Min Permanent Makeup and Day Spa specializes in cosmetic permanent makeup.

History

Established in 1983.

Due to the number of clients garnered over the years, Min had to change her policy to minimize the wait time for clients who are trying to get in for their first touch up. Starting in 2014, Min changed her policy of free touch ups from five years to five free touch ups only; therefore clients’ prior to 2014 are guaranteed five years of free touch ups until the date of their expiration. Due to scheduling conflicts, effective October 1st, 2015 Min is changing her touch up policy to three free touch ups; therefore clients from 2014 to September 2015 are given five free touch ups only.

Follow up appointments for clients who need to receive their first touch up will be scheduled three to four months following their initial procedure with a six-​month interval afterwards.

Min apologizes for this inconvenience and is trying her best to make sure she may accommodate each client to the best of her ability.

Min has been practicing the art of Permanent Makeup since 1983. Her techniques originate from classic approaches developed in Asia, where the art form began. She first learned the art of permanent makeup through a hand device. From there she learned how to perform procedures using the traditional pen.

Over the course of the years, Min has developed into her own art of permanent makeup. She has trained over two hundred students and continues teaching today while combining the best of old and new techniques to give her clients the utmost in natural beauty. Her clients come from afar away as Europe, Asia, Canada, and across the United States. She ensures the importance of following proper procedures to ensure your safety and topical anesthetic for your comfort.

Min Permanent Makeup is certified by the Southern Nevada Health District.

I have always been hesitant about permanent make-​up and feared of being a victim to tell a horror story of faded blue eyeliner, but after going to Min’s, I can surely tell you I do not have a horror story and it is quite the opposite. I went to Min’s & decided to do my bottom eyeliner (2-​toned) last summer & it was the best $ 150 ever spent plus 5 free touch ups. I go to school full time, work, & enjoy outdoor activities and the gym, so after a long day, my makeup is either smeared or worn off. After my perm eyeliner, I had no issues, no infection, etc. I recently went in for a touch up & I decided to do my top eyeliner (2-​toned as well) the same time and felt a bit of pain compared to the 1st time, but Min was very patient. She even gave me a break and some water. I wouldn’t go anywhere else. Can’t wait till my next touch up!

I had my eyebrows done with the 3D technique yesterday and they look amazing! I had my eyebrows done at another place about a year ago and they look WAY better now! The girl at the front desk took me back, drew my eyebrows on and made sure I was happy before she brought Min in to make check them. They put the numbing cream on and made sure it was set before she got started.
I am very happy with my eyebrows and will send all of my friends and coworkers here! The only thing I was kind of disappointment in was they don’t offer 5 free touch ups anymore, but they still offer 3 free. Most places only offer 1 free touch so the 3 free is still nice!
I definitely recommend getting your permanent makeup done by Min!

My review has nothing to do with my eyebrows which I really like. My review and bad experience is because I can’t get back in to do touch ups for months and months. I got my eyebrows done in January 2015. I was told to come back in April. Well, in April my sister died and I couldn’t go back in, for obvious reasons. Although, I didn’t have an appointment in April and I probably wouldn’t have been able to get one anyway. But it took me a bit to «get myself together», and in July I called to get an appointment for my 1st retouch and I was told she couldn’t get me in until December. I asked if they had a cancel list and was put on that. I was also told that they didn’t have me in their system so I needed to bring my paperwork. Well, December finally rolls around and I can’t find my paperwork. So I call and tell them I can’t find my paperwork and she says I should have come in because I’m in their system. By then I couldn’t make my appointment time and she said she’d have to reschedule me. Next available appointment is JULY. Seriously? July? I’m thinking that if a business doesn’t have time to do touch-​ups then then should not be scheduling so many new customers. Isn’t that part of the service? I paid for that, right? I have never heard of anything so absurd. After crying and complaining that it literally would be a year and ½ since my eyebrows were done with no touch up, they finally somehow had an appointment at the end of February. Still over a year later, but I took it. Let me be clear, my eyebrows I’m happy with. But perhaps you shouldn’t be too expectant of the touch ups. Or at the very least, make all of your appointments before you leave the place and for heavens sake, don’t cancel any. It’s worse than the dentist office.

I love my new liner! I wanted a somewhat natural look & Min gave me just what I wanted. I found Min on Unilocal & since then realize & have heard this is the best place in town-​if not the country! If you’re looking for someone to sit & chat this may not be the place for you. Min is all business. Prices are great-​I paid $ 200 total & can go in 5 more times for touch-​ups whenever I choose. No more purchasing, applying, smudging, washing off eyeliner-​Yay!

