Let’s start with this company operates under TWO names. Their website is under International Wigs(dot com) but their Paypal account is Hairs to Wigs. Per Complaints Board — they have multiple complaints under International Wigs. Per the Better Business Bureau — Hairs to Wigs is rated an «F» on a scale of A+ to F. For Halloween, I designed four Jewel Troll costumes including colors of Hot Pink, Bright Orange, Yellow, and Neon Green. I have ordered from an array of online websites and all products have so far been accurate in color(give or take). Until tonight when I received the last piece of the costume — the wigs. I ordered from International Wigs on October 12th2014. While my Order Confirmation states«Neon Green», matching the website’s option of Neon Green, I was instead sent the color«Neon». There is no «Green» anywhere on the unopened package or tag and the wig is not near a shade of green. When I brought this to the owner’s attention on October 29th2014, they responded with the following description to the Neon Green color: «a very very bright neon yellow light color». They further said«only regular green is green» along with admitting they cannot fix this as they are«pretty much sold out». They refused to work with me even though they sent a wig that omits the word«green» on the tag, in addition to describing the wig I received as yellow. Had this wig arrived as an off-color of green and not a color of green I personally imagined, it would be understood that I assumed the risk of not being the exact color I wanted when I ordered the Neon Green without an available color sample to review first. But, this owner explicitly acknowledged knowing«Neon Green» is a yellow shade. SO how on Earth was I to know?! It’s pretty apparent they intentionally omit the Neon Green color sample on their website for shady operating reasons. Additionally, when I placed my order there were seven shipping options to choose from. Three(of the seven) had no costs associated next to the select bubble. One read«Select Express or Standard». The other read«Standard — Guaranteed by Oct. 31st for USA Orders Only». The other shipping options described method of delivery along WITH an associated cost read like«Ground at $ 10» or «3 Day Air at $ 25. All paid for options were for deliveries between overnight and 9 days. Standard with no cost usually implies snail mail — which is free in the USA — and receipt in 19 days is never an issue from Vegas to Denver. Upon Paypal confirmation, however, I noticed a $ 6.99 Shipping Fee. This was the first contact I had with the owner, explaining the same logic above. They would not answer my questions, rather they said that I should have read shipping fees information. NO, I shouldn’t have to parade around a poorly maintained website to find out about my CURRENT order. Then they wrote back, using all CAPS, being quite mean only to say my order was under $ 100 so there is a cost for shipping(my order was a bit over $ 86). Again, and how was I to know? I chose my battle and moved on. Until a week goes by without a tracking number for my order. At this point, I received the four catsuits, two tutus(from two sellers), and two track shorts. I was yet to receive even a tracking number from this place though! They could not provide still on Thursday the 23rd. I asked them to keep me posted on when they receive the wigs«from the manufacturer»(that’s the excuse they gave). I never received anything back. I reached out today and they said they sent a shipping email and to check my SPAM? So I did, nothing there. WHETHERINTERNATIONALWIGSORHAIRSTOWIGS — DONOTFALLINTHEIRTRAP.
