfriend surprised me with an appointment here for a cut and style the morning after a night of partying for my 21^st birthday and the entire experience was so relaxing and enjoyable. The spa hosts were sweethearts! Marie was an angel and had me leaving the salon feeling like a million bucks. Seriously, I walked around Vdara and Aria feeling goooood about myself. haha. I cut off a LOT of my hair and Marie was actually suggesting that I cut it shorter than shoulder length (which I regret that I didn’t do because I want it shorter now) but, she really fixed me up. She got rid of my dead hair, gave me the length and style that I wanted, and even showed me how I could style it with a blow dryer and a curling iron. We had such a great conversation going that the hour and a half passed so quickly and I was out before I knew it. Best haircut experience I ever had.

I went to the Vdara spa for the first and last time for a small bachelorette party. Unfortunately, it also happened to be the same day that a fire occurred at the neighboring Cosmopolitan. As a result, Vdara was re-​routing its traffic and nobody could park there. Needless to say, based upon the traffic in general and now the re-​routing, I was a few minutes late to my spa appointment. The bachelorette was already there and notified the spa that I would be 5 or so minutes late based upon the ordeal with the fire. The spa attendant supposedly told her it was ok.
As soon as I got there, I was advised to head straight upstairs and that I would be greeted with the spa attendant. I went upstairs and there was nobody to be found. I found my way walking around the spa searching for someone. Once I found an attendant, I told her I was the one late for the bachelorette party. She gave me a robe, showed me the lockers and went on her way. I sat there for a few minutes not having any clue as to what to do next. I had a spa appointment booked for a massage but did not know the exact protocol, i.e., if the masseuse would find me. After waiting another five minutes, I went back to find the same attendant and ask about what to do for my massage. She said she didn’t realize I had a massage booked and that she would find my masseuse.
I finally got to my massage and honestly, the masseuse was nice and sweet. But, the overall experience was awful. I basically had a 20 or so minute massage and was forced to pay for the entire 50 minutes. The fact that a random fire caused me to be late as well as the spa’s attendant’s own failure to not assist me in getting to my massage at first did not account for anything. And, at check out, I wasn’t even told about the local’s discount. I had to bring it up and ask for it.
For such a swanky place, you should expect impeccable service. But, the service was nowhere near what it should be that day and unfortunately, I will likely never go back. I gave the extra star because the masseuse was nice.

Vdara, this is my first time coming here for a spa. There is a small workout area by the checkin desk for spa.
–price: $ 30 for existing customer which was not bad. The price is pretty much telling you the facility and quality of the spa.
–service: I think the service here is way more better than Cesar palace. They are very nice and helpful, they respect you as a customer
–environment: it’s very small spa, but they keep it very unique and clean.
–facility: there are one sauna room, you can definitely sweat out a lot, I like how they put the temperature high in the room. The room next to sauna is the eucalyptus room was the boom, you can feel the strong eucalyptus sense, and the steam was fused with the eucalyptus oil, my skin was kind of moisturizing and my nasal was getting better in the room. It really helps me sweet too. The jacuzzi was kinda small. Unfortunately there is no changing room for us, you have to get changed at the restroom which I don’t like it. The drying area was clean, they provide you with the salon products which can consider as a plus for their spa. They don’t have the spinning machine for your wet clothes, I hope they have it in the futit

Each year we stay at the Vdara, usually for my birthday. This equals a spa service from the hubby for me. Yay!
The staff is very knowledgable about all of their services when you call to reserve. They have several types of services to choose from such as facials and massages. I have enjoyed both.
When you go upstairs to the spa you will be given a locker to store your belongings, a cozy robe and a pair of slippers to slip into. You relax in the waiting area and enjoy refreshments available for you. Then an attendant will bring you back to a relaxing area to await your massage therapist or esthetician.
All of the ladies that have provided my services have been wonderful. The money well spent. I leave relaxed and rejuvenated. I am not one to indulge in things often for myself, so the first time I was very uncomfortable. However they made me feel really relaxed and all discomfort went away.
Once you are done you can enjoy the spa area, relax in the lounge chairs, jacuzzi or sauna. They will provide water as you need.
There is also showers and an area to freshen up before you leave if needed. It is all around a very relaxing and beautiful spa. It’s the perfect get away from the hustle and bustle of life and if needed the Vegas strip.

