Journey Education

Both my children attended Journey School. This school is a gem in our school system. Excellent curriculum, caring smart teachers, phenominal administration, family and community orientated. Best part very small class sizes. I could not ask for a better more affordable school for my children.

Our experience at Journey Education has been exceptional. The teachers have truly been invested in my children’s education and their growth as learners. Adjustments are made as needed to meet the needs of the individual child. Small class sizes and leveled learning have enabled my children to gain confidence in their academic abilities. The administration is open minded and think outside the box to make Journey a successful educational experience for all of the students. Journey is committed to the whole children. They are taught value lessons, communication and leadership skills. We love Journey Education!

My son attended Journey education as a kindergartner for the 14 – 15 school year and we absolutely loved it. The class size is very small so he received a ton of personal attention. The teachers are excellent and go above and beyond. There is ZERO bullying and the older students are always kind and helpful to the younger ones. They also teach the children the pledge and say it every morning which I love. We are moving out of the state and leaving Journey is one of the hardest things about it. We absolutely love it!

After two years of dedication and fundraising. Dr. Marlin made the final contribution allowing the playground to be constructed and completed over the Christmas break.
The construction of the playground was headed up by Journeys Parent Organization JPO headed by Kricket Blackwell and overseeing engineerJim Smith.
Journey education provides character compassion, academics and structured environment. Children are encouraged to develop core values specifically to build self-​confidence and leadership skills.
The academic staff headed by principle, Cindy Jensen was master of ceremonies and had a student lead the families and visitors in the pledge of allegiance. The ribbon cutting was lead by a lucky student.

I am a Las Vegas native and a product of the Clark County School District. I wish I could have had the opportunities like these students have. Each student is placed according to skill and ability in each subject instead of just focusing on grade level. Children who need extra help in math or reading can have the individualized attention while still being challenged in their other subjects. Throughout the year these students get involved in community and charitable events.
Last year the Leadership class ran a coat and food drive for the homeless, and they are already planning involvement in other service projects for this school year. These children have amazing opportunities to learn courage, compassion, and commitment. They are leaders.

My son and daughter attend Journey. I LOVE it! I have never been to a school that has such a positive atmosphere where every teacher and staff member truly care about the success of your child in and out of school. The class sizes are small providing for individualized attention. Each child is given their appropriate level of help whether it be easier work, harder work or right on their level. The teachers adjust the difficulty based upon each individual child. Along with the great loving staff, the small class sizes and adjustable curriculum, Journey is one big family. As a parent, I love that I can drop by the school anytime and many parents are there too helping with whatever needs to be done. We even hang out with many of the families and staff outside of school. Everyone has such great values! This school is like a home away from home for my kids.

My daughter attends Journey and we couldn’t be happier. After having a not so great experience at another private school and paying more than triple the price, we were referred to Journey and are so thankful. The class sizes are small, the children get one on one attention, and it truly feels like a family. Thank you Journey for taking such great care of my daughter.

My Grandson attends Journey Education, we love the school. The best part about Journey is that they care for each and every child. The classes are small and the teachers are wonderful. The tuition cost is lower then most private schools in Las Vegas.
