Not clean, bland décor, and for the price the drinks where below par.
10.00 USD for a Vodka Tonic at a dirty bar… what???

For some reason, this was the place to be when we were needing a cheap fruity drink.
Majority of the hotel bars tends to be overpriced, but good ol’ Lucky came through for us.
What attracted us into going to Lucky’s was their cool looking frozen alcoholic malt machine. It’s a frozen margarita slushie that came in 6 different flavors. I especially enjoyed the blue banana and the piña colada flavors. Yes, I know it is artificial flavors, but what can you do when you mixed it like a decaries. It only cost me less than $ 5!
These frozen treats went great with the gaming machines at the bar. All these crazy black jack games are psychedelic when you are on the roll. They also served some hard liquors and beers if you like, but go with the frozen drinks.
The bartenders are very cool in this place. The first night we got some hombre who was in a Raider uni serving us some fine frozen drinks and chatted it up with us. He was very down to earth and cool to chat with. I noticed a few of the employees were wearing sport uniforms at work. I guess it’s a good change of pace to make it more relaxing instead of dress it up in a cheap suit and vest.
It’s was an excellent location for people watching as well. Before we made our way back to the room, there was a lady chatting it up with us by telling us the monopoly machine next to the bar was «LUCKY». Yeah, I’m sure that machine was lucky…
Needless to say, the bar is located next to the penny slots. Hey, they got to get their money back somehow by enticing these poor saps with these frozen margarita slushie and having these tramps promoting it to the suckas from LA.
I guess that was the only way to attract the penny slot players into spending money.

On a side note, I did dropped a few by mixing drinking and gambling. The frozen margarita slushie was great. It gave me a hanger over even before the night started.