As a LV local, I’ve been to most of the resort’s spas and I have to say Espa is one of the best!
My hubby and I were on a staycation at Vdara this weekend… massage and facial for me, salt scrub and massage for him. He said it was the best massage he has every had in Vegas!
I loved the locker room with tons of amenities and the wonderful heated seats by the jacuzzi.
The tranquil waiting area was beautiful and I liked that it was coed so I could hang with my man! (Most spas keep men and women separate)
My masseuse Joan was amazing as was my esthetician. (I’m sorry I don’t remember her name. boo!) Both were very consultative and tailored the service to my desires… I walked out looking and feeling alive!

I had a great experience at ESPA at VDARA! It was a very calm and soothing spa /​salon. The staff were friendly and attentive. I was very impressed with my hairdresser, Teddi. She did a great job on my highlights, while keeping up a friendly conversation!!! She is very experienced and helpful :) I highly recommend Teddi for any color, cut or styling needs you may have! :) She also does nails /​pedicures! Thanks Teddi and Vdara!

I really enjoyed my experience and I only wish I could have spent more time there, but I had more time to relax after my massage and use the sauna and steam rooms a bit longer.

Or with the sniffles after my treatment. The relaxation lounge where I sat waiting for my massage therapist to arrive was very clean and the atmosphere was calming. I especially liked the rock fountain in the center of the lounge and the flavored waters on the table for us to enjoy.
My masseuse was really sweet and explained the massage I had chosen along with giving me a short overview of the facility. I told her a few times that I preferred a bit more pressure and she did increase it s bit, but I could have had a bit more. I think, however, that her technique was truly in line with a Swedish Massage, which is what I had booked.
I really liked the shower and sauna facilities and the vanity areas were well stocked with hair and skin care products. I could have easily spent 3 – 4 hours there and my only regret is that I couldn’t make it back later in the day to use the facility, because it is included all day as a part of any service purchase.
I took off a star for the size of the spa itself, since the hotel is branded as a spa and the service prices reflected a more luxurious and perhaps larger spa.

ESPA at VDARA was a pleasant experience. After checking into the hotel for a New Years Eve stay, I booked a Men’s Purifying Facial to help me close out the year.
The receptionist Tiffany, was welcoming, friendly and thorough explaining how the process works. She suggested I arrive to the spa 45 minutes before my scheduled appointment (so I can take in the the accommodations before my facial).
Taking heed I got there early, which Tiffany checked me in and sent me on my way.
Paul, the Men’s Spa personnel gave me a tour of the Men’s spa vicinity, set me up with locker, rob and flip flops and called me once it was time for my facial.
He was very personable and attentive without being overbearing or a nuisance.
I was impressed with the sauna, steam room, showers and how well kept the area was.
Once I got set up with my facial, Alisa took good care of me. Very good vibe from this professional as she exfoliated my pores for a good while.
It felt amazing. There were moments when I felt soapy, gel, tingling, cool, intense scrub, warm, sticky, smooth, lightly aggressive (if that makes sense) and even a moss like feeling over my face.
Alisa even massaged my shoulders, upper chest and scalp. In that 50 minutes my face took a roller coaster of an array of astonishing feelings that were conducive to cleansing and exfoliating my pores.
The facial was peaceful and I came away from it feeling rejuvenated. Once Alisa finished she showed me the meditation room which I gladly obliged. I relaxed there in tranquility and shortly after concluded my spa treatment.
Christopher the supervisor settled my payment which he was also personable and even gave me advice on how to maneuver the Vegas NYE crowd.
All in all the spa was a great experience which left a lasting impression. Somewhat pricey but definitely worth it. What made it even more worth it was all the players (spa employees) who made this experience professional, relaxing, personable and most of all-​welcoming. I will definitely be back!

