Move On Moving

I have held off on posting a review for Move on Moving in hopes that they would help make things right for me. It’s been two months since we submitted our claim of damages and we haven’t heard anything useful from anyone.
Our move from CA to WA was a complete nightmare with these guys.
They were several days late, loaded our items outside the truck, damaged nearly everything! This included loading mattresses and wooden furniture outside the truck in rainy Seattle area! Duh…
They are very poor at returning phone calls, and the employees got in a screaming, cursing fight at 2am outside our house and woke up 3 different neighbor houses.
DON’T USE THEM!!! Save yourself time, money, and more importantly stress. Moving is enough stress as is.

UPDATE: December 1^st Still no response from Move On Moving. Moved in August and still do not have all of my stuff and most of what I do have is damaged. No one at this company cares as long as they got their money. DO NOT USE MOVE ON MOVING

Good people, hard workers. They gave me a good deal and everything ran smooth and on time. No broken staff, no missing items. I will recommend this company to any one who needs a to move from one state to other.

It is very hard to read what people say about them on here, my wife and I received a very very good service starting from Josh sales person pick up driver Dave and delivering our stuff on time and in the same condition, sorry move on for your bad reviews and thank you for your service! We definitely will recommend you to all our future friends.

About two weeks ago I moved a studio-​worth of furniture from Las Vegas, NV to Manhattan NY — in one piece, one time — and for reasonable price!
The guys from the office contacted me quickly with a quote, gave me an estimate on the spot and answered all of my questions.
The pickup went smoothly.
The two guys, Eric & kris, rocked!
They were professional and handle belongings respectfully. That was their third pickup of the day and, but still, they were very energetic and moved everything out of the apartment in a couple of hrs.
The guys from the office were calling me few days before the shipment to conformation. All my things arrive at time, in one piece!
I truly recommend this moving company to my friends!

DON’T USE THESE MOVERS! I agree that the person giving 4 stars has to be an employee or relative. This company is the worst. I was given an estimate to move my belongings but when the movers got there they said the estimate was incorrect and either I pay more (over $ 1,500) or they won’t take my stuff. I ended up renting a Penske truck to load the remaining items and drive cross country myself which was $ 1,000 less! These people won’t answer the phone or return calls. I had damage and looked at my contract for claim info. I noticed that they marked out the section where I could have purchased full replacement coverage and had me sign the section where I will only be paid 60¢ per pound according to the, weight of the item! What a rip off. I was never offered extended coverage.

Wow! The person who wrote the positive review must be a relative! These people are nothing short of organized crime! Please heed this warning… DO NOT USE THEM! You are insured the there is only one company and the sales company is APT Moving. The price quoted door to door, was over $ 1000 less than we have spent so far and we haven’t received our belongings one week after our «Delivery Commitment» which changes each time we happen to get them to answer the phone, (we have NEVER had them return any of 20+ messages) we have been hung up on, insulted, and lied to, and by their tone, arrogance, and lack of respect, makes it evident that this is not an isolated incident, but everyday practices. We will pursue legal proceedings when and if we receive our belongings.

Had the worst experience imaginable with this company. Moving from Wendover, NV to Queens NY. When the movers came to pick up my items they were about 7 hours late. I had to take the driver to get straps and materials to strap my items down on the outside of the truck because they didn’t leave enough room on he truck for my items.
I received a call Friday night ⁷⁄₃₁ stating they are loading the truck and that I will need to pay $ 300 extra because the Semi does not go into queens. I explained I paid for door to door service, they stated they need to unload from the semi to a smaller truck and I need to pay for that. After not getting anywhere, I consulted an attorney, he said pay them then sue them. They also stated I could come pick up my items in New Jersey.
I have a first delivery date of 8/​7, the driver called on ⁸⁄₄ to deliver, I was at a training session out of state — I advise the first possible deliveyn date listed on the contract. I received a call at 11:30pm tonight that delivery is at 8am, ⁸⁄₇ or else my items will be in some public storage.
These people are rude and unprofessional.
Josh the sales agent no longer accepts my calls. The driver told me they do not come into New York, their trucks stops in New Jersey. The sales agent failed to inform me that upon booking. I was also told I have 30 days free storage, That only applies in Nevada, the contract does not state where the storage can be used. I was told if my things did not come on that truck it could be 2 – 3 months before I would have my things, so I was forced into my things being transported.
I am now paying $ 300 extra to Move on Moving to deliver my items, paying for a storage unit, and will have to pay for my items to be moved into my apartment.
I would not recommend this company.
They do not deserve any stars
I’m contacting. The better business bureau and filing a law suit to recover monies.

We used MoveOn for a long-​distance residential move. The team was professional, and everything arrived at destination in good shape and on time. Recommended.
