Las Vegas Gun Range

This place is a joke, I brought a few people in to qualify for A CCW class The owner wanted to charge me $ 100, to use his range, And he wanted to charge my students $ 50, And they had to buy his way overpriced ammo, I looked at the prices of his used handguns, He was asking more than retail price for A used Glock, The place is a Toilet, and smells like one, There are a lot of nice Ranges in Vegas, Closer to the strip, That are half the price, No wonder there wasn’t any customers in there, He’s A thief, And brags about taking advantage of tourists

Friendly but forces you to use their ammo. Nonsense.
Driving down the street to their competition who allows you to use your own supply.

I apologize. That long ass rant i left… It was intended for bass pro shops. I have always had a great experience at lv gun range. I hope anyone who read that review realised it was not for this place. Having said that… Eff bass pro shops and their snooty horrible service. And head on down to lv gun range for all your shooting needs…

For my shotgun shipped to this store.
They told me it will be 50 $ for background check when I came to pick it up it became 75 $. Everything was moving shlow they look very lazy and not very excited about their job. But very good selection of guns about 200 – 300 $ more expensive then anywhere else tho.

I took three friends who have never been to a range before. The staff were friendly and helpful. Prices were very reasonable to shoot a fully automatic too. I plan on going back soon!

I thought I had a problem with me holding my M&P shield, staff actually saw that my site was off and they fixed it. Great customer service and definitely I will come back.

BUYER BEWARE! Was in town 2 years ago and bought a rifle. Was told it was in perfect working order and made in the late 70’s. DROS’d it, picked it up and discovered it was made 20 years later and needed a gunsmiths work. I chalked it up to my own error on not being vigilant and them possibly be wrong. It happens. Was back in town and found a nice vintage revolver that I liked very much. Again I blame myself. The owner told me it was original, not restored and a good shooter (I don’t like paperweights). After again DROSing it, the store inspected it, said it was restored, timing was dangerous, etc., etc. I was lied to by the owner and will never go back. Again I blame myself for being so stupid. That gun is now at a gunsmith who will make it safe to shoot and after all is said and done, will have cost me twice what it is worth.

Not recommended for people just trying to practice with their gun. This place is a total rip compared to other places. My boyfriend and I came to target practice. We had our own gun and ammo. Was told we can’t use our own ammo, but it was okay that we had a mag already loaded. Ammo is double the price of outside retail. Made us pay for 2 range access when we only have one gun. Other places just pay for one range. And costs $ 1.50 for one sheet of target. Better off at Outdoor World/​Bass Pro Shop down the street.

Put $ 300 towards a $ 900 rifle last summer. Had a death in the family requiring travel the following week, only to return home to a change in my employment where I couldn’t make the payment as per the layaway agreement. Informed the main guy (the one with the fancy mustache and smirk). Then I came in with the rest of the money in hand only to find out they sold the rifle.
That’s ok, I understand. I also learned «upon that day» that all payments are forfeited to the store if past the layaway agreement date even if the customer is a few dollars short. What I don’t understand is why he refused to apply any of the $ 300 towards another gun especially when I have $ 600 cash on me and a plan to start my own gun collection. Stupid azz just lost a lot of future business. Do keep in mind that the entire time I was cordial and not one but snotty, rude or offensive and Mr. Mustache seemed to be fighting a smile the entire time. Seems like he loves this type of transaction.

Piss poor customer service and employees are not professional. I would buy product from another store for sure… not this empty dump

20 dollars for 50 rounds of blazer brass 9 mm. I do love to support local shops but even I have my limits especially with the volume that I go shooting between competing and plinking with my friends. Firearms wise, a nice overall selection but still a bit on the high side compared to a few other shops in the valley.

Great place to fire new guns, my boyfriend and I go there. We have lifetime membership. Really good deal. if you like to go shooting more once a month, pays to join. then you don’t have to wait for open lane. Unlimited use of gun range. Great customer service all the time. Eye and eye rental for free, if we bring guests… good times.

RIP OFF!!! Not for local shooters, but for you tourists go ahead and blast your money like you do in our casinos lol!!!

LOVE THIS PLACE! Friendly staff! Fun place to go! Even has a ladies section! Great location and always open! My 1^st choice of places to go in the valley!

Will went out of his way to go over EVERYTHING, regarding safety, posture, how to hold the gun the right way. How to strip it, load it, clean it, oil it. In the 7 + years I’ve lived back out here, this is the first place I’ve gone that I felt genuinely welcomed. Thank you !

I am going to agree with Texas Rose and Jack M. This place is good for tourists but not locals.
Had I known what I know now, I would never have done business with them to begin with.
They give «Arrogance» a bad name.
I had never shot a hand gun, and my friend who is quite good took me there. I found them to be as friendly as a Motor Cycle Cop writing someone a ticket for going 2 miles over the speed limit.
I shot a gun I liked, then they told me they didn’t sell it, and I had to buy another model. I later found the hand gun I liked, and bought it somewhere else, for less.
All they wanted to do is sell me things that I didn’t need, and at a much higher price than anyone else in town.
I took my CCW Class there and I did find the instructor to be a good guy. However, during the class one of the store employees came in, and cleaned guns, leaving that nasty solvent smell with 21 others in the room.
You are better off finding what you want, going to a place like Bass Pro, where you can test fire it, then finding a great price on line with Cheaper Than Dirt, and picking it up at Big 5. You will save considerable money.
As far as a range goes; It is small and very loud. If you are a local you can go to the Clark County Range at the end of Decatur, for $ 9, shoot as much as you want. You can also buy ammo there for about the same price as Walmart. They have rules, but it’s a much more pleasant experience.
If you’re from New York, California, New Jersey or Hawaii, where you don’t get many chances to shoot, than go here. You’re on vacation, you won’t mind blowing the money, and since you’re not serious, you’ll never know you are being taken.

Being my first time at a gun range, I have to rate the Las Vegas Gun Range 4 stars. Yeah 4 stars sounds about right but then again, I don’t have a precedent to go on. I mean I’ve been to one in Wanaka and yes, I shot a 22 calibre bore rifle and shotgun as well but it’s nothing compared to this.
I can’t remember his name but the guy who looked after us was really nice and friendly. I shot a Beretta 9 mm and a glock .45 as well. Being a massive of 24, I wanted to have a go at Jack Bauer’s weapon of choice: the HK USP Compact 9 mm but they didn’t have it for rental, which was a shame.
It’s quite far out from the strip and we were not driving so the cab cost us a bit but I had a great time though. It’s an exciting, adrenaline-​oozing feeling firing a weapon for the first time and I loved it!
I was really looking forward to it prior to going to Vegas and I will definitely go again next time and I’ll make sure I save heaps of coin so I can waste all of it and spend more time at the gun range!

I’m not sure how to rate this because I can’t compare this to any other gun range as this was my first time shooting, so I’m going to rate it on a scale of 1 to 5 stars for the amount of fun I had. 5 stars all the way.
My friends little brother Cody works here, so he was able to help me out and give me tips and instruction on how to shoot and what not. I started out with an M-​16, this was a lot of fun, I felt like a hit chick in the mafia. Then I tried a 9 mm which was a totally different feel obviously then M-​16, Cody was helpful and gave me pointers, then I tried a Glock, I don’t want to toot my own horn, but *toot toot* I have to say I was pretty good if I do say so myself. It was nice to try different handguns so I can decide which to purchase.
They offer CCW class here as well I will be taking. $ 40 for 30 bullets and rental…$ 30 if you bring your own gun, is the range fee.
