Great little toy store located inside the Downtown. Container park. They have many of the tips we all grew up with what I consider classic toys like fonder traps, star wars, yo yos, legos, and even some puzzles. Great quality toys at fair prices. I also like that they have sustainable tips that are made of recycled plastics and made right here in the USA.
Stop by Kappa asap to find something that will help you remind you off your amazing childhood. Why buy it and share it with your child as well.

Fun toy store! Has all the cool stuff when I was a kids. My 3 yr old loves to come here and touch everything. Lizzy (the owner) is great. Knowledgable and friendly.

This small toy store in Container Park may not have a huge selection, but the toys they do have are relatively unique compared to other shops around town. If you’re shopping for others you may want to browse through their collection of games, toys, and other random stuff that would make for some good presents. Unlike the Toy Shack a short distance away, the items you’ll find here are new. My personal favorites are the metal Star Wars figures that you have to assemble. Part model, part origami, they’ve got miniature Millennium Falcons, AT-​ATs, and more.

Awesome place for hard to find toys. You can find nostalgic toys as well as current trends. The employees are helpful and friendly.

Pros: I found this place through the Freakanomics podcast where the owners were interviewed about how they started with their own shop but got an opportunity to be a part of Container Park. The toys have a large variety of different things from yo-​yos, puzzles, plush toys, and animé-​related figurines. Many of the items are available to touch and observe which is always fun! They carry good quality toys for all ages to enjoy! The shop is medium sized so you can walk around and spend a little more time inside than the other smaller shops in Container Park.
Cons: The toys seem to be a bit everywhere so it was a little challenging to find the categories but I suppose that’s part of the fun in roaming around! The prices seem fair to slightly higher so this is probably not a place for great deals as much as finding unique toys.
Overall: Definitely worth checking out especially if you are in Container Park! Fun atmosphere!

Cool little store for the inner (or outer) nerd/​geek in all of us. So many little and interesting items to grab your attention. You feel like a kid in a candy store.
Only wished the store itself was bigger, as to allow more space to browse without bumping into other customers. But great customer service!

So glad we stopped in! Absolutely hate the chain toy stores such as «Toys R Us» and it is a delight to find a gem of a toy store such as this for finding unique, one of a kind toys and accessories to suit any age. Our 16 yr old Daughter is a typical Nerd (which we love!) and loves Japanese Animé, Harry Potter and our 9yr old Daughter is obsessed with Japanese Erasers (Iwako brand), all of which Kappa Toys carry. Lizzie, the owner, was so sweet in showing us various options and was very patient digging through the assortment of buttons to find the perfect Harry Potter ones. Overall I would highly recommend visiting. We are glad we did and will plan on taking advantage of their $ 5 shipping cost for orders sent to us in Cincinnati!

This place is quintessentially Cresta, it feeds both my inner 80’s child and geekdome fairly nicely. From comic related merchandise to Unicorn overload this place makes my mind run overboard with reason why my little girl absolutely needs all those things and then some.
I ended up deciding this is the place where I will be coming for my daughter upcoming birthday party gifts. They have a large selection of fun kitschy toys that are well priced so you don’t walk out with that «oops what the hell was I thinking» instant regret. Lower prices and fun toys make for a perfect storm to feed my compulsive collector side. I already started to feed that beast with purchasing a couple of Tokidoki Unicorns for my daughter of course ;-)
Take away from the fun factor of this store and lets look at the customer service. I hands down love it when employees listen to their customers. I’m not sure if the guy was the Owner/​Manager or just a stand out employee but he over heard myself and another mom talking about Shopkins. For those who don’t know about those buggers, it’s the latest and greatest craze to collect thanks to these youtube videos that the kids love to watch. The man came up and became very interested in our conversation and then proceeded to write down what we were telling him so he can look into carrying those items in the store. Nothing says I want your business like a employee that listens.
Keep supplying the kitschy and unique toys, and you will keep my obsessive self coming back for them ;-)

Cool place! While wandering around Vegas I was lucky enough to walk into this place. They have some cool classic toys & some cool new ones.
Even though it is small I walked around for an hour and man it brought back a lot of memories of the toys from the past.
Bring lots of cash because you’ll want to buy a lot. Classic toys, no classic prices.