I made an appointment with this place since they had really great reviews and a great price with 5 free touch ups. Other places cost $ 395 and up, but Min charged $ 300.
I went on Tuesday. It had a really nice and comfortable waiting area, but I only waited about 5 minutes before getting called in. The receptionists were pretty nice, but I felt that they could be friendlier. Once inside, the assistant asked me to draw in my eyebrows how I normally do it and she just made it even for me. Min eventually took me to a different room where I would be getting the 3D eyebrow tattoo. She put numbing cream on it and left me for about 5 minutes. She came back soon after and began tattooing my eyebrow. Even with the numbing cream, it hurt! And I’ve gotten tattoos on my body before. So that’s something to consider. Also, the bed where I was laying down on was directly in front of the light, so my eyes were getting really sensitive from the light and the pain from the needle. After about 30 minutes later, she finally finished and I was really happy with the result! It will be very dark and sore at first, but it will go away. I can’t wait until it’s completely healed and to go to my touch up, which is in 4 months per Min’s recommendation.

My experience at Min’s has been a great one. I’m so grateful to her for doing such a great job with my tattooed eyebrows. I had been contemplating for years on getting them done, but I wanted to go with someone who would do a good job and make them look natural. I had absolutley no eyebrows due to overplucking. It always took me 30 minutes every morning to draw my brows freehand… it was annoying and frustrating when I didn’t get them just right. When I went to Min’s back in March. her staff was professional and so was she. Min was truly caring and professional while tattooing my brows. She continuously asked me if I was doing okay and made sure I was numbed on my brow area to begin the process. A week ago, I went for my first retouch and I’m absolutley happy. Thank you Min and staff!!!

I had my eyebrows and my lips tattooed here the other day. The front desk staff was very nice and kind. They greeted me and gave me a form to fill out and offered me water. Shortly I was taken in a room to draw my eyebrows and the lip line and then I patiently waited for my turn. Min did an excellent job. My eyebrows are looking amazing and my lips turned out a bit lighter then I wanted but she assured me that next time she can go over with a different color if I wanted to see it more :) Overall a great experience and 5 touch up is included. Unbeatable. Thank you Min!

This was my first time trying permanent makeup and I have to say I am impressed. My sis and I went together upon a referral from one of her coworkers. We were both scared out our minds since neither of us had ever done this. Min was very professional and she knows what she is doing and quickly put us at ease. I am not gonna lie, it really hurt – even with the numbing cream but I toughed it out. The end result was great and exactly what I wanted. It wasn’t too over the top and most of all it looked natural– it didn’t look like I had tattooed eyebrows. They give you 5 treatments to use afterwards and they will not expire. I will probably have her touch it up by thickening it up more next go around. Hopefully it won’t be as painful. I am happy with the turnout and glad my sister talked me into doing this– we are both thrilled of the outcome. Thanks Min!

A friend of mine mentioned that she was going to Min for a retouch on her eyebrows. I could not believe her eyebrows were tats! I would never have called it. I have, basically, NO eyebrows. I plucked and plucked when in my youth, and, it’s true… they don’t grow back. My most despised task every day was drawing on eyebrows. I could never get the right color pencil, the right texture pencil… etc. They came out different (and not good) every day. And swimming? Forget it. Was I nervous going to Min? Extremely. Min took me into her room, drew on 2 different «styles» of eyebrows (one over each eye.) I chose the one I liked, and she matched up the other one.
I have had 2 tats before, so understood the sensation. She applies anaesthetic cream and waits for it to «take». The procedure is slightly painful, but definitely survivable! I also went for the upper and lower lid tightlining. Again, slightly painful. Min takes her time and re-​applies cream… as much as you want.
Are the results worth it? I am in HEAVEN!!! I wake up looking really good. The brows are perfection (I went for the 3D, as I have very, very little actual eyebrow hairs). The liner makes my eyes defined and very bright looking. I can swim, shower, leave the house with no makeup and feel presentable!

I got permanent eyeliner done and Min was great. They put this numbing topical cream on you and where it is it only feels pressure. Sadly for me my tears would wipe off part of it and then it hurt fairly badly but that’s what tattoos are and min would stop and put more cream on it. She was great!
You get 5 free touch ups and the first one is mandatory in three months. She starts off fairly thin because you can always add more but can’t take it off.
When I was done I didn’t bruise. I just looked like I’d been crying a lot. My vision was a little blurry for about two days and excess ink came off for the next two days. But two days later I’m at 100% and it looks great! Thanks so much Min!

