History

Established in 2001.

CornerStone Christian Academy was founded in 2001 to promote Christian values and academic excellence. CornerStone Christian Tykes Preschool was opened in 2003, and has since received its NAEYC certification. We strive to provide the finest education while nurturing family and community relationships.

I have nothing but good things to say about Cornerstone. I have 4 children that attend this amazing school. The academics are beyond excellent, the teachers are compassionate and care so much about my kids and the staff is the best. So so happy with this school.

I went to this school when they were still at First Presbyterian Academy and followed them to Cornerstone. So from preschool through middle school. I absolutely adore this school! A lot of teachers are no longer there since I graduated in 2003 but there are still a few. When I decided to go to public high school I was about 2 grades ahead of every else. I have this school to thank for teaching me everything I needed to know. If I have kids I plan on enrolling them into this school.

All three of my girls go here and we have had great experiences with both the Academy and Tykes Programs. The teachers really care and we love the after school arts program that is offered

Do NOT enroll your child in this school if they are Middle Schoolers. The Dean is a monster. Her name is Lola Raphael. She has zero respect for parents and she is VERY mean to the kids. If you complain, the principle, who HAPPENS to be her friend, will do absolutely nothing about it. She is untouchable. Save yourself the frustration and take your child to Faith Lutheran. Cornerstone is NOT worth it.

What a great gem of the Las Vegas scholastic desert! left the county schools in frustration. Here I see my children treated with respect by the staff. Its obvious that theytruely care about child development. I have watched them constantly improve year over year. Debbie Kay is the most dedicated administrated I have known. They have real food served daily too which is nice. I can’t recco! mend this school enough!

My son loves going to school here, and I love taking him! Everyone is so nice and friendly. Staff and teachers are so awesome. Compared to other schools, their tuition is very very reasonable. I’m so glad I enrolled my son here.
