We rented our home last year from Key Property Management and worked with Cynthia. She was very professional and we had zero issues from first seeing the house to returning the keys.

I first rented my home in 2009. Living in Lake Tahoe and the SF Bay Area, I needed a property management company that I could trust. Before I rented my house, I called many property management companies in Las Vegas. Brian called me back immediately and was extremely responsive to my questions. In short, Brian stood out heads and tails above any other property management company I contacted. Let me just say that, seven years later, I have never regretted my decision. They were on top of everything from Day One.
Then, when it was time to sell the property, they placed it on the market and secured four offers within one week and closed escrow in 30 days! Their real estate sales manager, Randy, was extremely professional throughout the marketing and escrow period.
Imagine living 450 to 600 miles from your rental property and never have to fly down to handle problems for seven years, even when placed up for sale! This company was worth their weight in gold to me.

I have dealt with many property management companies and i have to say by far Key Property Management is the best i’ve dealt with. They are Professional, Knowledgeable and quickly responsive. Brian, Randy and Shayna are always there when you need them. No other Property Management will go above and beyond like Brian and his team does. I would definitely refer KeyPM to anyone.

Getting anything accomplished through these con-​artists is a slow painful arduous process.

I had a pretty pleasant rental experience with Key Property management. There were some maintenance issues that took longer to repair than they should have but they were for issues out of their control like waiting for parts from the manufacture company of the AC unit that caused me a little bit of concern. I also had to dispute a maintenance charge that I felt I wasn’t responsible for as the property had some very old outdated appliances and needed more than average repairs but again that is up to the owner to replace and at the move out inspection it was noted. I would recommend Key Property management and rent from them again in the future. I read and followed all of my lease agreements and requirements and got my full deposit refunded to me. They made paying rent, placing work orders and my move out very clear and easy.

I just posted a side by side before and after photo of my carpet! Key Property claimed that it had to have «half the room deep pet decontamination and they had to pull up the carpet…». You MUST see this photo, there’s NO DIFFERENCE!!! What they didn’t realize after they LIED to me and said the carpet had been done, is that there is a side window, that isn’t covered, that I was able to take photos for an entire week! They are all time/​date stamped! I caught these LIARS! Beware, DO NOT RENT FROM THEM! All of the other reviews are correct, they STEAL your deposit!

I have nothing but positive things to say about Key Property Management. They have managed our property for years and are always extremely professional, reliable and responsive. They are definitely full service and have gone above & beyond on several occasions — assisting me when I had problems with my own property and always recommending top notch service people. I have referred several friends and will continue to do so in the future.

The place I rented is managed by Key and it’s been smooth sailing. The application process was quick and painless and when I had problems with the water heater, I had a service person there promptly and the issue was dealt with. Very happy with the accessibility and response time. Never any issues with getting calls back or questions answered — on the contrary, they’ve been totally on top of everything.

We have been tenants for almost three years and Key has been fabulous for us. By the way, we pay our rent on time. Maybe those that don’t pay their rent can’t find nice things about Key but they are terrific. They came and fixed our air condition today with Dependable Air conditioning service and those guys were great as well! If you are looking for a home to rent we suggest you call Key property.

My husband and I use Key to manage two of our homes in Las Vegas. I’m surprised at these negative reviews because we’ve always had a great experience. They always return our calls and emails and Brian is quick to address my concerns. My guess is that it’s probably hard to keep everyone happy when you’re the landlord!
We’ve had several tenants that applied through Key and then were moved in. They do thorough background checks on their tenants and we haven’t had any problems with renters. We have small kids and not a ton of time to focus on these so it’s a relief to have someone we trust making sure everything is in good order and that the rent is collected on time. They have procedures for move-​ins and move-​outs so the homes always look great when they’re vacant. We definitely recommend them!

Their leases are complete protection of the landlord and not the renter. After multiple efforts to gain an accurate lease on what was verbally agreed to before applying, we ended up speaking to Brian. Dealing with Brian was the best thing we could of done before signing the lease. We ended up walking away from the rental after our deceptive experience with Brian and how he handled our realtor.
He kept going around our realtor, trying to deal with us directly. He would not give the owner of the home our offer. Brian kept saying, «it’s policy» and «that’s not how we do business.» Well, because of his game of hardball his client lost a great renter and the property is likely to sit vacant through the holidays. When he was dealing with me directly he was trying to nickel & dine us to death with no reassurance they would be their in a timely manor if we needed something. It was a complete blessing for us and if it were not for these reviews I would have had no idea this is how Key Property Management is ran.
This company seemed very creditable due to the fact that I am currently taking my real estate course through them… I WOULD TELL ANYONE TO STAY AWAY.

I had to at least give them one star. Wish I could give them a negative. I was shown the property in the dark and also signed the lease before I was able to see it in the day time. Moved in to find out that the apartment was dirty and dusty. No one lived in the place for over 3 months and roaches had taken over. They only take complaint and maintenance problems via email which are unanswered for months. Then when I moved out I was sent a large bills of repairs that were already preexisting.

Years after moving out of the home managed by key, Brian contacted me to assist with the issues that I had. Although too late, Brian was sincere and I appreciate him trying to help. Maybe Key has changed for the better! I don’t typically write bad reviews and would’ve rather deleted this one but Unilocal won’t allow that. Based on Brian ’ s customer service, I would give Key another shot. Thanks Brian!

Had an issue that were resolved in a timely fashion. I thought they would ignore my emails but several people reached out to me raged in my concerns. That’s definitely appreciated with any business.

Key Property Management managed our house in Las Vegas for nearly four years and through two tenants.
Key Property Management were always responsive to us and our tenants, when a tenant left they didn’t let the property go empty for very long, and they kept our house in good working order.
We couldn’t have been happier!

Very disappointed in their service and would not refer or recommend to anyone. In fact, I would encourage any out of state owners to think very hard before signing a deal with this company. The only value that they provide is to collect rent and deposit in your account.
I received nothing but complaints from my tenants… It is very important to trust the company managing your property when you are not local. I did not trust them and have caught them many times being dishonest.
Do your research and choose wisely! Failing to do so will result in endless headaches of dealing with a property that you are supposedly paying someone else to manage!

We rent a high-​end property rented through Key Realty, and they are completely non-​responsive. We plan on moving after the lease because essential repairs are either entirely ignored or delayed for weeks/​months. When repairs are dealt with, they use the lowest quality tradespeople available, and do everything on the cheap. I would NEVER, EVER rent a house that was managed by Key Realty again. The broker is cocky and rude, with zero concern with regards to the satisfaction of his tenants.
If you have a property to rent, and want to keep your good tenants for a long time, do yourself a favor and pick a DIFFERENT BROKER.
If you need to rent a property, do yourself a favor and DON’T RENT FROM KEY PROPERTY MANAGEMENT!!!