The place itself is not the best «spa type «you will come too but the old school practice that Min began with just flourished with extended experience and european techniques. Its clean and the girls are informative but i wish there was an actual consultant that will sit down and explain all the services coz they do have a lot to offer and the price was great. When i got my 3D eye brow tattoo, i paid $ 200. They initially wanted to draw the eyebrows first or u should do it yourself so its exactly how u want it. Min takes you to where she does the tattoo and at first. OUCH! The pain reliever cream was not enough. She was drawing the outline so she can then erase the liner (so be very precise coz how you end up w your brow. That is how she’ll trace it). Then she began filling in the inside. I was nervous but she was an expert, had been doing these things for 20years and I am beyond happy. I needed to be assured with the right experience. The place, look, feel, fluff was secondary.

I got my permanent eyebrows done here and I couldn’t not be more content and happier with the outcome. It looks very natural and doesn’t give you a drag queen look. Geli was the artist that did mine and I highly recommend her if you are thinking about having ur eyebrows done. She did an amazing job shaping my eyebrows and making sure it matches my face. I have been getting plenty of compliments with my new eyebrows and most importantly having it done has saved me so much time in the morning when I’m on the run or even for a night out :)

Gelli has a natural talent for what she does! She’s apprenticing under Min but she is a perfectionist (which I can appreciate when I have a needle to my face lol) and takes pride in her work/​clients. She helped fixed a previous bad permanent make-​up job which left me with crooked and misshaped eyebrows. She talked me through the whole process and was so reassuring after such a bad precious experience (and I told her I thoroughly stalked and examined her precious clients/​work). I’m glad I went to her and I’m sure I’ll be an even happier customer after they have fully healed! Picture to come later :))

Had 3d eyebrows and full lips done this last Monday. I am very, very happy with the results. I look totally natural. Min is very professional and accommodating. Her assistant is very sweet and pleasant. I was a really big baby about the pain to my lips when they were done but Min worked with me and got me through it (lips hurt a lot!). I will go back in 3 months to have the touchups done and maybe get eyeliner done too. I would recommend Min’s Permanent Makeup for anyone looking to enhance there looks with a very talented makeup tattoo artist.

I’m super impressed! I’ve had permanent eyeliner done by someone else previously, Min puts the rest to shame!!! She’s really thorough and gets all the little corners of your lids. Yeah it’s scary getting tatted on your eye, but they apply lots of numbing cream and provide a relaxing spa atmosphere to make the experience much more comfortable. Thank you guys!!! Now I can be pretty at the pool and when I get out of the shower: P

Min has been doing permanent makeup for something around 30+ years! I got my eyebrows done by her about a year ago.

Consult/​before the tattooing: An assistant draws in the shape you want with an eyeliner pencil. I did have some doubt right before I got my brows done. My natural eyebrows were very thin and each were very different in shape, length, etc, and it’s always been difficult to draw them on evenly. But, the assistant was very patient and helpful and spent probably half an hour making my eyebrows the shape I wanted them.
Getting them tattooed: Min, having been doing this for so long, is confident in what she does, so she does move a little fast. But be assured, she knows exactly what she’s doing. I told her I was still a little unsure of the shape of my right brow but she said not to worry, she would fix it, and she picked a color that would look good on me. Obviously when you’re about to have something tattooed onto your face, you want to be 100% sure about everything before you start. I had a little doubt about the shape of the right brow and if the color was too dark, but I couldn’t be more happy with the results. My brows look very natural and people are surprised when I tell them they’re tattooed because of how subtle and natural they are.
OVERALL: Would recommend! Experienced and friendly. Great prices. I’m very happy with my permanent eyebrows!

Its been a year (I think) since I last got my eyebrows done from Min. I’m really glad that I did get it done because now I’m not always paranoid about how bare my face looks. When you get it done, she does touch ups for up to 5 years. Touch up appointments however need to be made 2 – 3 months in advance.
I got the 3D eyebrows and I did post some photos for you to see the before and after. I’m glad I went the 3D eyebrow route because it blends really nice with my eyebrows. I just keep it clean underneath and my brows always look made.
I must have a terrible pain threshold because Min always pauses to ask me if I’m okay. I think its because I hold my breath and keep asking why am I doing this to myself. LOL. Min takes real good care of you, just know that.
Often times, there are specials for Facials packages and permanent makeup. As a matter of fact, I keep going back and forth about doing my eyeliner. Min even asked me and I told her I’m just so scared of the pain. She giggled said for me to take pain releiver and a driver and I’ll be okay. I’m sweating just thinking of the pain that I could possibly put myself through to connivence myself of perm makeup. Hahahahaha!
Any hoot, as I contemplate about the permanent eyeliner, I am confirming that she did a wonderful job on my eyebrows. Ooooh I wish I had came in earlier because they had $ 20 1 hour reflexology on special that day… DARNIT! Now I’m just going to stop in when I’m in the neighborhood and check for specials.