This review is for the gym. Its pretty small but clean and efficient. I came in at 7am and it was easy to grab a treadmill and hit 3.5 miles with no distractions. They have some TV’s on here for news and sports and there was also TV screens attached to the treadmill. Small weight room attached to the side. Free waters (bottles and cups) along with iced strawberry water and iced water given for free. Plenty of towels and lockers were available. I can see this place getting crowded in the late morning hours but it was no problem for me since I came early. Not a bad place to work out.

In my opinion this place is not worth the money they charge.
ESPA is a medium-​size facility on the third floor of Vdara hotel. It’s modern, pleasant-​looking and everything seems tidy there. You can book a service by the phone or at the reception. If you have any questions a nice man or woman will patiently answer all of them and smile the whole time. I don’t know about any other services but I didn’t have to wait long to enjoy my gel polish manicure, just hour and a half. The manicure itself was rather standard, not very long and no additional treatments, like hand massage or a good hand lotion. The woman chose to hardly talk to me so it was rather me making an awkward small talk, as I do not like silence much. What’s more, her nails were damaged and there was some nail polish coming off. I usually don’t even notice such things, but as a manicurist, her nails should be her trademark or something. The treatment was relaxing and the effect pretty long-​lasting, however the price was definitely to high for such an average service (80 $ plus a customary 18% tip). If my nails weren’t in such a bad state I wouldn’t waste my money.
The second thing that was certainly too expensive was ESPA after the sun lotion. I burned myself a bit and I was in desperate need of some relief. However, the majority of lotions have an aloe vera as a component and I unfortunately get a very mild case of allergy after using it. Still not pleasant though. After a long search it become clear that I have only one option — a very small bottle of ESPA lotion, costing 65 $. Ouch.
So, if you do not care about the money much it’s a place as good as any other, but otherwise i would recommend to go there only in case of cosmetic emergency.

I absolutely loved my time here. They don’t over book. so it is small but not crowded. My massage was wonderful and I loved the amenities offered. The showers and vanity area had anything you could want. I will definitely be back !

Everyone at ESPA was fantastic. Alex assisted me with booking my reservation and he was so up beat and pleasant. The amenities at the Spa are amazing and my massage therapist was excellent, I was really impressed with her skill. I would highly recommend this Spa!

I loved this spa. Very spacious, fabulous toiletries and items for getting ready, curling irons, etc. products are amazing!
The steam room and sauna both nice. Wish they had a larger or several hot tubs. Kinda crowded. But very nice — would go back!

The spa as a whole package is wonderful. In order to get the full experience, you really have to come in early, and plan on staying past the time of your treatment. If you book a 1 hour massage, plan on being there for 3 hours to really get the full experience.
The staff are very welcoming, and you are shown to your locker, which is stocked with a fluffy robe, and towels. They will ask your shoe size and find your exact fit for you. They also have cold bottled water, and some juices (orange, cranberry) stocked in the mini fridge in the steam area. In the steam area, there’s dry steam and wet steam, both great. Best of all, outside the steam rooms is a basket of iced wet towels, so you can drape over your eyes while in there. They also have a mini hot tub, which is actually a bit teeny… Two heated «S» lounge chairs for you to splay out on. There’s towels everywhere, and never a dirty towel lying around, so kudos to the cleaning staff!
After wallowing in these extras for at least an hour, they will have someone come collect you to the «inner» waiting area. This area is co-​ed, so… y’know, don’t have everything hanging out! It’s quiet, dim and generally getting you mentally ready for your treatment. I’ve gotten a Deep Muscle Massage, and an Aromatherapy massage before. Both were fine… not the BEST I’ve had. The massages would be given ⁴⁄₅ star, since they didn’t have any lasting effect past the same evening.
Afterwards, you are provided with some water, and invited to the Meditation room that features a wall waterfall, some chaises and pillows and a blanket. I don’t see why this room isn’t CONSTANTLY stuffed with napping people, because I was ready to pass out.
Finally, the showers are stocked with razors, shampoo/​conditioner, lotion. Then the make-​up/​hair drying vanities have straighteners/​curling irons, gorgeous lighting, qtips, moisturizer, individual brushes, all that jazz. I always make myself a hot organic tea with honey, with a small bowl of trail mix (3 kinds to choose from, usually!) and take my time attending to my boudoir.
Excellent place. I keep changing my star ratings from 4 to 5 and back, and that’s because the massages themselves were great, but not the best. Otherwise…5 star spa! The standard I hold other spas to!

