History

Established in 1997.

We’ve been incorporated in Nevada since 1996 and have a seasoned staff that has a collective 150 years of investigative, law enforcement and intelligence experience. We have conducted background investigations of individuals and companies for governmental compliance, regulatory due diligence, pre-​employment backgrounds and employee re-​evaluations in over 80 countries. Investigations relating to sensitive business decisions such as mergers and acquisitions or corporate appointments are often outsourced to Global Intelligence Network.

We handle work for various business types. We’ve performed investigations for gaming manufacturers and suppliers, hotels and casinos, Indian Nations, individual States for gaming licenses, attorneys and others wishing to have the information to make sound business decisions.

Business Owner

Mr. Maheu is the President of Global Intelligence Network, an intelligence and investigations firm specializing in due diligence for regulatory compliance in the gaming industry and other business sectors. Global performs background investigations of corporate entities and individuals, completing thousands of investigations in over 70 countries since the company’s inception. Peter is a licensed Private Investigator in California and Nevada.

Peter is also currently the Chairman and CEO of QSI Specialists, the largest mystery shopping firm in Nevada.

Peter has written several articles and lectured to various organizations including the International Association of Gaming Attorneys, World President’s Organization, and the California Association of Licensed Investigators on topics such as compliance, due diligence and complex business fraud. Of special interest is Peter’s extensive research into the emerging gaming markets abroad, with emphasis on organized crime.
