Meet the Business Owner

Tom G.

Business Owner

After three years in Las Vegas, Goldsbury returned to New York and worked at Brooklyn’s Embers Steakhouse and opened Al Hubbard’s Steakhouse with his brother. After returning to Las Vegas, he worked at Port Tack, the famous fish company, and as a bartender and server with the highly respected national steakhouse chains Ruth’s Chris and Smith & Wollensky’s.

Goldsbury’s restaurant, Off the Strip, was conceived during his 10-year tenure at Smith & Wollensky’s after patrons continuously asked him to recommend a place to eat «off the Strip.» Goldsbury was inspired to create a restaurant that would be the off-Strip destination restaurant in Las Vegas. Following the opening of its original location in the Southern Highlands neighborhood of Las Vegas, Off The Strip has earned numerous accolades from popular food and entertainment review sites such as TripAdvisor and Yelp.
