This place is amazing! Price is comparable to places around here, but the quality is exceptional! I got gel mani done over a week ago and my nails are still intact and not peeling at all! Definitely coming back!

I just moved to Spring Valley area and was looking for a new nail salon. I wanted a new set of hard gel nails after taking off acrylics that did a lot damage to my nails. I had my nails done by Mindy and she was very professional and detailed oriented. The place is clean and neat and staff is very welcomong. Definetly will be back again

I went in last Tuesday at 530 and asked for a gel mani. There were 2 other customers in the lobby and 2 nail techs working. After my request the receptionist asked if I could make an appointment for tomorrow since they were short staffed tonight. I said no and I’d go elsewhere. Well good god can I say thank you for being short staffed!!! Because I went over to Diamond Nails just down the street and wow they were fully staffed and took me right in even with how busy and full their salon was! They were friendlier, more patient with color choosing, better quality, AND last time at Highland they charged $ 10 for just two accent nails and Diamond only charged $ 5. Heck yeah!!! Thanks Highland for turning me away :)

Best place to come. this is my 3^rd time coming here doing Gel manicure to pedi to Gel matte manicure and I loved it, I had mei (idk if spelled it right) and kelly they are good and nice ! I would really recommend this place esp it’s near me where I live! Love the candle lotion they use at the end of it. !!!

I love coming for my pedis here. The staff is super friendly and helpful, and they give amazing massages.

I came in the store with high expectations from the reviews. I show the lady exactly what I wanted with the picture that I got from the Internet and she said she will be able to do them like that. Turns out they looked nothing like the picture Very DISAPPOINTED.

Had the best feet massage + gel pedicure EVER!!! Get the hot stone + mint towel leg treatment, so worth it! Was seated right away & everyone there was friendly & accommodating. Best days to come here are Mon-​Thurs AM!

2^nd time going here as a walk-​in, good experience every time. Did not have to wait long. Friendly staff and technician. I wanted «coffin» shaped acrylics and showed the technician a photo. She took a quick glance and gave me stiletto shaped nails (which still looked good). Next time I will just have to make sure she or my next technician pays extra attention to what I want. However still a good experience and happy with my nails. :)

The $ 45 8hot stone pedicure is well worth it! So relaxing after a long week at work :) I will be back! They also have almost 2000 gel colors to choose from! A girls dream!

Just got my nails done literally a few minutes ago.
My nail technician was Kim. I had a old set of acrylic that I wanted to remove. She cut a big chunk of my
Nail off & my thumb bleed. She glued that part of my nail back hoping it’ll be ok. It was really painful! While using the machine they use to smooth out the nail she did it so close to my skin & I bled again. I wouldn’t be coming back here again. $ 40 to get bled. Not worth it!

I find myself returning to this salon time and time again despite moving to different sides of town. I try to find salons closer to my place but the gel polish ALWAYS chips. No matter where I go. Highland Nails’ gel nail formula is mixed with some type of mystery magic that keeps the polish from chipping. This salon is always packed too, so they must be doing something right!

I came in here on a Wednesday morning to get my six-​day-​old acrylic nails taken off ($ 10) & for a manicure ($ 15). Thankfully, I was able to get in, but it got very busy, very quickly. I would suggest booking an appointment for sure.
I was helped by an employee named Mai. She was great. She warned me that taking off the acrylics was going to hurt since they were so new, but she was very gentle and it was not bad at all. She cleaned up my nails very nicely and did a great job on polishing them. The salon is also very clean. They had a ton of nail polish colors too.
I totally recommend Mai and this salon. I will be coming back for a pedicure in the near future.
Also, Jasmine at the front desk was super sweet!

Me and my sister were referred by her friend so we decided to try it out. I couldn’t be any happier! We made appointments for mani/pedi’s the day before and got in at our scheduled time. They sat us next to each other so we could talk and enjoy each others company. Offered us water numerous times. My manicure was done before my sisters so they sat me down to get my pedicure, she followed shortly after. They even made sure we had chairs next to each other there too which was awesome and we didn’t even ask.
Mindy did an amazing job on my nails and Anna made my feet soft and pretty :) they were both so friendly and didn’t rush even considering how busy they were, it was great! I didn’t get the gentlemen’s name that did my sister’s mani/​pedi but he was very nice and she loved how her nails turned out as well. We will be going back very soon! Thank you to everyone that works there, you made our first experience great and memorable!!! See you all soon :)

I ended up having a my middle nail broke completely off after about 1.5 week. It looked cute, while it lasted, but not worth the value if I have to go get it fixed after only about a week and a half.

We came here for my husband’s birthday, they surprised us with a champagne glass with coconut water in it and some chocolate and a birthday candle, that’s a very sweet touch !! Never get disappointed in this place ! Mr. T is the best !!

After reading all the good reviews I thought I’d see for myself. I was not disappointed. Amy was my manicurist. She took her time. Was very nice & polite. She was very detailed when she painted my nails.
The salon was very busy. Very clean. Every one was friendly. Everyone spoke English. They tell you right away how much it will cost, before they even start.
I will definitely be back.

After being referred here by two great gal pals, I am a big supporter of Highland Nails, and, in particular, An the nail magician. Even though this place is not in my neighborhood, I gladly make the drive from my ‘hood to the Southwest. First I was only coming here to get gel pedicures done. I remember being a bit overwhelmed on my first appointment because this is the busiest nail salon I’ve ever been to. One side of the room has the manicure stations and facing them are the pedicure stations with the welcoming massage chairs. That first time, there were at least five customers on each side of the room, with others waiting for their appointments. However, with an appointment, I’ve never had to wait more than five minutes to see An. An is the only nail tech I’ve seen because Angela T. said she was the best and she is! Don’t get me wrong; everyone there seems nice, but An is just so friendly and always has a smile on her face. We talk about our kids and phở. Plus, she takes care of my beat-​up toes which I abuse with running so much so that I’ve lost a couple in the past month. An just makes new nails with acrylic, though, and, voila! I have toenails again. I started getting gel manicures, too, and those manicures (and the pedicures) last forever. I’ve had two manicures from her and my nails seem indestructible even with multiple gym workouts, washing multiple dishes, and other assorted daily activities that you’d think would break a nail or two eventually. The last manicure lasted more than four weeks before I had to go in just because my nails got too long for me and I could barely type with those claws.
Bottom line: make an appointment because this place is usually hopping with customers. They have a rewards system that you can also sign up for, plus a Unilocal check-​in deal that gives you 10% off your first visit; use it!

Favorite place to get nails done hands down (no pun intended). I have tried so many places but this is my favorite in town. My gel manicure lasts a long time and they do paraffin treatment for all deluxe treatments. I love hot towels and massage they give as part of packages.
The owner is organized and keeps chat by staff to a minimum. Place is clean and always a great experience. I recommend the hot stone and candle pedicures. They know what they are doing. If you pay cash and use member card you get 10% off. Discount money off so many visits… love the rewards program.
