Paranormal – Mind Reading and Hypnosis Magic Show

If there’s one show you have to see in Vegas, make it this one! One would think there would be plants, but I know for a fact there are none, I went on stage myself! Go see him, and be amazed!
If you’re a skeptic like I am, don’t worry, you’ll be 100% satisfied with the lengths Frederic goes to prove the selection is entirely random. Doubt as you may, you won’t be able to guess how he does any of his tricks. You may know they’re tricks but the more you think about them, the more dumbfounded you’ll be: he’s that good.
Make sure to come early if you want a good selection of seats, but as someone who was seated at the very edge of the room, you still get a perfect viewe of the stage.
I truly can not emphasize enough, and I say this as a massive Penn and Teller fan: this is the best magic show I’ve ever seen. You will experience a myriad of emotions certainly, but definitely not disappointment.

My children and I just watched an amazing show! We are in awe and can’t believe what we just saw. Folks are randomly selected by throwing frisbee’s into the audience and my daughter ended up catching one. I am very skeptical so with her going up on stage and him already predicting things… Just WOW WOW WOW!!! Frederick is the man!!!
If you are in Vegas… you have to see his show!!!

I would highly recommend this show. I don’t know how he does what he does, but it was impressive. I’m naturally a very skeptical person and I couldn’t figure this out. The show was a little over my 7 year olds head, but we were treated very kindly after the show to compensate for that even though it was no fault of his whatsoever. It’s a very interactive show and the audience is incorporated throughout. I would recommend getting there early to get your seats, as they are first come first serve even though you are seated by the staff. We had VIP tickets and because we were one of the first ones there we got first row seats. It’s an interesting and worthy show to go see. I highly recommend seeing this show

My husband and I really enjoyed this show. You will not be able to discern how he does the tricks and Frederick Da Silva will leave you entertained and fascinated throughout the performance.

I volunteered to go up and he got the predictions right! He was so sweet and gracious. One of the nicest people I’ve met and the show was absolutely fascinating I’m still speechless!!!

Fredric could accurately «guess» the various challenges is amazing. I was lucky enough to get to go on stage and participate. I shuffled a deck of cards, then he had me say stop, twice,
as he shuffled them, put 1 card in my right pocket and next in my left. without looking. He totally got them both right! And so many other things too. LOVED THIS SHOW! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! !!

Great show for the family. Anything that keeps my kids started and interested for an hour is a winner. And was fun for adults as well.

The show is one hour and very entertaining. Frederick DeSilva has a funny personality and really witty. I cracked up he was so funny. He loves audience participation and multiple times I definitely thought, ‘How did he do that?!‘
I would definitely recommend this show to anyone who likes being entertained, mystified, and wants to have a great time. It’s also a good show for children.

This is a must during your Vegas trip!
Frederic is a mind reader and hypnotist who puts on an amazing show at the Bally’s hotel. Throughout the show, he kept us on our toes and encouraged audience participation. He’s a one man show and his assistants are the audience! Without giving away details, the premise of the show is that he can «read» people’s minds and anticipate their responses ahead of time. It’s insane stuff!
I love the small, intimate venue (maybe fits 100 people?) but beware all the seats are on the same level except for a small section in the back that is raised on a platform. We got VIP tickets which were only $ 8 more than the general seats and well worth it. With VIP tickets, you get to sit in the first 3 rows and see the magic up close!
The show is a steal compared to other show prices. We got a discounted deal on
for $ 49 for an hour show. Frederic is very personable and stayed after the show to take free pictures with the audience.
Tip: show up around 315−330pm for the 4pm show to get in line. The seats are first come first serves and they open the doors around 330pm.

Frederick Da Silva was fantastic! Entertainingly fun, energetic, and clean show! Totally worth stopping by to see this amazingly talented man!

This show is one of the best bangs for your buck in LV. At a fraction of the cost of the high production CDS shows, you’ll be even more entertained and blown away by what he can do. All throughout the show I was left asking… WTF? How did he do that? And there are no plants in the audience. Volunteers are randomly chosen. I’ve seen every episode of Magicians Tricks Revealed on TV but I don’t have a clue how this guys does what he does. Remarkable.

PARANORMAL is THE show to experience! It was an hour of non stop events in an intimate venue where you could truly live the show. Frederic engages the entire audience with his talent and keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to the inconceivable end!
A true MUST see with anyone! I took my mom and she was in awe, as where a few teens sitting close by. I’m already working on getting a group of friends together to go back for another PARANORMAL experience with THE true master of the art!

