We made the mistake in hiring him. I should of listened to my gut feelings, when I seen how unprofessional he looked and acted. Shop around many Photographers in Las Vegas at a much cheaper price.

While this review may not cut into this unprofessional ‘photographer’s’ booming Craigslist business, it gives me satisfaction on so many levels that he could be losing money with this one review, and so I write.
I did find this person on CL so why I expected more is beyond me. At all.
I had made an appointment with this person about a week before online through his website. His site belies the fact that he’s a rude, inconsiderate and unprofessional person that you never want to do business with.
We were scheduled for today, Thursday, at 4. At 8:15 a.m. I get a text saying that he has another job that he has to do, sorry about that, discount, blah blah. I usually don’t get upset about cancellations, it’s not as though I’ve never had to do it, but as a considerate person I understand that people need time to make other arrangements. This idea never popped into head, apparently. The text was so dismissive, so completely ignorant of the bind I was put it that it made me livid. I had told him I wasn’t going to be home for a couple of weeks due to work travel and he actually mentions that in his text, so it’s not as though he wasn’t aware of my situation.
I write back and tell him that he’s put me in a bind and that, no, I wouldn’t be using his services. I also tell him that I’ve blocked out half my day, scheduled appointments to get ready for this with OTHER people and his offer of a discount isn’t enough to save this. He writes back, ‘yes, and I’ll lose a job over someone who hasn’t paid me.’ That is another story.
I offered to pay a deposit via PayPal. He said he doesn’t take deposits this way. I get it, you can actually get your money back if someone screws you over. No kidding you don’t use it. So, it’s not as if I hadn’t offered to pay. He declined and said I could pay when he arrived. I was going to extend my time and had a 30% tip added in as well. I’m pretty sure that photography in Vegas isn’t that lucrative a business as my father and my sister both do it (albeit in Texas and make an OKAY living). And, if this is the way he does business I’m sure he’ll be out of it in no time.
So, after a little back and forth he texts ‘bye bitch.’ Also, ‘Yeah, and I have your address. I’ll see you tonight,’ etc. For those of you who don’t get the context, he’s threatening to come over to my house uninvited for some reason. I can only take it to mean that he wants to cause bodily harm. Pretty sure I don’t know him so inviting himself over isn’t that polite. But we’ve established that about this person.
Also, I sent a photo of myself so that he would know what kind of style I liked; he actually wrote back that I was a ‘fat ass’ and that he would be posting said photo all over the internet. I read this and think that I completely understand what a Vegas person is. This guy. I feel dirty, like I need a shower after corresponding with him.
So, if you want semi-​mediocre photographs from someone as foul as this, by all means, give this clown your money.

Michael is a wonderful photographer. He captured every single event that took place in my wedding. The pictures he captured made me realize how much I value, love, and respect I have for my husband. The ceremony picture shots were amazing… Michael is fast on the button to capture memories that I will share with my husband, family, and friends for a lifetime. Next time I need a photographer, I will hire Michael. He respects and upholds you as a work of art. I highly recommend Michael. He is simply the kindest, talented, and most interesting man I have ever had the pleasure of working with. And he will prove the same for anyone that hires him.

My family had a big shin-​dig at Bellagio Hotel on November 4, 2012 for my mom’s 79^th and my father’s 85^th birthday. We had relatives fly in from all over the United States. We hired Michael to photograph the event and we were very happy with the photos and his professionalism.

I hired Michael to take pictures of my wedding at Calico Basin at Red Rocks on November 17^th, 2012. From beginning to end Michael was professional and highly communicative during the planning process. Any questions I had, no matter how miniscule, were answered in a timely fashion. Communication up to the event increased as they day drew near and he made sure to check back in with me to make sure I didn’t have any last minute questions. The night before the wedding at 10pm, I sent him a text telling him that I was now to arrive in a classic car and could he possibly get shots of me coming in. Not only did he get back to me at this extremely late hour with a prompt response, he was out front on the road ready to go when I finally did arrive. He also showed up an hour early to scout the location so we could get the best pictures possible. His interaction with my family was splendid and the event went off without a hitch. My images arrived via USPS less than a week after my event. His images were very beautiful and I’ll enjoy them for many years to come. I really enjoyed working with Michael and will definitely use his services for any future life events that may arise.

Michael Perez talks a big game but sadly, he does not deliver what he promises. As lovely as the images he takes are, his poor communication and lack of professionalism leave much to be desired…
I have been waiting for over three months to recieve the images from the photoshoot I had with Mr. Perez. The wardrobe designers that supplied the clothing for the shoot are also waiting for the images.
In the time since the shoot Mr. Perez has changed his phone number multiple times, making it difficult to get in contact with him. He has since completely stopped returning calls, texts, emails or private messages. (As of the date of this review, the phone number Unilocal lists for Michael M Perez Photographer is the phone number of a different business that Mr. Perez may or may not be involved with).
There are many highly skilled professional photographers in the Las Vegas area, and while Michael Perez is skilled at taking photos, he seriously lacks in communication and follow through. Do not risk your time, money or your special day on someone so unprofessional.

I highly recommend Michael Perez as a photographer. He’s very professional and easy to work with. He made me feel very comfortable and as a model that’s always a plus! He knows what looks good and gives great direction. He is so fast and efficient. I shot with him a couple months ago and within hours after the shoot the edits were ready. If you are looking for a fast, professional, quality photographer, you should definitely work with Michael.

Scam artist! Guess why his website is down? It’s because he had stolen images from other photographers on his site. Avoid this fraud.
