I worked for an insurance defense firm for several years before I hung out my own shingle. I opened in 1985 and have worked as a sole practitioner form 1985 to 2002. From 2003 to 2007 I worked as a Plaintiff’s personal injury lawyer on high end cases. From 2008 until present I again worked solo.

Originally from Minneapolis I have lived in New York City, Iowa City, San Diego and Des Moines. I have raised kids and now am a grandfather. I have been a lawyer since graduating from the University of San Diego. I practice personal injury, bankruptcy, family law, criminal and living trusts. I am available 24÷7÷365 for emergencies. My motto is personal attention at reasonable rates. I will treat you like family and use my experience and competence to achieve the best result for you.

Went in to print out something that I forwarded from my email and the lady Chris says she’s not allowed to do it. I have been in many times and they have done it for me.
I asked to speak to the manager and he made his way to the back he said he would be back there at least 20 minutes before he could come out and talk to me.
They were annoyed and basically refused to help me.
I asked asked for a card and said I was going to call and speak to someone over them and they basically shrugged their shoulders.
She didn’t care.
So sorry I reviewed the wrong business!!!
I’m glad the owner brought it to my attention… so sorry!!!

I have been acquiring James Smith legal services since 2007 and till this day cause of his accurate legal counsel! I have dealt with other attorneys when I need advice they give me the round around or ages to talk to but hands down, James is very caring, professional and has always been there for me if I have any legal questions no matter what time of day.