This show was entertaining and interesting. There was a lot of audience participation, and Frederic Da Silva had a great sense of humor. Some of his tricks were mind-​boggling! I’m still trying to figure out how he was able to make predictions and read people’s minds. I know it’s all tricks, but seriously, he is good at it.
The only issue I really had with the show was the theater set-​up. It’s a smaller theater – which is fine for this show since it makes you feel close to Frederic Da Silva – but the chairs are all the same height. I’m short, so sitting in the back made it a little difficult to see. Also, you can grab a drink at the bar before taking your seat. A nice cocktail or beer goes great with the show.
The show is great for families. One of his tricks involves a kid. So, people of any age will enjoy it. It’s definitely a show you’ll never forget!

Without blowing anything for you, I’ll just say the show is entertaining and mind blowing. Oh, and he’s cute too ;)

I was selected as a volunteer and it was shocking and amazing. He guessed everything I did. I thought it would be one of those magic shows that I will guess how he does but no!!! He totally reads minds and made me feel that either he is a devil or god!!!

How does he for it? I went twice in one week… still can’t figure it out. I was in both shows and really am quite perplexed. I am sure there must me a trick to it but not even a mensa candidate could figure it out. Well done Sir.

This has been the best entertainment I’ve seen in a long time. I would definitely bring guests and go see Frederic Da Silva again.

Wow is all I can say! The show was great I was lucky enough to get asked to be on stage and he totally blew my mind. 11 others were asked to be on stage and how he does what he does is amazing do yourself a favor and see the show! It is fast pace and never boring.

I am usually skeptical about mind reading/​hypnosis. But this show was absolutely amazing. I was actually called up on stage. I don’t want to spoil the act, but I have absolutely no idea how he made me say exactly what he was looking for.
This show is definitely worth checking out if you’re looking to be amazed.

Crazy good show! How the heck did he just do that? This guy should be in front of a 3,000 seat theater! Go! You won’t be disappointed!

The coolest show ever! I was lucky enough to go on stage and experience the feather trick and I’m telling you it’s real and awesome! I’ve always wanted to go on stage to see if this stuff is real and it really is. He is very funny and entertaining! A must see!

Funny, witty, charming, good-​looking and amazing… but enough about me, this review is about Paranormal Mind Reading and Hypnosis Show starting Frederic Da Silva.
On a whim we decided to look for an afternoon show and upon doing a Unilocal search (which are all spot on), we decided to book this show. Since we were close by, we figured we’d book at the Box Office within Bally’s, but found the price to be MUCH higher than what you can get on line, so we booked on line, then went back to get our tickets minutes later. Seems silly, but not the entertainers fault — that’s just FYI and a free tip for y’all. (You’re welcome).
Anyway, so the show starts promptly at 4:00 in a small ballroom. Frederic explains what’s going to happen and goes through painstaking efforts to assure everyone there are no ‘plants’ or shills, and after just one trick, you start to understand this. As others have said, everything is random, starting with throwing expensive frisbees into the crowd, and those who catch them then become the volunteers for the show.
I’ve no idea how Frederic does what he does. Two random strangers, sitting across from one another, each shown instructions to do something… and he assures us they will write the same thing… and they do. Just incredible. Or, him having someone pick the name of someone… then knowing it and telling things about that person, unique to them. That’s a small sampling of what to expect. There are bigger, more intricate ‘stunts’, and each one amazes more than the next. It’s a fast pace, 1 hour show and you leave wishing it was much longer (but not upset with anything related to the show itself… it’s incredible).
No need to belabor the point or spoil anything. Go online and buy tickets and go see this show. Glad we did and we’ll certainly be back again.

Ummmmm, WOW! Just WOW! This show was fantastic! Even my kids, who didn’t really want to go were completely amazed!!! I highly recommend going and experiencing this! Truly incredible!!!

My BF has seen many shows in Vegas but hadn’t seen this one. So glad we decided to try it. Small stage where you feel involved and part of the show. I am still befuddled over the «tricks» and skills of the mentalist. He was funny on top of being clever and entertaining. Totally worth the money. I will suggest this show to anyone visiting Vegas. One tip– we ordered tix on line which wound up being forty dollars less.

Pro Tip: Use a 2 for 1 coupon on the vegas4locals website. You don’t have to be a Nevada resident!
Brilliant & mind blowing! A fantastic show on the strip and great value! Frederic Da Silva has one of the best shows I’ve ever seen.
His skills are mad good. Just when you think he knows exactly what he’s doing, he’ll make you think he has no idea, or isn’t sure of himself, then he’s blow you away by getting it exactly right!
AND THEN HE’LL DO IT AGAIN!
I’ve never seen a show with so much attention to detail. He keeps it moving with tricks that vary enough that you’re never bored and you’re always wondering what he is going to do next.
Then, you get to spend the rest of the day wondering… how did he do that?

My mind was blown! Amazing mind tricks and he was very funny. I have absolutely no idea how most of that was done. My friend was equally baffled. Well done, sir! Definitely a show I will recommend and go see again!