I must admit this is my very first time at a spa… a real spa. You can tell they really spent money on making this place-​which I’m glad since it’s in the Vdara Hotel which is a non gambling hotel. Their «meditation room» is very calming with a waterfall wall and about 6 chaise lounges where you can nap if you so wish. Did I mention is co-​ed.
The only complaint I have is that the slippers they give you are an ugly heavy brown plastic atrocities. Why not fluffy white ones like the ones provided in the rooms?
Other than that, the staff was very helpful and quick with a smile.

Great spa!
Hot Tub: Medium size, plenty of jets and perfect temperature. I do wish they had more than one, luckily I was the only one in the spa so it wasn’t a big deal but if there would have been 6 or 7 more people, it would have got uncomfortable pretty fast.
Steam room: Eucalyptus infused steam. SUPER steamy, you couldn’t see 6 inches in front of you. It was perfect.
Sauna: Not as hot as I’d like it to be. I got here right after it opened so I’m not sure if they had just turned it on when I got there and it just needed some more time to heat up.
Shower: Large clean stalls and included; shampoo, conditioner, body wash, razor, shave gel and wash cloth. Perfect shower.
«Getting ready area»: This had everything you would need to get ready after your shower. Hair Gel/​foam, Shaving gel, razor, toothbrush, toothpaste, mouth wash, and deodorant.
Lounge Area: Pretty small, nice sized TV and dried fruit snacks. Plenty of small bottled waters throughout the spa.
Service: Great, they did exactly what they are supposed to do. They showed me around and then didn’t bother me. Very friendly and helpful if you have any questions.

AND most importantly, the technicians and the services were great. On The Rocks exfoliated with brushing/​scrub, then a hot rock massage and finishing off with a hydrating scalp massage and mask. The Radiance Facial left my face glowing. All services give you options of aromatherapy and will personalize it to you. My favorite spa in Vegas.

My greeting at the front reception was warm and nice. The lady told me to go upstairs and another person greeted me at the entrance of the women’s locker area. Since I’ve been here before I told her I can skip the tour. She gave me my locker assignment and I changed into my workout gear.
Having a fitness center in a spa is a perk I like to use. The downstairs gym area had towels, bottled water, smaller lockers for hotel guests, high tech cardio and weight machines, large TVs, kettle bells and weights. I jumped on a cardio machine, watched some TV on the individual screen for 30 minutes, then used some of the weight machines. I felt like I did more reps because the machines moved so smoothly without resistance unlike my regular gym.
The upstairs spa facilities starts with a coed sitting room which is stocked with a variety of beverages and trail mixes. My favorite was the one with pumpkin seeds. This is also the area where it splits off to the male and female locker rooms with wet facilities.
In the female area, it was pretty standard with a vanity area (full of amenities like lotions, hair stuff, etc), showers, hot tub, steam room, and sauna.
In the treatment area, there is also a quiet meditation room which a perfect place to relax and nap after a treatment. I did this after my massage.
Speaking of massage, it was good. The massage bed was already warmed and the coolest thing is instead of putting a round pillow under your ankles, the bed moves and puts you in a perfect massage position! The massage itself was relaxing with some moments of tension being released. Overall a good balance of relaxation and tight muscle release. i judge this by how many times I can fall asleep during the massage, which was at least two. My therapist was named Michael or David I believe.
I would definitely come back and stay for at least 4 hours to utilize everything.