Classic Tin Robots, Super Mario Flying Bullets, and X-​Ray Specks. Holy amazing trinket time! To the Bat-​Mobile… «cool kids», you have been warned.
Yes, I’m an adult in the legal sense of the word… I can buy booze, drive a car, and can get incarnated if I choose to mix those two together. Just for the record, I haven’t and won’t.
But when it comes to unique toy shops, comic booky items, or weird stuff from a foreign land, I’m all over it. Kappa Toys has all of the above and it fuels the culture vulture inside me. I came here to kill some time before a meeting and slowly fell in «like» with the place. Catching my eye in the window was a Robbie the Robot type item and found out this place carries all sort of goodies. Classic Batman TV show figurines, Japanese monsters, Simpsons goodies, Unicorn masks, and a statue of a little boy who pees on you. Yes, you read hat right. I was peed on by a little boy figurine. **Insert crude joke here**
As I walked through the store and took a mental inventory of everything I wanted to buy, I was approached by a very sweet and helpful person who I later found out was the owner. Lizzie, informed me that they would be carrying, more Doctor Who stuff in the future and I got giddy with delight! The Doctor Who stuff they have now is minimal, but there’s enough stuff in here to distract your Whovian love.
I highly recommend checking this place out next time you’re at Container Park. Go in, get a Godzilla truck, and high five your friend, because now you’re the coolest MFer in town!

Unilocal 365 CHALLENGE 2014−(357÷365) «A Container Full Of Toys!»
The last time we passed by Kappa Toys, they had already closed for the evening. This visit, we made it inside about half an hour before closing… whew!
Kappa Toys has something for everyone here-​Books, lunchboxes, retro toys, wind up toys, stuffed animals, learning toys, earth friendly toys, everything! They also have a cool section of masks and accessories to help you piece together a sweet costume!
The guys that run this place are very cool and knowledgeable about the selections they have inside, it will help you get what you’re looking for without feeling too overwhelmed by the madness! ALOHA!!!

The Container Parks very own toy box. Just look for the vibrant colorful storefront with a non martial arts mutant turtle towards the back. The lively mix of nostalgic and inventive toys are perfect for wee tots like my 2 boys or the wee tot in you. Retro action figures and Japanese doodads abound. It’s basically a veritable Pee Wee’s playhouse in there. The selection is innocent and wholesome. I can imagine the legions of computer desk knick-​knacks and paddy-​whacks adorning the Zappos office from here.
The selection is complete chaos in order. Randomness in sections. From toys for toes & kiddie tattoos to Mario Bro’s & Dr. Who’s. You will be entertained browsing through the shop. It’s a very feel good toy store where you would actually want your kids to pick from. I can’t help but think of Harajuku clashed with hipster then exploded into bits and pieces and landed perfectly onto shelves and stacked neatly to become Kappa Toys toy store.
No matter how thick or thin your wallet is you will find something special here. Although some larger things may be a bit overpriced, there are even bins of interesting little quarter machine toys that you might remember from way back when quarter machines only costed a quarter. Please take me back to my childhood?! Impossible. Well then take me to Kappa Toys instead! :)

I love this place!
As a kid of the 80’s it’s seriously amazing when you are checking out cool toys and the My Little Pony theme song comes on the music selection in the store. The workers and the other two customers that were there all were humming and singing along.
They have a small selection of cheap ($ 5-​$ 10) masks for party occasions. I saw a peacock themed one, a Mardi Gras type, a giraffe, a phantom one, some lace masks… defiantly priced lower than Party City or Halloween stores. You can even purchase fun hats here like a pirate hat, a birthday cake shaped hat, crowns/​tiaras for all occasions.
Some of the items they carry are: Hello Kitty, Star Trek, magic tricks, jag gifts, board games, origami lantern light kits, tiny music boxes, every kind of wind up animal, temp tattoos, kaleidoscopes of every size, Little Golden Books, Where’s Waldo…
I could go on and on but just go there. Make sure you have an hour or more… relax and have fun.
The workers/​owners love it when people are taken back to their childhood.

Cute little toy store– great for picking out gifts for friends or kids, or friends with kids! Lots of items here will appeal to young and old alike, with old school board games and vintage cartoon character figurines (Hello Kitty, Domo, Mickey & Minnie) mixing with classic Etch-​a-​Sketch and educational doodads (bug magnifier, anyone?).
Modern stuff includes hats and masks, Frozen-​themed light-​up magic wands, and random Pokémon-​esque characters I’ve never seen before. All the kids in the store looked like they were having an awesome time exploring, and as an adult, I was too.
Pricing is mostly reasonable, as many of the items are hard to find, limited, or only available online. Exercise caution when taking your kiddo in though, they’re going to want everything they see.

Kappa toys has everything you need to entertain kids and adults, from interesting foreign baubles to classic American books. I love their selection of wind-​up toys, and all of the props and masks!