I have no idea how he did his mind tricks, but it was awesome to watch. The show was fun, entertaining and, best of all, very reasonably priced. The routine was engaging and he used live audiences in all the tricks.
Oh, this is a show that you can take kids and teens to. No foul language. No sex or showgirl jokes

2 days later after the show, my friends and I are still scratching our heads, wondering how any of Frederic De Silva’s tricks worked.
My buddy got selected to go onstage and participated in the watch/​time act. De Silva’s watch routine was outstanding and we were left dumbfounded by the results of the act. The most amazing feat was the final act, which you have to witness yourself to believe.
De Silva is a great performer and an awesome guy. I am still little skeptical of magic & hypnotism, but Paranormal is highly entertaining and is a must-​see show!

This was a really great show! Reasonably priced, very intimate venue. The show itself was amazing actually. I’m still wondering how he knows the things he knows. The woman sitting next to me was picked as a volunteer and she appeared to be hypnotized. She swore she didn’t know she was doing what we saw her do on stage. She was a little freaked out.
This is a very small venue inside Bally’s. The showroom is also running Tony and Tina’s wedding plus the 50 shades parody. I purchased a groupon for Paranormal, made a reservation and picked up the tickets at the Bally’s box office. IMO It’s not really worth the extra $ for the VIP. You’ll get in a few minutes early and will sit in the first two rows. I was seated in the second row and wasn’t VIP. It’s first come first serve seating but if you are there about 30 minutes early you should be fine. Frederic is very personable, funny and really good at what he does. (Love the accent) He includes the whole audience even way back to the last row. He picks lots of audience volunteers so don’t be shy. Unfortunately I wasn’t picked. No food or drink can be taken in but they have a bar. If you like illusion, magic and want to be left wondering how he did that then this show is got you. He really does create unforgettable moments. Last little bit, it is family friendly content. Not sure if children are allowed in the shows but there was no inappropriate language or behavior. The chairs are uncomfortable. But it’s not that long of a show. I survived. Go see if you can.

I honestly didn’t have high expectations for this show but we got two free tickets to attend so why not? We normally wouldn’t waste our time going to a show or restaurant just because it was cheap or free but this show had great Unilocal reviews so we went in with open minds. An hour later, we left with minds BLOWN!
In my opinion, this show was much better than Penn & Teller and David Copperfield shows that I’ve seen, where I also paid a lot of money. I walked out of those shows thinking, «did I miss something?» or «that last trick was cool but lots of lame and cheesy lead up». Paranormal is set in an intimate small venue where everyone is fairly close to the stage. Although Paranormal isn’t the same type of visual magic, there definitely is a visual element and lots of astonishment and moments of «how did he do that!!!» Is this magic or mind reading or some other trickery? I don’t know but I was truly amazed from start to finish and highly recommend this show!

We got free tickets at the rewards desk in Ceaser’s palace the day of the show. But I would have gladly paid the $ 25 or more! He deserves a bigger stage and bigger audiences.
This show was excellent, and I have no idea how he does any of the tricks. It is at least 90 minutes long, and he does amazing things the entire time. One of the people that was brought on stage barely spoke english and messed up the word he was supposed to remember, but Frederic still got it! I’m 30 years old and brought my fiancée who doesn’t like magic, but even she thought the show was great.

JUST GO!!! I would give it 6 stars if I could.

Saw the show tonight. Thought the show was great. We took a 10 and 13year old and it was also a good show for them. We sat in back row and it was pretty hard to see over the heads of people in front of us as the stage is almost flush with the floor. They came by and gave high bar stools to the kids so they could see. That was nice. I suggest if you are short make sure you get a seat in the front.
I thought it was great that he stayed after and took pictures with people and shook hands.

Where do I start?! Well for starters don’t start with thinking about how he does what he does.
He was great! I liked how the audience as expected has a chance to interact with Fredric. This show is really mind twisting. I enjoyed myself. This is a must see if you are in Vegas.
I also liked the fact that once his show is over he does not just take a bow and leave the stage. He comes out the exit with you and takes individual pictures with whoever who wants them. Thumbs up from me. Great job!

I was very surprised by how great this show was. I suppose I went in with very low expectations (Bally’s, free ticket, afternoon show, etc.). I actually enjoyed this show more than David Copperfield. And I echo the sentiments that it’s seriously underrated and deserves a bigger/​better theatre.
It’s in the same venue at Bally’s as Tony ‘n’ Tina’s Wedding. It’s setup with a short, long, rounded stage in the corner and then rows of chairs making semi circles in front of it. There isn’t much theatrical beyond the subtle music. No crazy lighting effects, etc. Which was actually really nice.
I still can’t figure out how he did it. I wasn’t even slightly bored the entire time (a rarity for me at shows). I even felt it was over too soon (an even greater rarity). There was lots of audience participation. Some of the «tricks» were similar to what I’ve seen before, but a lot were different and/​or had more entailed than I had seen before. Lots of wow moments.
This is a great show! You definitely won’t be disappointed!
